Abstract

Diets of adolescents who always skip breakfast and lunch trigger nutritional problemsin adolescence. Young women is one of the vulnerable groups that suffer from anemia. NutritionalStudies Program student DIII an example adolescent groups and also further prospectivehealth workers who would not be exposed to nutritional problems, but based on a preliminarysurvey still found in hemoglobin levels below normal, the intake of protein and iron are also low.The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of the intake of protein and iron inhemoglobin of Diploma Studies Student Nutrition Program MoH Bengkulu polytechnic 2014.The design of this cross-sectional study with random sampling method on 75 female students.The results showed no significant relationship between protein intake with hemoglobin levels (p= 0.005), in addition there is a relationship intake of iron with hemoglobin levels (p = 0.002). Theintake of protein and iron associated with hemoglobin levels significantly.

Abstract

Worm infection disease is a disease that is often overlooked because it does notdirectly cause death. One reason could be transmitted through soil, called nematoda bowels.Prevalence of worm infection Bengkulu province according to the city health departementBengkulu 2010 was 18 % - 23 % of cases occur in children of primary school age, NewKungkai village there are 41,9 % of children were infected with intestinal worms. Based onthe initial survey dated 7 February 2015, the SDN 113 New Kungkai is one of the schools thatstill have a school yard in the form of soil moist, shaded by trees, poor environmentalsanitation situation maintained that there are many scattered garbage. By mark worms 80 % ofstudents who are anemic as lethargy, pale face, weight loss, listlessness, lack of concentrationstudied, pale eyes, it is because there are many students who have not applied with goodpersonal hygiene, such as not washing hands before eating cafeteria, student habits rarely cutnails, there is still a long nail black and the students still love playing ground with no weargood footwear when out to play and at school. The purpose of this study was to determine therelationship between personal hygiene worm disease in SDN 113 New Kungkai Seluma.Design study used cross sectional. The study sampel was grade 1 to 6, amounting to 27people. Sampling technique used is propotional random sampling. Data were analyzed withunivariate an bivariate (square test with a P value α = 0,05) of 72 respondents in gettingresults 49 (68,1%) of respondents who have poor personal hygiene and 43 (59, 7%)respondents had positive worm. Bivariate analysis results showed that P = 0,001 < α = 0,05values showed no relatoinship between personal hygiene with worming with OR 95 % CI =6,330. Noteworthy health education to the students about the worms and the importance ofhealthy behavior and clean.

Abstract

Sectio Caesaria (SC) is a surgery to birth a child through an incision in theabdomen wall and uterus. The incidence of SC in Indonesia according to National SurveyData on 2007 is 22,8%. The labor case of SC in M.Yunus Hospital Bengkulu on 2011 is51,51%. 48,61% on 2012 and 47,84% on 2013. Childbirth by SC is not save alternativebecause it need special supervision of indication for SC. It need intensive monitoring untilmother indicated healthy, one of effort is Early ambulation as a wisdom for guiding patientsto get out from their bed until they can ambulation. Aim of research is known comparison ofadministration health education of early mobilitation to the patient with post operation of SCwith long day care in the hospital of Bengkulu City. Kind of research is Quasi Experiment fordetermine whether ther is a causal effect between indedendent variable and dependent variablewith compare one or more experiment groups fed with the comparison groups. Sample takenConsecutive Sampling. Population is mother of labor in intervention groups as much as 21respondents and 21 respondent for control groups. Bivariate analysis of median long day careto the mother group that administration health education of early mobilitation to the motherpost operation section caesaria as much as 3.00 with minimum value of long day care was 2and maximum value was 6.00 and average and standard deviation was 0,20. Result of MannWhitney Statistic Test showed that p=0,00 value means there was significant correlationadministration education of mobilitation to the long day care to the mother with post operationof section caesaria. Result of Multivariate Analysis together between health education ofearly mobilitation and age with long day care, it showed that p=0,00 value means there wassignificant correlation between health education of early mobilitation and age with long daycare. By controlling variable of age could prediction long day care as much as 51%.Health education of early mobilitation to the intervention groups showed that average of longday care faster than control groups. There was significant correlation between healtheducation of early mobilitation to the long day care for patient post operation section caesaria.

