Abstract

The research aims to analyse whether the labour, infrastructure and Percapita income factors influence industrial investments in Merauke District in 2001-2017. The data used in this study is secondary data. The method of collecting data using secondary data from the official data is issued by the Department of Migration and Employment of Merauke District and the official data from the Central Statistics agency of Merauke District. For data processing is done using SPSS 21 program. The results of this research show that labor variables, infrastructure, and per capita income simultaneously affect the value of industrial investment. The result of the coefficient of determination (R²) 25.6% showed that labor, infrastructure, and per capita income variables had no significant effect on increasing industrial investments. The results of this study also showed that the infrastructure variables were influential for the change in the value of industrial investments in Merauke district but the influence gained only on the level of 10% of its siknification. Abstract

Sota Village has an unique attraction as a cross border tourism between Indonesia and Papua New Guinea and has become the favorite destination in Merauke Regency. This study aims to find and prove the determinant factors of cross border tourism to improve the welfare of local residents in Sota Village, Sota District, Merauke Regency. The type of research used is a qualitative approach by expolarizing information on field data and literature so that data can describe the events that take place factually, systematically and accurately. The results of the study found that cross border tourism has made a positive contribution in supporting the regional economy, business sectors related to the tourism industry sector have increased income, distribution of basic needs, expansion of economies of scale. In addition, infrastructure and other supporting facilities, the community has felt the benefits such as the ease and smooth flow of human and goods mobilization. However, the indigenous people of the Kanum Tribe are still very limited and have not had much direct impact on their welfare. Because they are still very few who are directly involved in business activities related to tourism such as: food businesses, trade, even cultural arts, crafts and so on. Several causes are the quality of human resources is still low, lack of the spirit of entrepreneurship, awareness of the role of the tourism industry sector for economic life. So that the attention of the cultural values ​​and customs of the Kanum Tribe as a native population has not been widely appointed as one of the tourist advantages. Abstract

The research aimed to observe the impact before and after the increase in soybean prices to income and business feasibility and Tahu in the District of Merauke. Data obtained are primary and secondary data. Total population in the research of 5 respondents Home Industry Tahuand tempeh with the sampling technique is done with all the amount of the census population sampled. The basic method used to see earnings before and after the increase in soybean prices are observation, interviewing, writing, and analysis of quantitative and qualitative descriptive hereinafter the next with the data analysis stage in the form of analysis of revenue and efficient level analysis Revenue Cost Ratio. The research result indicate that there is a price increase impact on revenues Home Industry soybean,Tahu and Tempe in the District of Merauke, while the impact contained in input factor prices, industry costs, the price of Tahu and tempeh, revenue growth entrepreneurs Tahu and tempeh. Abstract

As a developing country, economic growth is an output formed by various economic sectors so that it can describle the development or the decline of economic sector in certain time period. Thes study aims to describe the direct an indirect effect government expenditure and investment on the economic growth through regional competitivnes in all provinces in eastern Indonesia. The research used government expenditure, domestic investment (PMDN), regional competitiveness, and economic growth as the date. The were used to describe the influence of dependent variabel (government expenditure, and investment) on the independent variabel (economic growth) and intervening variable (regional competitiveness). The results show that there is a positive and significant direct influence of government expenditure (x1) on economic growth (y2), and there is a positive and significant direct influence of investment (x2) on economic growth (y2). However in terms of the indirect influence of government expenditure and investment on economic growth through regional competitiveness, there is no significant effect. It can be concluded that government expenditure and investment can directly influence economic growth positively and significantly. However, there is no significant indirect impact of government expenditure and investment on economic growth through regional competitiveness. Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of allocation of special Autonomy Fund in Education, special autonomy Fund in health education and special autonomy fund in the field of infrastructure education to economic growth directly or indirectly through the human development index in Merauke Regency. The type of data used is data time series and data collection is done by the documentation method. Data was analyzed using the simultaneous equation model approach with the help of SPSS Amos 21 software. The results showed that the special Autonomy fund variable has been positively significant to the economic growth directly, indirectly through the human development Index of Special Autonomy Fund fields Education is not significant to economic growth. Health special Autonomy fund variables and special autonomy fund infrastructure areas are directly significant to economic growth. Meanwhile, indirectly through human development index a variable of special autonomy fund in Health and Special Autonomy fund areas of infrastructure are positively significant to the economic growth Key words: Special autonomy, human development index, economic growth
