Abstract

From the results of this study found that based on the Growth analysis, overall sector field effort in the Regency Boven Digoel period 2007-2011 has a positive growth except Electricity and Clean Water sector have negative growth in 2010 are registration-7,11 and on the Financial, Rent, and Business Services sektor in 2011 as much as -20,07. Sector base / superior sectors (LQ>1) based on analysis Location Quotient (LQ) namely the Agricultural sector, Industry Processing sector, and Building sector. Through analysis Shift Share classic known sector that have the skills competitive namely Mining and Quarrying sector, Electricity and Clean Water sector, Building sector, Trade, Hotels and Restaurants sector, and Financial, Rent, and Business Service sector. Abstract

Effect of Motor Vehicle Tax Revenues on Regional Original Revenues in Merauke This study aims to analyze the effect of motor vehicle tax revenue on regional original income in Merauke by using quantitative data analysis with data analysis techniques used namely simple regression analysis to analyze the influence between independent variables (X) on the dependent variable (Y) with the help of ibm programs. Based on the results of data analysis and hypothesis testing described in the previous chapters, it is concluded that motor vehicle tax has an effect on and significant on regional original income, which means that there is an increase in motorized vehicle tax revenues that have a direct impact on increasing regional original income in Merauke. Abstract

The village has the authority to manage the existing potential for public welfare. So that the village government can form economic institutions, namely Village Owned Enterprises (BUMK). Kampung Wogekel has marine and swamp fisheries resources. The study uses a PRA approach based on community participation with SWOT analysis. The results of this study found: Strength Aspects namely 1). Sufficient labor is available, 2). The productive age potential of coastal communities, 3). Natural resources are very available, 4). Public facilities such as ports, Pertamina logistics, banking institutions, 5). Fishing boats belonging to the village. Weakness aspects are: 1). Weak capital, 2). Fisheries business technology is still simple, 3). Electricity, ice factories and shelters and storage vessels, 4). Limited access to marketing, 5). Community culture that does not have entrepreneurial spirit. Opportunity Aspect: 1). Job opportunities, 2). Natural resources have not been fully utilized, 3). Authority to establish BUMK, 4). Government support. Threat aspects, namely: 1) Low fish prices, 2). Weather and bad season, 3). There is still massive fishing to only take bubbles and also illegal fishing, 4). Central government regulation of the moratorium has not been revoked. So that the potential business sector is a fish shelter business. While alternative businesses are salted fish, coarse salt, nine household basic needs, tubers and crabs. Keywords: Development, economic institutions, entrepreneurship

Abstract

Base on the Village Law No. 6 of 2014 concerning Village, namely villages have the right, authority and obligation to regulate and manage their own government affairs and community interests based on their rights of origin and local customs. In this authority, the village provides services to the community and conducts community empowerment. Sota village is a border region with Papua New Guinea. The location of Kampung Sota is relatively close to the seafront of the city of Merauke, has a population of 1,270 in 2014 and the resources of forests, rivers and swamps. This research use Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) approach and SWOT analysis. The results of the study found: Strength Aspects namely 1). Raw materials are easily available, 2). Strategic business location, 3). Product prices begin to increase, 4). The products produced are export products, 5). Availability of Village Land, 6). Commitment from the village government. Weakness aspects are: 1). The lack of business capital, small production quantity, 2). Transportation for raw materials, 3). Unattractive packaging, 4). Cooperatives in the village are controlled by individuals / traditional leaders who control the local land. Opportunity Aspect namely 1). Products that have a prospective market share, 2). Production capacity can be reproduced, 3). Increased consumer needs and public awareness to use local products, 4). Development of technology and information, 5). Additional workforce. Threat aspects, namely: 1). Still depends on the rainy and dry seasons, 2). Increased bargaining position of raw material suppliers, 3). The emergence of new competitors, 4). Government regulations on National Parks. So that the type of potential business that can be developed is the management of eucalyptus oil. Abstract

Social Overhead Capital and Society Prosperity in Development Region of South Part of Papua Province. This Research aim to explain the development of road infrastructure, air and sea transportation infrastructure, economic infrastructure, agriculture infrastructure, education infrastructure, and health infrastructure which have shown the vary pictures to improve society prosperity and economic growth. This research use quantitative approach within descriptive analysis method. The analysed data is the secondary of time series data by the year 2005-2014. The source of seconcary data is the infrastructure development data within their indicators in BPS of four regency of Papua Province. Result of research indicate that road infrastructure, air and sea transportation infrastructure, agriculture infrastructure with irrigation channel indicator, economic infrastructure within traditional market indicator, and education infrastructure have shown positive effect to society prosperity, but do not show the positive effect to economics growth. Health infrastructure have shown the positive effect to society prosperity. Economic growth do not show the positive effect to society prosperity.