Abstract

Permasalahan ketenagakerjaan di Provinsi Bengkulu bahwa angka pengangguran semakinmeningkat tahun 2012 sekitar 31,1 ribu dan tahun 2013 sekitar 39,9 ribu dikarenakan lapangan pekerjaanyang tidak sebanding dengan jumlah dan keterampilan pencari kerja, sehingga perlu pelatihan. Prosespembelajaran pelatihan melibatkan aktivitas fisik, dan psikologis yang dapat menimbulkan fatigue, makadiperlukan stretching. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengidentifikasi efektifitas stretching di sela pelatihanterhadap intensitas fatigue. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi eksperimental, dengan time seriesdesign. Total sampel adalah 32 responden. Hasil penelitian adalah stretching di sela pelatihan dapatmenurunkan intensitas fatigue pada peserta pelatihan (p value=0,000). Stretching disarankan untukdigunakan peserta di sela pelatihan.

Abstract

Laboratory waste is one of the waste in a small scope that tends contained manyheavy metals and organic materials therein. The nature of the waste is very dangerous andtoxic may not directly discharged into the environment. One of the sewage treatment by usingthe method biofilter. The purpose of this research is to reduce levels of COD and BODeffluent MoH Bengkulu polytechnic chemistry laboratory methods biofilter. Type of quasiexperimental study with pre-post study design test. Waste derived from laboratory chemicalwaste. Measure the COD and BOD levels before and after treatment biofilter with fiverepetitions. Analyzed by univariate and bivariate. Given the results of research based on theanalysis of univariate no reduction in COD levels by an average of 5.448% and the percentagereduction in BOD levels decrease with the average percentage of 3.928% decline. Results ofbivariate analysis test t-Test that there are differences in the levels of COD before and aftertreatment with 0.006 significance and there are differences in levels of BOD before and aftertreatment with 0.003 significance

Abstract

With the implementation of BPJS’S programs that replace Jampersal, then patientsatisfaction from cost faktors or foundation complete. Patient Satisfaction can be also assessedfrom the age of mother, education, employment and maternal parity use BPJS’S program. Thepurpose of this observation is for description the level of mother’s satisfaction towardimplementation of BPJS’S program in all clinic of Bengkulu city. The design that use is crossecsional with all of population pregnant mother that do examination in all clinic of Bengkulucity amount 115 people’s taken with Accidental sampling technic. Level analysis of satisfactionof pregnant mother toward implementation of BPJS based on the comparison of the distributionthe patient satisfaction that look from age, education, employment and parity also statistikanalysis with Chi Square test. The result of observation was not relation between age, education,employment of pregnant mother toward implementation BPJS’S program in all clinic ofBengkulu city, while parity analysis there is relation of maternal parity toward implementationBPJS’S program in all clinic Bengkulu city. Be expected medical employment can be improveimplementation BPJS’S program start from level of primer until the level of sekunder be betterthan before.

Abstract

Hand over nursing is a way to convey and receive information related with aclient’s condition, so that the service to be provided can be justified as well as to givesatisfaction to the work performed. This study aimed to determine the relathionship betweenthe implementation nursing hand over the job satisfaction of nurses in hospital curup 2014.The study design used is descriptive method with cross sectional approach. Analyticalsamples are 79 nurses and sampling with purposive sampling proportional amples taken ineach room inpatients Curup hospital. Univariate analysis (94,9%) of nurses carrying out overhand receive and (44,1%) lower nurse job satisfaction. The results of the analysis with knownstatistical test Chi Square P value = 0,625 > 0.05 ; CI 9,5 % there is no relathionshipbetween implementation hand over accept the job satisfaction of nurses. Indicators of jobsatisfaction not only in the execution of the work, while the other factors that affect is apsychological factor, colleagues, promotion, and sallary / wages.

