Abstract

Self-care behavior in diabetes mellitus patients consists of diet, exercise, drug therapy, foot care, and blood sugar monitoring. This study aims to determine the relationship between economic status and self-care behavior of type 2 diabetes mellitus patients at Puskesmas Tamamaung Makassar City. The research design used was an analytic survey with a cross sectional study approach. The sample determination was carried out by purposive sampling technique with a sample size of 41 respondents. The relationship test was performed using the Fisher Exact Test statistical test with a significance level of α <0.05. The results of this study indicate that there is no relationship between economic status and self-care behavior of type 2 diabetes mellitus patients at Puskesmas Tamamaung Makassar City (ρ = 0.219).

Abstract

Abstract

Hyperemesis is a very frequent nausea and vomiting during the first half of pregnancy. Usually nausea and vomiting begins between the late first and second periods and continues for about 14 weeks. Nausea and vomiting are usually more severe in the morning, but may continue throughout the day. This study aims to determine the relationship between hyperemesis and the occurrence of stress in pregnant women in the first trimester in the work area of ​​the parigi health center, Takkalalla sub-district, Wajo district. This study used a quantitative study using the Accidental Sampling research method, the population in this study was 101 pregnant women. The sampling technique used was accidental sampling. Data collection was obtained using a questionnaire. Analysis of the relationship using the chi square test. The results of this study indicate that there were 7 respondents (46.7%) who had experienced hyperemesis, while 6 respondents (40.0%) had experienced stress. The results of statistical tests showed that hyperemesis (p = 0.001) so it was concluded that there was a relationship between hyperemesis and stress in pregnant women in the first trimester in the work area of ​​the Parigi Public Health Center, Takkallalla District, Wajo District. Thus pregnant women who experience hyperemesis and stress during pregnancy are expected to continue to control their health .

Abstract

Dermatitis adalah kelainan kulit yang mana kulit tampak meradang dan iritasi. Beberapa jenis penyakit dermatitis selalu berhubungan dengan kulit yang bereaksi terhadap kekeringan berat, menggaruk, zat iritasi dan alergen. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis hubungan Personal Hygiene dengan Penyakit Dermatitis pada petani padi di Wilayah kerja di Puskesmas Tanjonggnge. Jenis penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan pendekatan survey analitik dengan menggunakan rancangan Cross Sectional Study dengan jumlah sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 124 sampel. Hasil penelitian didapatkan yaitu jumlah petani yang memiliki kebiasaan personal hiegene yang kurang sebanyak 99 orang (79,8 %), Jumlah petani yang mengalami dermatitis sebanyak 16 orang (12,9 %) dengan p value = 0,004 artinya ada hubungan antara personal hyegene dengan kejadian dermatitis pada masyarakat petani padi di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Tanjonge Kabupate Soppeng.

Abstract

The role of posyandu cadres is an important factor in immunization activities. In the implementation of immunization activities, the role of cadres is needed so that activities can run on a predetermined schedule, namely informing the public about the days and hours of opening of the posyandu so that people can prepare themselves to participate in posyandu activities in the surrounding area. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of the role of posyandu cadres with an increase in the number of under-five immunizations in the working area of the Palakka Health Center in Bone Regency. This type of research is a type of quantitative research using descriptive analytic with a Cross Sectional Study approach. Data collected through a questionnaire. The analysis test used the SPSS computer program, namely SPSS 22 to assess the frequency statistical data and the Chi-Square test on the Pearson bivariate variable obtained a sig value of 0.009 smaller than the 5% significance level. Based on these results it can be concluded that the hypothesis is accepted, meaning that there is a significant relationship between the role of posyandu cadres on the increase in immunization for children under five in the working area of Puskesmas Palakka, Bone Regency. The conclusion of the researchers suggests that posyandu cadres can motivate toddlers' mothers to always bring their toddlers to the posyandu to get immunizations and be diligent in making visits to community homes regarding the importance of immunizing babies and toddlers.
