Abstract

Adult people interested to have a marriage relationship. Marriage functions as a social control and a system which enable person to fulfill their needs, such as psychological, sexual, having children, and material (Papalia, Olds, Feldman, 2001). Marriage that can not fulfill such functions makes couple having a conflict and perhaps divorcement. Marriage readiness becomes a crucial factor to build a qualified marriage. Marriage readiness is the ability of a person to take their new roles, as a husband or wife.One of a process to step on marriage is called ta’aruf. The terms ta’aruf is an Arabic Language meaning knowing each other. In this field, ta’aruf is using as a reciprocal communication to knowing each other due to marriage (Hidayat, 2002). In ta’aruf, the couple can meet accompanying with someone they both can trust. Another way is using a media such as telephone or internet. Then they can continue their relationship seriously but still with accompanying of the third party. This is a quantitative field using questionnaire, interview, and observation method. The questionnaire is using MIKM-Text Revised consists of 76 items which measures eight domains. The participant is a young adulthood women which still doing a ta’aruf process and will marry for the first time in the next six months. The purpose of the field is to test the validity and the reliability of MIKM-TR, picturing of marriage readiness women doing ta’aruf process, and deeply interview their marriage readiness personally.Keywords: marriage readiness, ta’aruf process, women.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine increase of students self adjutsment using group counseling. The problem of this study is low self adjustment in student. Method used quasi-experimental research one-group pretest-posttest design. Subjects were six students who have a low self adjustment. Technique to gain the data is by using study sosiometri, scale self adjustment and interview. Result shows that studens’ self adjustment can be enhanced by using group counseling, as evidenced from the analysis of the data by using Wilcoxon test different, from the pretest and posttest results Obtained Zoutput Ztabel (-2201 0) then Ha is accepted, it means that self adjustment can be enhanced by using group counseling services.Conclusion of this research is self adjustment can increase by using counselling group.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui peningkatan penyesuaian diri  menggunakan layanan konseling kelompok. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini eksperimen semu dengan one-group pretest-posttest design. Subjek penelitian sebanyak enam siswa yang memiliki penyesuaian diri rendah. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini menggunakan Sosiometri, Skala Penyesuaian diri dan Wawancara.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penyesuaian diri siswa dapat ditingkatkan menggunakan konseling kelompok, terbukti dari hasil analisis data menggunakan uji beda wilcoxon, dari hasil pretest dan posttest diperoleh zoutput ztabel(-2,201 0) maka Ha diterima, artinya penyesuaian diri siswa dapat ditingkatkan dengan menggunakan layanan konseling kelompok.Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah penyesuaian diri dapat ditingkatkan dengan menggunakan layanan konseling kelompok. Kata kunci : bimbingan konseling, konseling kelompok, penyesuaian diri

Abstract

The purpose of this study to determine the increase of in social adjustment at school that using assertive training technique.The method that is used in this study with a quasi-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design.Subjects of the study of the six students who have a low social adjustment at school. Technique in gained the data of this research is by using scale social adjustment at school. The Result shows that the students’ social adjustment at school can increase by usingassertive training technique, as evidenced from the analysis of the data by using the Wilcoxon test different, from the pretest and posttest results Obtained Zoutput Ztabel (-22070) then Ha is accepted,  it means that  social adjustment at school can increase by using assertive training technique. Conclusion of this research is social adjustment at school can increase by using assertive training technique of the students grade X SMAN 1 Tumijajar year of 2012/2013. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui peningkatan penyesuaian sosial siswa di sekolah dengan menggunakan tehnik assertive training.Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini quasi eksperimen dengan one-group pretest-posttest design.Subjek dalam penelitian sebanyak enam siswa yang memiliki penyesuaian sosial di sekolah rendah.Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Skala penyesuaian sosial di sekolah.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penyesuaian sosial di sekolah dapat ditingkatkan dengan menggunakan tehnik assertive training, terbukti dari hasil analisis data menggunakan uji beda wilcoxon, dari hasil pretest dan posttest diperoleh zoutput ztabel(-2,207 0) maka Ha diterima,yang artinya penyesuaian sosial di sekolah dapat ditingkatkan dengan menggunakan tehnik assertive training. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah penyesuaian sosial di sekolah dapat ditingkatkan dengan menggunakan tehnik assertive training pada siswa kelas X SMA N 1 Tumijajar Tahun Pelajaran 2012/2013.kata kunci : bimbingan dan konseling, penyesuaian sosial di sekolah, tehnik assertive training.
