Abstract

This study aims to test empirically whether public share ownership is able to moderate the relationship between the financial performance proxyed with profitabiltas on the quality of information. The quality of IFR information is measured through the disclosure index compiled by Boubaker et al (2012). This index contains 100 items of website-based disclosure that are commonly used in measuring the quality of accounting-based reporting information. The sample of this study is a manufacturing company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, where the data analysis techniques that will be used are moderated Regresion Analysis with the help of Indirect macro created by Andrew F. Hayes (2015) in combination with SPSS 23. The results show that public shareholding is able moderate the relationship between financial performance with the quality of IFR information.

Abstract

Higher education has an important role in producing quality human resources. In order to be able to carry out its role well, universities are required to be able to implement good human resource management, especially in improving the performance of employees and lecturers. This study was intended to analyze the effect of motivation and compensation on the discipline of employees and lecturers at the Abdi Nusa Pangkalpinang School of Health Sciences. The population and sample are all employees and lecturers totaling 52 people. Measurement of research variables with instruments in questionnaires quantified with a Likert scale. The method of analysis uses multiple regression analysis. Hypothesis testing uses t-test.  The results of this study result that the motivation and compensation respectively partially have a positive and significant effect on the discipline of employees and lecturers at the Abdi Nusa Pangkalpinang School of Health Sciences. The recommendation of this research is that the institution is expected to provide support and awards to improve the performance of employees and lecturers.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the comparison of financial distress in construction companies in the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2014 - 2018 using 5 methods are Altman Z-Score, Falmer, Grover, Springate and Zmijewski methods. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The sample in this study amounted to 8 construction companies. The analysis technique used is descriptive analysis by comparing the results of financial distress using the 5 methods. The results of the study stated that some companies experienced financial distress or experienced conditions of financial difficulties, such as Adhi Karya (ADHI) and Nusa Konstruksi Enjiniring (DGIK). Financial conditions that are unstable or experience fluctuations that cause companies to have the possibility of financial distress.

Abstract

The pecking order theory of capital structure is one of the most influential theories of corporate finance. The purpose of this study is to explore the most important factors on a firm’s capital structure by pecking-order theory. Hierarchical regression is used as the analysis model. This study examines the determinants of debt decisions for 31Indonesianbanking companies that are quoted on the Indonesian Stock Exchange of 2010-2015. The results indicate that the determinants of capital structure are profitability and growth rate. The profitability negatively effects on the capital structure. It implies that firms prefer to use their earnings to finance business activities and thus useless debt capital. Growth rate positively affects capital structure. The greater growth opportunity will have more capital structure to finance the growth. Size is a moderator variable in this study. Size of firms moderates the effects of the tax rate on capital structure. Large firms appear to take advantage of the tax deductibility of debt. The findings are important for management and investors.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the quality of human resources, the use of information technology, the internal control system, the field of financial control, and organizational commitment affect the reliability of the financial reporting information value of the Bangka Regency government. The sample amounted to 96 respondents in the government of Bangka Regency. The sample in this study used purposive sampling using the specified criteria. The type of data and data collection methods are primary data, research data obtained directly from the original source in the form of answers to the questionnaire. The results form factors, namely the internal control system and the financial control area. Where the form factor consists of variable quality of human resources, utilization of information technology, internal control systems, areas of financial control and organizational commitment have a significant influence on the reliability of the value of financial reporting information of local governments. The dominant variable is the internal control system, while the lowest variable is the quality of human resources.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi, komunikasi, dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja tutor Universitas Terbuka di Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian survey. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 230 orang dari populasi 544 orang yang diambil melalui teknik proportional random sampling. Instrumen penelitian ini terdiri dari kuisioner kompetensi, komunikasi, kompensasi, motivasi kerja, dan kinerja. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1). kompetensi dan komunikasi berpengaruh langsung positif terhadap motivasi kerja, 2). kompetensi, motivasi kerja dan komunikasi berpengaruh langsung positif terhadap kinerja.

Abstract

The most important thing in the management of Islamic education is the management components. One of them is public relations management (public relations) because the school is in the midst of the community and always relates to establishing pedagogical and sociological cooperation that benefits both parties. Management is very important for the success of an organization. PR is a series of organized activities such as a series of integrated campaigns or programs, and all of them are ongoing and regular. The community as a third educational institution after family and school has a considerable role in the ongoing activities concerning education problems. Given the importance of the role of public relations in educational institutions and the gap between theory and reality in the field (problems), this paper will discuss "Implementation of Islamic Education Management in the Concept of Public Relations with School Management. Conclusion This paper is; First, the Implementation of Islamic Education Management in the Concept of Management of Public Relations with Schools will run optimally, if it is planning, organizing, implementing and monitoring properly. Second, Supporting Factors in the Implementation of Islamic Education Management in the Concept of Management of Public Relations with Schools is a harmonious relationship between school members and the surrounding community in particular and the wider community in general which is applied through student activities especially extracurricular activities. Abstract

This study aims to determine the profitability value of the amount of own capital to the amount of profit to be obtained, assuming that the greater the profit, the greater the value of profitability.  The object in this study was 36 "KaryaRini" Tin Women Cooperative Pangkalpinang.  Data collection techniques in this study were documentation techniques, using descriptive analysis with multiple linear regression models.  The results showed that self-capital and loan capital had an effect on profitability.  Capital itself had a positive effect and loan capital had a negative effect on profitability.
