Abstract

Light brick is an alternative to making walls in addition to the red brick series used by ordinary people. The purpose of this study is to compare the calculation of budget costs and the need to use red brick walls with light brick walls. The implementation method is to calculate the unit price analysis of the installation of red brick and light brick, the AHS is multiplied by the volume and the RAB is obtained, then the calculated RAB is compared between the two. Conclusion the price of installing a red brick wall pair is Rp. 44,128,086.00. The price of installing a lightweight brick wall pair is Rp. 85,295,824.71. The difference between the two jobs is Rp. 41,167,738.71. The percentage difference between the two jobs is 48.3%.

Abstract

Low carbon steel is an alloy consisting of the main elements of carbon with a low composition and iron. The mechanical properties of low carbon steel are influenced by the composition and microstructure of metals. One of the mechanical properties of the metal to be searched for is violence. The purpose of this study is to conduct hardening testing of low carbon steel material. The results obtained from this study are that the hardness of low carbon steel increases with increasing heating temperature. In addition, based on experimental data it is known that salt water cooling media has a higher hardness compared to SAE 10 oil.

Abstract

Development in the field of construction is very rapid, including in the construction of housing, hospital offices and so on. Concrete as a building material has long been used and widely applied by the community because it has advantages - advantages over other structural materials which have good strength, fire resistance, resistance to weather changes, and are relatively easy in construction. This research was conducted to determine the effect of substitution with Texafone additives on concrete compressive strength. The method used in this study is to make lightweight concrete substitute for texafon additives by 0%, 10% and 30% of the weight of lightweight Concrete sand which has been cured during 7 days later it was tested to get the compressive strength of lightweight concrete. The results showed the value of 0% substitution strength at 7 days is 6.2 Mpa, while an additional 10% is 5.21 Mpa and an additional 30% is 4.51 Mpa.

Abstract

This study will discuss the effect of the Wlingi hydropower synchronous generator excitation current on each change of load to keep the nominal outtime voltage of the generator with the changing voltage of 150 kV. Data analysis was obtained from the Wlingi Hydroelectric Daily Operation Report (LHO) in accordance with the changes in generator load or changes in transmission voltage values ​​to determine the effect on changes in AVR excitation currents. The next daily data obtained is compared with the initial setting or characteristics of the AVR when the Commissioning Test, the resulting deviation will be used as input for Engineering UP Brantas in carrying out the next corrective action. Thus the reliability of the Wlingi PLTA in serving P2B to maintain the stability of the Java-Bali 150 kV transmission system is maintained. So that it can contribute to improving company performance.

Abstract

Kebutuhan akan produk pertanian dan keterbatasan lahan mengharuskan adanya cara yang lebih intensif untuk bertani. Salah satu solusi dari masalah tersebut adalah menggunakan growbox. Growbox tidak harus berbentuk kotak, tapi bisa berbentuk tabung. Tabung Growbox telah dibuat dengan ukuran tinggi 35 cm, diameter bawah 27 cm dan diameter atas 36,5 cm. Growbox dilengkapi sel surya yang memungkinkannya menangkap sinar matahari di waktu siang hari dan menggunakannya untuk menghidupi lampu di malam hari. Syarat untuk terlaksananya hal ini adalah energi atau daya yang peroleh lebih tinggi daripada yang dikeluarkan. Setelah growbox dibuat, dilakukan pengujian di bagian input dan output menggunakan voltmeter dan amperemeter. Bagian input berupa sel surya dan bagian outputnya led. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan sel surya dapat menghsilkan daya maksimal 142,36 mW dan led mengkonsumsi daya hingga 80,77 mW. Dari daya masukan dan keluaran dapat diperkirakan growbox mampu bekerja terus-menerus tanpa menghabiskan energinya.
