Abstract

Pelvic muscle exercises (PMEs), often referred to as Kegel exercises, are a non-invasive intervention aimed at strengthening the pelvic floor muscles, which play a crucial role in various aspects of women’s reproductive and sexual health. This systematic review evaluates the impact of PMEs on the health of productive women, specifically focusing on the prevention and treatment of urinary incontinence, improvement of sexual function, and overall quality of life. A comprehensive literature search identified 20 studies that met the inclusion criteria. The review suggests that PMEs are effective in improving pelvic floor muscle strength, reducing the incidence and severity of urinary incontinence, enhancing sexual satisfaction, and improving quality of life in productive women. However, further research is needed to standardize PME protocols and assess their long-term benefits

Abstract

Epilepsy is a health problem that is both a medical problem and a social problem. This study aimed to determine the relationship between stress levels and recurrence rates in epilepsy patients at Dr Loekmonohadi Kudus Hospital. This research uses a descriptive correlation type of research, the approach method uses cross-sectional, the population in this study are all epilepsy patients and are registered in the medical record at Dr Loekmonohadi Kudus Regional Hospital in the period August 2023, there are 51 patients with a sample of 45 respondents. The measuring instrument used is the test. Spearman Rank Correlation. The results of the analysis showed a p-value of 0.094 > (α = 0.05). It can be concluded that Ha was rejected and Ho was accepted, so there is no relationship between stress levels and recurrence rates in epilepsy patients at Kudus Hospital in 2023

Abstract

The treatment period for the cancer cervix and its treatment can also cause various change physical and physiological, which can cause various problems one of which is the disturbance of sex. Cancer cervix in a manner directly affects the sexual organs, almost 50% of women with cancer cervix report dysfunction sexual. Dysfunction sexual This can be felt only by women just or women with a partner. Study This aim to see the aspect of sexuality specifically for patients with cancer cervix, based on a change in physical and psychological consequences of the disease and its treatment. This study used a phenomenological hermeneutic method, data collection was carried out using semi-structured interviews which were then transcribed. Data analysis using content analysis or content analysis. Research results obtained three themes namely: problem physical problems psychologically, the efforts made to overcome the problem with sex, and hope patience. Deep conclusions study this patient’s cancer cervix experience problem sexual dysfunction and need maintenance holistically.

Abstract

This systematic review explores the challenges and accommodations necessary for stoma patients practicing Islamic worship, focusing on ritual purity (tahara) and prayer (salat). The review synthesizes findings from recent studies to identify effective strategies for healthcare providers to support Muslim stoma patients. The analysis includes religious guidance, patient perspectives, and practical recommendations for managing stoma care in the context of Islamic rituals. The findings highlight the importance of culturally sensitive care and suggest specific modifications to enhance the religious and spiritual well-being of Muslim stoma patients

Abstract

Childbirth pain is one of the most intense forms of pain that women experience, and its management is critical to both maternal and fetal well-being. Around the world, different methods of pain relief are used, ranging from non-pharmacological approaches to advanced medical interventions. This systematic review aims to examine the various pain management strategies employed globally, their effectiveness, and the disparities in access to these methods. It discusses both pharmacological and non-pharmacological approaches while highlighting the influence of cultural, healthcare, and infrastructural factors on pain management during labor.

Abstract

Pediatric incontinence is a significant concern affecting children's physical, psychological, and social well-being. Exercise interventions, particularly pelvic floor muscle training (PFMT), have been proposed as effective treatments for managing this condition. This systematic review aims to evaluate the effectiveness of exercise interventions in treating pediatric incontinence. A comprehensive search was conducted across multiple databases, resulting in the inclusion of 12 studies that met the criteria. The results indicate that exercise interventions, especially PFMT, significantly reduce incontinence episodes and improve quality of life in children. However, further research is needed to establish standardized protocols and evaluate long-term outcomes.