Abstract

Nowadays, Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) is still high in Indonesia, it is about 32 per 1.000 livebirths, and low birth weight infants accounted for 34% as the major cause (SDKI, 2012). InDr.M.Yunus hospital at Bengkulu city, cases of LBW has increased from the preceding year,approximately 391 infants (14.4%) of 2713 childbirths. The purpose of this research is known thefactors which affect average of birth weight infants in C1 Midwifery room at Dr.M.Yunus Bengkulu in2013. The study design was observational descriptive with cross-sectional method which the populationare women who delivered in the maternity room at Dr.M.Yunus hospital, and also with accidentalsampling technique which samples are 48 respondents, data were processed using univariate andbivariate. The results of statistical tests showed there are influences of those factors to affect average ofbirth weight infant in Dr.M.Yunus hospital in 2013 and long-standing is the most dominant factor. It isexpected that health workers can be provide counseling to pregnant women in order to know the risks ifthe women have a bad lifestyle (exposure to cigarette smoke, caffeine consumption, and prolongedstanding) and also set the age for pregnancy planning.

Abstract

Water is an absolute necessity for human life and other living things. But water alsoacts a medium of transmission of the disease, therefore treated water before it is consumedbeforehand to eliminate or decrease levels contaminated material to the safe levels. Many diseasaeare caused by consuming water that contain bacteria, especially bacteria Escherichia coli diarrheaexamples. The insidence of diarrhea in Indonesia population is estimated at 40-50 % per year,which occurs at age 70-80 % among toddlers. In 2012 the incidence of diarrhea in Bengkulu cityof 14.023 cases, while working in the region health center Beringin Raya Bengkulu City. Thepurpose of researchis to determine the number of Escherichia Coli in the reustaurant and themanner of presentation of drinking water as well as the source of drinking water used in therestaurant in work areaas healt center Beringin Raya Bengkulu City. The type of research methodresearch study using qualitative analtytic research with descriptive approach. Sampeles in thisstudy were 17 restaurant, analysis used univariate analisys and its tables are presented in the tableoutcome variables. The obtained test result conducted on the frequency distribution ofbacteriological quality of drinking water at restaurant in region of healt centers Beringin rayaBengkulu City based on the number of escherichia Coli is 58,82 % not eligible, 100 % how thepresentationof cups and drinking water using plastic bag, and 88,23 % drinking water sourcesusing water DAMIU. Advice to the relevan institutions to periodically conduct a review of thequality of drinking water and restaurant for releated institution recommended in order to conductthe same study thatbacteriological quality of drinking water by examinung different types ofcoliform and used more methods and meticulous advanced. In addition to further researchesconducted a study toexamine the salmonella found in drinking water.

Abstract

The results of research from the Author on November 2013 through observation usingcheck list and documentation care to the 20 persons midwife in Bengkulu City, there is 4 persons(20%) midwife who implementation of documentation care as standard. Whereas as much as 16midwives (80%) were not doing documentation care as standard. The aim of this research wasknowing the factors related to implementation of application of Midwifery Care Standards inMidwives Practice Independently in Bengkulu City 2014. This research used descriptive analyticwith Cross Sectional Approach. Population are all of the midwives who duty in Public HealthCare of Bengkulu City. Samples taken using purposive sampling method (50 respondents).Primary data collection and data analyzed univariate, bivariate and multivariate manner. Resultsof research showed that most of respondents (56%) had good education about implementation ofMidwifery Care Standards by Midwives Practice Independently, Most of respondents (66%) hadhigh motivation, most of respondents (72%) had good of supervition perception, most ofrespondents (66%) had good implementation of Midwifery Care Standards. There wascorrelation among education (π =0,026), motivation (π =0,008) supervition perception (π =0,003)with implementation of Midwifery Care. Standards Motivation factor was the most dominantfactor that affected implementation of Midwifery Care Standards by Midwives PracticeIndependently on 2014. Health Department of Bengkulu City should give instruction to all thePublic Health Care of Bengkulu City to perform documentation with guidelines of MidwiferyCare Standards.
