Jurnal Sendratasik diterbitkan 4 (empat) kali pada bulan S Maret, Juni, September, dan December denganmemuat artikel / artikel penelitian di bidang musik, tari, dan drama serta pembelajarannya. Memuat teks yang dihasilkan oleh kelompok penyunting, naskah yang digunakan adalah naskah yang lolos dan tidak pernah / tidak akan pindah ke jurnal lain. Jurnal Sendratasik menerima naskah yang memberikan wawasan tentang isu-isu terkini, dan terutama berhubungan dengan studi Seni Pertunjukan dan Pembelajarannya(Seni Drama, Tari dan Musik) dengan menyebar luaskan pengetahuan di bidang-bidang yang muncul dan berkembang. Hasil riset, terdiri dari laporan ilmiah yang meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang seni secara umum, seni pertunjukan, dan pendidikan seni. Baik dalam bentuk artikel yang melaporkan hasil studi penelitian kuantitatif atau kualitatif. Artikel secara konseptual harus relevan untuk memajukan Seni Pertunjukan dan Pembelajarannya, menyajikan teori tentang seni, model, posisi filosofis, dll. Artikel juga dapat mengacu pada teori-teori ataupun materi- materi yang dikembangkan dalam praktik dan pendidikan seni pertunjukan. Bahasa naskah yang dikirimkan dalam bahasa Indonesia. Harus membahas tentang masalah serta kontribusi baru yang signifikan untuk bidang praktik dan pendidikan seni pertunjukan. Artikel dapat berasal dari salah satu bidang berikut: - Drama - Tari - Musik dan / atau Musik Tradisional - dan Pembelajarannya

Abstract

This study aims to identify and describe the values of Randai art education in the Al-Barokah Korong Rimbo Panjang Studio, Nagari Sungai Abang, Lubuk Alung District, Padang Pariaman Regency which is contained in the three elements of art in Randai namely script, motion, and music. The Randai played in the research object of the Al-Barokah studio is Randai with a script entitled Siti Baheram dari Pariaman, the values seen in this Randai are social values, ethics, and customs. This research is motivated by an interest in the Minangkabau tribe which is rich in customs and culture that regulates people's lives in a very complex manner. One of the elements of culture is art and a very interesting art in Minangkabau is Randai. According to Randai experts, apart from being an entertainment, it can also function as an educational medium. This research is qualitative by using descriptive method. The instrument in this study was the researcher himself with the help of stationery and cellphone cameras. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study reveal that social values, ethics, and customs are contained in Siti Baheram's script, movements and in Randai music.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and describe the packaging of the Kejai Dance in a Wedding Party in North Lebong Village, Bengkulu Province. This type of research is a qualitative research with descriptive method. The instruments in this study were the researchers themselves and were assisted by supporting instruments such as stationery, cameras, cellphones and flash drives. This type of data uses primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of library research, observation, interviews and documentation. The stages of data analysis are data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results show that the new Kejai Dance is a modification of the old Kejai Dance which still remains the identity of the Kejai Dance (local culture of the Rejang Region). The new packaging forms for the modified Kejai Dance include: 1) movement; 2) floor pattern; 3) dancers; 4) music; 5) costumes; 6) property; and 7) duration of appearance

Abstract

This article aims to see how the implementation of counseling services with a cross-cultural approach and counseling outreach services in non-performing arts competitions. Written by a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, data obtained from observation, documentation and interviews. Research that focuses on the implementation of counseling services at SMA Negeri 2 Padang Panjang by paying attention to the Counseling Guidance service and the extracurricular development of the Youth Counseling Information Center (PIK-R). It is found that in the socialization of counseling can be carried out by counselors and counselees with different cultural backgrounds. Students who come from certain ethnicities and religions can still get optimal service. Besides that, PIK-R's extracurricular role in realizing counseling socialization in the form of performances and art competitions, is creative and effective in achieving the objectives of counseling in general. Counseling guidance which partly has a negative stigma for students will think otherwise, if this kind of socialization is carried out continuously.

Abstract

This research has a problem regarding the formulation of "The Existence of Andun Dance in Seluma Marriage, Seluma Regency, Bengkulu Province". The purpose of this research is to describe and analyze the existence of Andun Dance in traditional wedding ceremonies in Seluma District, Seluma Regency, Bengkulu Province. This research uses descriptive qualitative analysis. Data collection techniques or through literature study, observation, interviews and documentation. The research found that the Andun Dance consists of two types, namely: (1) the Andun lelawanan dance which is danced in pairs and women by bachelors; (2) and most of the Andun Dance by many dancers have been married. Andun dancers are mostly men and women performing separately. There is a periodization of Andun dance through 2 periods, namely: (1) periodization of 2003-2015, Andun Lelawanan Dance exists more than most Andun Dances, according to the purpose of the dance presented is to seek love; (2) Periodically from 2015 to present, Andun Dance is the most widely available. In 2019, the choreography in the Andun Dance was developed which was contested. Dancers in costume from the perspective of the Andun Dance competition, where the female dancers use modern borkat kebaya, songket cloth as a skirt, and a scarf. While the clothes are boy dancer/koko, coat, trousers, gloves, and a skullcap.

Abstract

The use of traditional arts as a working medium in the creation of a musical work is one of the efforts to introduce traditional arts to "modern" people who already consider traditional arts to be out of date. So that the wealth of traditional arts can be lost in the development of the times. The process of developing Minangkabau rhythmic patterns into a musical work that suits the tastes of the community is very interesting to discuss and study. This motivates the creators to develop Minangkabau traditional music materials that can be swallowed up by the times. The process of developing rhythmic patterns includes the development of several rhythmic patterns owned by traditional Minangkabau arts which are spread in several Minangkabau areas. The type of research is qualitative research with a descriptive content analysis approach. Meanwhile, the process of High Dream's work was carried out with an expanded sound vocabulary approach, using media outside of the musical tradition itself. So that Dream High's composition seems to give birth to a distinctive new color without leaving the essence of the rhythmic patterns of Minangkabau traditional music.
