Abstract

This article reviews the urgency of entrepreneurship education in universities. The study was carried out through a process of analyzing various sources from literature and journals related to entrepreneurship. Discussion result shows that entrepreneurship education is very important to be applied in universities in any department to produce graduates with entrepreneurial mentality who is able to open employment opportunities to support the progress of the country's economy.

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to find out (1) whether or not the use of Edmodo virtual class increases the motivation of the students of SMA Negeri 24 Karanrang island Pangkep in writing English and (2) the extent to which Edmodo virtual class increases students writing achievement. The population was all the students of SMA Negeri 24 Karanrang island at Pangkep regency in academic year 2018/2019. The students in this remote area were consisted of 30 students merely. Involving two classes (class X and class XI), selected by using total sampling technique, this research employed quasi experimental design (15 students as experimental class that was taught by using Edmodo virtual class and 15 students as control class that was taught by lecturing way). The data then collected through questionnaire (of writing motivation) and writing test, then analyzed through descriptive statistics and inferential statistic (SPSS) program version 22. The result gained from the data analysis showed that (1) the use of Edmodo virtual class in writing motivation was significantly different from the existing way. (2) The use of Edmodo virtual class in writing achievement increases the students writing achievement

Abstract

This paper is intended to uncover the core issues that exist in madrasah as aroot barrier to the improvement of its quality. The results show that madrasah confronts a dilemma as an educational institution. As an educational institution, madrasah should be given broad discretion in its management, especially in the era of regional autonomy. In todays era of autonomy, one of the concepts that canbe applied to improve the quality of education is the School-Based Management (SBM). The paper argues that although madrasah is under the auspice of the Department of Religion, the concept of School-Based Management (MBS) canbe adopted by madrasah on the basis of its suitability as strategies in coping with madrasahs problems. The implementation of Madrasah-Based Management is intended to improve the quality of madrasah as an Islamic institution.

Abstract

This research was design to know the influence of pedagogic to student's motivation. By knowing the influence of pedagogic competence on learning motivation, it is hoped that student's motivation will increase more than before. Motivation is an important thing in learning process, because motivation is abooster for student to do learning activities.Sample of this research is 5th semester student of Watampone which is 50 students. Instruments of data collection in this research are observation, questionnaire and documentation. The regression analysis was simpe-regression analysis. The results showed that there were positive and significant influence of pedagogic competence, learning motivation in descriptive statistics subject of Islamic Economics of STAIN Watampone

Abstract

This research aims to: (1) understand the self-concept of students, habit of students, and students mathematics learning outcomes, (2) determine how the effects of self-concept on students mathematics learning outcomes, the influence of learning habit on students' mathematics learning outcomes, the influence of self-concept and learning habit with the students' mathematics learning outcomes.This research wasex-post facto research. The research was conducted in SMP YP PGRI 4 Makassar with sample 40 people. Data collection in this research used question naires and do cumentation. Technique of data analysis used simple linear regression and multiple regressions. The results showed that (1) the concept of self concept of the students, learning habit, and learning outcomes have a tendency in the high category, (2) a significant difference between self concept and mathematics learning outcomes, learning habit with students' mathematics learning outcomes, self concept and learning habit with the learning outcomes of VIII grademath students of SMP YP PGRI 4 Makassar.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim to; analyzing cash flow management, reviewing the acceptance of the first one-year regular SPP S1 for STAIN students and the first year until the fourth year before and after the policy of Single Tuition and Single Tuition Fee (UKT-BKT) at the State Islamic High School in South Sulawesi. This research uses descriptive analysis and statistical test, statistic test on acceptance and use before and after UKT-BKT, done with t test for paired sample with SPSS (Statistical Package for the social science) with 90% confidence level (significant level ? = 0.05. With the aim of knowing whether there is a real difference in the acceptance of regular S1 SPP before and after the policy of UKT and BKT. The results of this study indicate that there is no significant mean difference between acceptance before and after UKT in the variables of use so as to be able to maintain the liquidity of cash flows at the two institutions. While the ratio analysis test shows the agency's ability to finalize short-term liabilities for current ratio, And for quick ratio shows the ability of both institutions to pay off current debt. In the Second Cash Ratio the agency can settle operational payments and programmed activities.Based on the analysis of cash ratio before and after UKT BKT in both institutions have Liquid cash means Both universities are able to pay off short-term debt and can run the program even though in 2015 until 2017 there is an outstanding debt but can be paid because the initial cash from KPPN as payment in advance.

Abstract

This study is a correlational study that aims to see the relationship of teacher competency to student achievement in SMP Negeri 3 Takkalalla in the second semester of the 2017/2018 school year in Wajo district. The hypothesis of this study is if H0: There is a significant relationship between teacher competency on student achievement and if H1: There is no significant relationship between teacher competency and student achievement. The data collection technique carried out in this study is a questionnaire that is a list of statements given to other people who are willing to respond according to user requests and documentation to obtain existing data, namely documentation of student grades in the even semester of the 2017/2018 school year and relevant data others. Based on the results of the product moment correlation analysis, the relationship of teacher competence to the learning achievement of students of SMP Negeri 3 Takkalalla in Wajo district obtained a calculated value of -2.59. While the table is 1.66462 at a significant level of 5% and N = 80. From the results of the analysis, it can be seen that the calculated value table (-2.59 1,99085). Based on the analysis, it can be concluded that there is no relationship between teacher competency and student achievement in SMP Negeri 3 Takkalalla district Wajo 2017/2018 Academic Year
