Abstract

The aim of the research content three part, thus a to know misclassification and model discriminant analysis with bootstrap approach, model regression ordinal with bootstrap approach, and model MARS with bootstrap approach. The data used is data of secondary related to matrix variance covariance is same and unequal that is (The data worker standard of living and banking performance). The result of this research shows that in determining distinguishing variable between groups there are difference of variable at each method. This matter because of at each method has specification either from fulfilled of assumption and also estimation its. So also at accuracy of classification between groups there is difference especially at matrix of variance covariance unequal at worker standard of living case. As a whole can be concluded that the problem accuracy of classification bootstrap approach at each method give small mistake of goodness at matrix variance covariance unequal and equal. Keywords: classification, bootstrap, discriminant analysis, ordinal regression, MARS.

Abstract

The influence of Nd substitutions for Ca on formation of 2223 phase in the superconductors (Bi,Pb)-Sr-Ca-Cu-O system : (Bi1.4Pb0.6)Sr2(Ca2-xNdx)Cu3O10+δ has been studied. Samples were made by solid state reaction methods, with sintering temperature at 860oC for 40 hours continuously in air atmosphere. From the XRD characterization it is revealed that the samples are poly crystals and the volume fraction of Bi-2223 phase is less than 45%. All of samples show Meissner effect weakly on 77 K, which is indicate that in the samples has formed few superconducting high-Tc phase. This result is in accords with of the resistivity as function of temperature measurement, show that the Tcon-set at 88 K - 107 K, which is range of the critical temperature (Tc) of the Bi-2212 phase and Bi-2223 phase.

Abstract

Urinary tract infection represent one of nosocomial infection in hospital. One of agent nosocomial urinary tract infection is Proteus mirabilis bacteria and common occur on patient with urinary catheter. Urinary tract infection with caused by P. mirabilis was persistent, very difficult to eradicated. Further more is caused some complication such as cystitis, acut and cronic pyelonephritis, kidney bladder stone, bacterimiae and sepsis. This bacteriae has same virulence factors. Fimbriae is one of it. In the adhesion test utilization of protein hemaglutinin pili 35.2 kDa resulted in the electroelusion which salluted in vesica urinaria epitelial by dose 400μl , 200μl, 100μl, 50μl, 25μl, 12,5μl and 0μl as control. Form adhesion test on vesica urinary epitelial that salluted with 35.2kDa protein pili we faund that the higher dose of protein can decrease bacteriae consentration at vesica urinary epitelial. This result was significant with r= 0.93 and p value = 0.005. This conclusion of this study is 35.2 kDa molecular weight protein pili of P. mirabilis P355 were adhesion protein. Keywords : hemaglutinin, pili, Proteus mirabilis, adhesin

Abstract

The objective of this research was to study the blood protein polymorphism of gurami (Osphronemus gouramy Lac). Blood sample were collected from 55 gurami. Polyaacrilamide Gel Electrophoresis (PAGE) was used in the blood plasm protein analysis. Identification of protein bands on gel are determinated by comparing the molecul weight of those test group protein with the marker protein. The result showed that the locus albumin, pre-albumin and transferin are polymorphic. Locus albumin, pre-albumin and transferin are controlled by three alleles ie A, B and C. The total heterozygozity of gurami is 52 %.

Abstract

Experiment in laboratory scale has been carried out to study population dynamic of the bacterial hydrocarbonoclastic consorsium in the crude oil sludge degradation being mixed with NPK fertilizer as nitrogen resources. Aerobic test was carried out by putting erlenmeyers in a shaker incubator, 120 rpm shaking speed, at 50°C temperature. During15 days in laboratory scale observation showed that the consortium has the potential to grow up to 50% (v/v) sludge oil load. Maximum growth and maximum growth rate of the consortium in liquid media occurred in the III C treatment (by adding 50% (v/v) sludge oil and by mixing nitrogen in the form of NPK fertilizer amounting 30% (w/v) of added substrat. At the end of the study 7 species of bacteria were identified, 5 of them are of Bacillus sp, which are aerobical. During degradation process, consorsium growths fluctuativelly. There is spesific process to degrade complex substrat by consortium bacteria.. Specifically, this experiment informs that bacterial consortium degradator of crude oil sludge are more efective than monoculture bacterial. Crude oil consists of complex hydrocarbon, in the other hand for each spesies bacteria has spesific enzyme which work on spesific substrat. They only have limited ability. Each bacteria of its corsorsium has dominated the consorsium which is able to use hydrocarbon fraction.

Abstract

Extraction of kayu kuning stem (Arcangelisia flava Merr) with petroleum ether, chloroform and methanol 80% to screen of alkaloid compound has been carried out. Extract of chloroform was added by 10% of NH3 solution and Al2O3, then put into column chromatography and flowed by chloroform. Eluat was tested by dragendorf reagant to know the present of the alkaloid compound. This eluat was identified by thin layer chromatography with chloroform-methanol (1:4 v/v) as a mobile phase. It gave four spots that had the Rf value of 0.78; 0.64; 0.41; 0.18. After these spots were added by dragendorf reagant, only the first spot gave positive result. Then the chloroform fraction was separated by column chromatography to take the fraction which had Rf value of about 0.78 and thenit was analyzed by spectroscopic method (uv-vis and infra red). The data suggested that the alkaloid compound was the pyridin alkaloids group.
