Abstract

This study, the application of an expert system for hepatitis disease which was made last year has been developed so that it is now being developed based on user satisfaction. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the value of user convenience and the accuracy of the existing information system in the hepatitis expert system application. This type of research is descriptive quantitative with a cross sectional approach. While this research is described in multiple linear regression analysis and descriptive analysis. The results of user convenience with an average of 3.4 and descriptive of the accuracy of information get an average value of 3.0. The results of the ease of use show that there is a significant effect on user satisfaction and the multiple linear regression analysis shows the accuracy of the information and does not have a significant effect on user satisfaction.

Abstract

Anemia is a worldwide health issue, and Indonesia is no exception. The understanding of adolescents about anemia can be improved through health education. Instagram is an appropriate social media platform to disseminate health information. This research aims to determine the effect of health education through Instagram on the knowledge and attitude of anemia prevention among female adolescents at SMK N 1 Bojongsari. This research applied a pre-experimental design involving one group with  pretest and posttest.  The population included in this research were 213 female adolescents from class X at SMK N 1 Bojongsari, Purbalingga in the 2023/2024 academic year who experienced from anemia and had an Instagram account. The students were selected using  total sampling technique. Knowledge and attitude questionnaire concerning the prevention of anemia was implemented in this study. After filling out the pretest questionnaire, respondents received health education for one week. After that, a posttest questionnaire was filled out. The results revealed that the majority of respondents had good knowledge at pretest, with 116 respondents (56.3%), and this number increased to 145 respondents (70.4%) at posttest. Respondents' attitudes were mostly positive at pretest, with 169 respondents (82%), and increased to 191 respondents (92.7%) at posttest. Wilcoxon statistical test results showed a p-value of 0.001, indicating that health education through Instagram has an effect on the knowledge and attitudes of female adolescents at SMK N 1 Bojongsari regarding anemia prevention. Therefore, it is recommended to implement health education through social media to improve the knowledge and attitudes in order to prevent anaemia.  Keywords: anemia prevention, attitude, health education, instagram, knowledge

Abstract

The Trias School Health Efforts (UKS), which include health education, health services, and the development of a healthy environment, are strategic efforts to improve the health status of students. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the Trias UKS program at SMA Sultan Agung 3 Semarang. The research method used is a descriptive survey with a cross-sectional approach, involving 150 respondents consisting of students, teachers, and school health workers. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and field observations, and then analyzed both quantitatively and qualitatively. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of health education falls into the good category, although there are challenges in the provision of health services, particularly regarding the availability of facilities and infrastructure. The development of a healthy environment has been implemented quite effectively but requires increased participation from all school members. Overall, the Trias UKS program at SMA Sultan Agung 3 Semarang has been well-executed, though improvements are needed in certain aspects to achieve more optimal results. This study provides recommendations for policy improvement and program implementation in the school health environment.

Abstract

Toddlers are one of the groups that are prone to experiencing nutritional problems.  This can inhibit the mental and physical growth of children and can subsequently have an impact on the next generation. The study was conducted to analyze the relationship between existing environmental variables and the nutritional status of toddlers based on provinces in Indonesia. Further analysis of secondary data from the 2022 Indonesia Nutrition Status Survey and the Central Statistics Agency of Indonesia. This study using quantitative method with univariate and correlation analyses. The unit of analysis in this study is all 34 provinces in Indonesia. The variables analyzed were the number of malnutrition prevalence, the number of poor people, and the level of education. There’s wide variability of the number of poor people. The greater the number of poor people, the greater the number of malnutrition events in toddlers. The number of poor people is positively related to the number of malnutrition events in toddlers, be it stunting, wasting, or underweight. Meanwhile, the level of education has no relationship with the prevalence of malnutrition toddlers. The results of this study are considered important as a policy basis to improve the poverty rate and strive for better economic development in Indonesia.  Keywords: education level, nutritional status of toddlers, poverty level
