Abstract

The music composition "Impressioniss Unggan" through the construction of musical material, issued an "impression" of the result of the merger of the original rhythm and tone of the music Calempong Unggan in modern musical harmony system vertically and horozintal. Then the musical understanding detected and understood due to phsikoakustik analysis or any listener to hear the music thoroughly enters into the depths of music. The aim of the Impressionists was to "explain the music, not to describe the music, not for reflection object but an emotional reaction to the object. Also interpret impressions through search found from reality". Abstract

Orang Rimba is classical, one-part composition for orchestra, inspired by Orang Rimba’s tradition and characteristic style of life. Melangun is an obligation to move from one place to another in a case of serious threat or death one of the tribe members. Development of knowledge, technology and constantly growing human needs affect the Orang Rimba’s life cycle. Abstract

Imperatives  politeness strategy are nessecary in the process of teaching and learning, particularly in the English language teaching. In the process of teaching and learning expected lecturer is able to establish communication with the good atmosphere to create in order for the communicative and knowledge transferring can also be well received. But the fact that of the real presence yet shows the synchronization relationships between lecturer and students in the classroom. This is impacting on the quality of the process and learning outcomes of the students. Therefore, the politeness imperatives strategy is done to get data and information can be used as consideration and appropriate strategies that improve the quality of teaching and learning.  So that teaching can be obtained for purposes of the maximum, especially in the teaching of the language of the collage student at Dharmasraya.Data collection is done using non participant observation method the method. In this research, the method refers to the use of the imperative acts both in language teaching. Then, the technique used is the participant  technique and basic technique  is sadap technique. Data analysis is used pragmatic method of indeterminate become a partner between collage students and lecturer. The results showed that the strategy of politeness applied in language teaching, especially in the college students semester 2 PGSD FKIP Department courses at the Indonesia Dharmas University is politeness strategy the context in which the context of the follow up politeness is imperative in the form of said force, invite, sent, urging, pleading, suggest, and ruled with the discovery of three of the four functions of the language according to the Leech (1993:164) competitive, konvivial, and collaborative. However, the function of language that is often used is a function collaborative language. Abstract

Sebuah karya sastra mengenai warna lokal Minangkabau akan memperlihatkan setiap atau sebagian dari unsur masyarakat Minangkabau. Karya sastra prosa, seperti kumpulan cerpen yang memuat unsur lokalitas Minangkabau sedikit banyaknya memiliki muatan tentang persoalan sistem kemasyarakatan di Minangkabau. Sekurang-kurangnya, ada sikap dan cara pandang masyarakat setempat yang tergambar melalui penokohan atau latar cerita. Di antara persoalan keminangkabauan tersebut, terdapat beberapa hal lain, di antaranya kehidupan keluarga matrilineal yang besar, kehadiran mamak dengan tugasnya yang khusus dalam kehidupan suatu keluarga, bapak yang diabaikan (sebagai tamu), dan keinginan untuk merantau. Beberapa hal tersebut hadir dalam teks sastra mutakhir melalui polemik. Kehadiran beberapa unsur tertentu dalam karya sastra mutakhir memungkinkan adanya tegangan dan hubungan dengan realitas sosial, seperti sikap dan cara pandang. Unsur yang memungkinkan adanya tegangan dan hubungan dengan realitas sosial itu bukanlah suatu hal yang negatif dalam teks sastra. Justru, inilah yang memungkinkan terbentuknya kesan estetika. Pengarang yang menulis karya sastra berwarna lokal yang hadir dalam konteks kekinian, memiliki kesosialan dalam bentuk lain melalui unsur imajinatif dan proses kreatifnya. Hubungan unsur tersebut dengan realitas sosial tidak terbatas pada hal-hal yang bertanggung jawab untuk membentuk suatu pandangan dunia, unsur imajinatif dan kreatif dari penulisnya saja, tetapi juga kepada reaksi penulis atau tanggapan penulis terhadap kejadian yang terjadi di sekitarnya. Sementara, tugas penulis sastra yang berwarna lokal dalam sastra mutakhir menciptakan style baru guna menciptakan dunia sendiri dalam teks sastra. Setiap style menyarankan suatu interpretasi tertentu dari seorang pengarang.  Kata kunci: warna, lokal, Minangkabau, kesosialan, pengarang
