Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of adding Moringa leaves to the nutritional content and acceptability of panelists on tempeh meatballs. This research is an experimental study using a completely randomized design (CRD) with the concentration of addition of Moringa leaves 2%, 4% and 6%. Observation parameters; Water content, ash content, protein, fat, carbohydrate, calcium, beta-carotene, with a panelist test of color, texture, taste and aroma. The results showed that the best treatment was aimed at the treatment of adding 4% Moringa leaves to the panelists in terms of color, texture, taste and aroma with moisture content 65.21%, ash content 1.59%, protein content 9.46%, fat content 0.88%, carbohydrate content 24.19%, 890 mg calcium levels, and beta-carotene levels 756 µg/g and meet quality standard requirements (SNI 01-3818-1995).

Abstract

Dodol is a traditional food that is quite popular in several regions in Indonesia. Dodol is one of  agricultural products the processed which is included in the type of food that has a rather wet nature. One of the difficulties in processing dodol is the stirring process which takes a long time and must be carried out continuously. Therefore, research on dodol stirrer is needed so that it can simplify the dodol stirring process. This study aims to determine the mechanism of modification stirrer dodol household scale industrial stirrers and effective and efficient work method. The form of this research is tool modification. The research data was obtained from the results of a comparison testing of dodol manually and using the dodol stirrer. The parameters tested in this study are the weight of the material processed and the time needed to proces dodol. Data analysis techniques are carried out quantitatively with descriptive statistics. The results showed that the effectiveness of dodol making using the dodol stirrer machine was 24 grams / minute and the efficiency of the dodol production obtained was 67.8%.

Abstract

This study aims to design a time-based automatic control irrigation system that can minimize the use of water in plant cultivation, and can meet the needs (supply) of plants according to the water needed. This research uses research and development methods (R & D), the results are analyzed using quantitative data analysis and descriptive statistics, the The design of time-based drip irrigation equipment uses a microcontroller through several mechanisms including frame making  the installation of material components and the manufacture of microcontroller systems, the installation components and inputting language programs on microcontroller systems can be used effectively and efficiently if used by manual watering by humans.
