Abstract

This research focuses on evaluating Senayan library management system (Slims) application software in the Lancang Kuning University environment using the ISO 9126.1 Usability approach. Research related to evaluation or application quality testing has been done a lot but for the evaluation of slims software in the Lancang Kuning University environment has never been done. In this research the method used is descriptive quantitative. With the method of collecting observation data, distributing questionnaires, and interviews. The sample in this study were 7 respondents from different libraries who used the slims application. Data analysis was performed using a Likert scale percentage formula. The results of this study indicate that based on the percentage of data using ISO 9126.1 usability on each attribute, namely Understandability with a percentage value of 116 predicate strongly agree, Learnability with a percentage value of 137 predicate agree, Opportunity with a value of 349 predicate strongly agree, Attactiveness with a value of 115 predicate strongly agree, and Usability Compliance with a rating of 115 is very much in agreement. From the results explained above, it can be concluded that Slims meet ISO 9126.1 usability standards.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul etika informasi dalam dokumen kerahasiaan rekod medis di Puskesmas Biak Muli Aceh Tenggara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana etika informasi rekam medis di dalam kerahasiaan dokumen rekod medis di Puskesmas Biak Muli Aceh Tenggara. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif yang menghasilkan data deskriptif. Teknik langkah-langkah dalam pengumpulan data melalui studi kepustakaan, wawancara, dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, etika informasi yang diterapkan oleh petugas rekod medis di dalam dokumen pelaksana medis di Puskesmas Biak Muli Kabupaten Aceh Tenggara belum diterapkan dengan baik. Begitu juga dengan privasi pasien yang ada dokumen rekod medis belum dijaga kerahasiannya dengan baik oleh petugas rekod medis..

Abstract

This study analyzes the needs of users' collections through the development of collections conducted by the Batusangkar IAIN library. This research is a case study conducted using the description method that illustrates the implementation and obstacles faced by the library, there is a collection development analysis activity according to user needs. the benchmarks in this research are study materials or strategies that will be applied for the future by improving the present situation. This study provides findings that activities and evaluations must be carried out on all planning processes with in-depth analysis of the needs of the visitors. This situation causes the librarians to be confused to develop a collection of books so that they cannot determine the type of collection that is needed by the user. More in-depth analysis activities by auditing information and interviews with users are needed for library development.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the management of static archives in the South Sumatra Archives Service. The research method used is a qualitative approach using a survey design type to obtain  valid data by conducting observations and  interviews directly to the speakers and  the results using descriptive analysis. Management of static records carried out at the South Sumatra Archives Service covers the activities of collecting static records, acquisition of static records, archival search lists (DPA), management of static records, maintenance of static records, access or static archive retrieval systems and archival information systems. In the management of static records carried out at the South Sumatra Archives Service, it is quite good, but it is still constrained by human resources, funds and lack of awareness of agencies under the archives service that must submit static records that have a use and historical value so that this becomes one of the obstacles in managing records in the South Sumatra Regional Archives Service.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of library collections on student visits to the Faculty of Forestry Library of the University of Lancang Kuning. Type This research uses descriptive that is by collecting data obtained from respondents from the results of questionnaire answers and then the data tabulated. Sample determination was done by random sampling. While the data collection is done by survey method with questionnaire as collector of research data. The result of the research shows that the factors that influence the student visit to the library of Faculty of Forestry of the University of Lancang Kuning are Man Power (97.14%), Library Collection (92.86%), Building and Library Facility (91,43%).

Abstract

ABSTRACT The discussion of this article is about the acquisition of library materials with a study study at the Yogyakarta Film Academy Library. The purpose of this determination is to determine the acquisition of library materials in the library. The method used in this research is a qualitative method. Qualitative methods focus attention to a variety of methods, using triangulation methods that reflect efforts to gain a deep understanding of the phenomenon under study. The results of this study indicate that the acquisition or procurement of library materials carried out by the Yogyakarta Film Academy library carries out acquisition activities using the process of buying, giving or gifts, and cooperation. The three acquisition activities are considered effective to increase the collection in the library. It is suggested that the process of library material acquisition activities be further improved in terms of purchasing, gifts, and cooperation. Collaboration that is not limited to university libraries, public libraries or other related institutions. There is still a lot of work and library material acquisition activities that have not been carried out by the Yogyakarta Film Academy libraries, such as exchanges, deposits, and self-publishing. Keywords: Acquisition, Library material, Collection development, Library ABSTRAK Pembahasan artikel ini adalah mengenai akuisisi bahan pustaka dengan studi kajian pada Perpustakaan Akademi Film Yogyakarta. Tujuan dari penetian ini yakni guna mengetahui kegiatan akusisi bahan pustaka di perpustakaan. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini merupakan metode kualitatif. Metode kualitatif berfokus perhatian kepada berbagai macam metode, penggunaan metode triangulasi yang mencerminkan upaya guna memperoleh pemahaman yang  mendalam terhadap suatu fenomena yang diteliti. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan akuisisi atau pengadaan bahan pustaka yang dilakukan oleh perpustakaan Akademi Film Yogyakarta melakukan kegiatan akuisisi dengan menggunakan proses pembelian, pemberian atau hadiah, serta kerjasama. Ketiga kegiatan akuisisi tersebut dinilai efektif untuk memperbanyak koleksi pada perpustakaan. Disarankan agar proses kegiatan akuisisi bahan pustaka lebih ditingkatkan dari sisi pembelian, hadiah, dan kerjasama. Kerjasama yang tidak terbatas kepada perpustakaan perguruan tinggi, perpustakaan umum ataupun lembaga-lembaga lain yang terkait. Masih banyak pekerjaan serta kegiatan akuisisi bahan pustaka yang belum dilakukan oleh perpustakaan Akademi Film Yogyakarta seperti tukar menukar, titipan, dan terbitan sendiri. Kata Kunci: Akuisisi, Bahan Pustaka, Pengembangan Koleksi, Perpustakaan

Abstract

This research was conducted at the Office of the Civil Population and Recording Office of Sibolga City, the purpose of this research is to find out about the management of vital archives. The study used a type of internal evaluation. The type of research used is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The data collection techniques used in this study are interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The results showed that the management of vital archives conducted at the Office of the Civil Population and Recording Office of Sibolga City has not been in accordance with PERKA ANRI No. 49 of 2015 on the Guidelines of the Vital Archives Program in the Environment of the National Archives of the Republic of Indonesia. Identification is done by looking at the nature and subject matter of the document. Documents that include vital archives are resident files, staffing files, financial files, and correspondence of an important nature. Vital archive setup is done in 4 ways, namely inspection, index determination, labeling, and placement of archives. Sibolga City Civil Registry and Population Office does not have a list of vital records. No method of protection and physical security of vital archives is carried out. For electronic files vital archives in the form of resident files are carried out protection and security by using SIAK application. No method of physical rescue and recovery of vital archives is damaged or destroyed, but the electorate files of populated files stored in the SIAK application can be reprinted.

Abstract

The condition of the Covid-19 pandemic, which has not ended yet, continues to demand that everyone innovate so that they can carry out their activities as before by prioritizing health. All types of activities in society are hampered, such as the economic, education, government, and even public services sectors, including information institutions or library institutions. This research and scientific writing aims to explain how libraries can continue to adapt even in the midst of a pandemic by producing a new form of service or innovation in library services to continue providing services to the community and explaining what challenges or obstacles are experienced during the adjustment period at the Archive Office and Subang Regency Regional Library. This research was conducted using descriptive qualitative methods with the process of collecting data through field observations. Interviews, and literature study. The results showed that the innovation carried out was by developing services in digital form and still operating with limited visitors by quarantining books that were used by users. In these development activities, the main challenges were encountered, namely the low reading interest of the community, limited development budgets, and the availability of competent human resources. In conclusion, innovation is the key for the Regency Archives and Library Service in improving services amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mencari tahu metode pengadaan koleksi di perpustakaan. Artikel ini berjenis penelitian sekunder dengan model kajian pustaka. Untuk instrumen pengambilan data menggunakan review atau kajian dokumen. Adapun dokumen yang digunakan sebagai sumber kajian ialah beberapa laporan praktik kerja lapangan dan jurnal internasional. Data dianalisis menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Ada beberapa metode perpustakaan untuk mengadakan koleksi. Tergantung bagaimana kemampuan perpustakaan itu dan juga kemampuan pustakawannya. Di antaranya ialah melalui pembelian, hadiah, tukar menukar, pinjaman. Metode lain yang bisa digunakan ialah membeli kepada perpustakaan atau lembaga lain yang menjual koleksi hasil penyiangan, mengajukan permintaan kepada situs online penyedia buku gratis, melakukan tukar menukar dengan koleksi yang telah dilakukan duplikat, serta meminjam koleksi dengan syarat yang mudah. Dalam melakukan semua metode hal yang sangat penting untuk dilakukan ialah pihak perpustakaan beserta pejabat institusi terkait harus aktif dalam melakukan promosi perpustakaanya kepada masyarakat luas.Kata Kunci: Metode pengadaan koleksi; Pembelian; Hadiah; Tukar menukar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana tingkat kebermanfaatan Perpustakaan Digital Fakultas Teknik Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi pemustaka menggunakan pendekatan usability testing. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan subjek penelitian pemustaka Perpustakaan Fakultas Teknik UGM yang menggunakan bahan informasi digital dan objek penelitian adalah kemanfaatan perpustakaan digital Fakultas Teknik UGM dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi pemustaka. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini adalah kuesioner, wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh civitas akademik Fakultas Teknik UGM yang berstatus sebagai mahasiswa dengan jumlah 12.666 orang. Dari populasi tersebut diambil sampel berdasar rumus slovin, dan didapat sampel sebanyak 100 responden. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah pusposive sampling. Variabel dalam penelitian ini bersifat tunggal yaitu kebermanfaatan Perpustakaan Digital Fakultas Teknik UGM  dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi pemustaka. Pengukuran kemanfaatan perpustakaan digital yang digunakan berdasarkan dimensi Usability Testing menurut ISO 9241-11 yang terdiri dari tiga komponen yaitu efektivitas (effectiveness), efisiensi (efficiency) dan kepuasan (satisfaction). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keseluruhan nilai rata-rata dari ketiga indikator yang dihitung menggunakan rumus Mean dan Grand Mean diperoleh hasil sebesar 3,042 sehingga dapat dikategorikan baik. Adapun rincian untuk masing-masing indikator yaitu untuk indikator efektivitas (effectiveness) sebesar 3,045 dan dikategorikan baik, indikator efisiensi (efficiency) sebesar 3,131 dan dikategorikan baik, dan indikator kepuasan (satisfaction) sebesar 2,951 dan dikategorikan baik. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan menggunakan rumus skala interval tersebut dapat diketahui bahwa kemanfaatan Perpustakaan Digital dalam pemenuhan kebutihan informasi pemustaka menggunakan pendekatan usability testing sudah tergolong baik. Hasil penelitian memberikan rekomendasi kepada Perpustakaan Fakultas Teknik UGM untuk menyediakan dan mempromosikan bahan informasi digital agar pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi pemustaka dapat lebih dimaksimalkan.Kata Kunci: Perpustakaan Digital; Usability Testing
