Abstract

The key to the succes of a company lies in the human resources also applies of PT ASKRINDO (Indonesian Credit Insurance) Surakarta Branch. since today, there are many phenomena of low employee performance working in a company, so this study aims to see the effect of human resources management on employee performance at PT ASKRINDO Surakarta Branch. Good human resources management will improve the quality of employee performance at PT ASKRINDO Surakarta Branch. This study used qualitative methods and data were obtained from interviews with informants consisting of 8 employee of PT ASKRINDO Surakarta Branch and various literature reviews as a method of data collection. The results showed that human resources management was proven to have an effect on employee performance at PT ASKRINDO Surakarta Branch with several indicators on human resources management; human resource procurement, human resource development, career development, job performance appraisal, compensation, worker safety and health, and job analysis and design. So, with an increase in human resource management will improve the performance of employees at PT ASKRINDO Surakarta Branch.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the perception of beginner investors on corporate reputation using the Corporate Reputation Quotient (CRQ). The CRQ used is 10 dimensions with a total indicator of 44 question items using a Likert scale. The survey was conducted using an electronic questionnaire to 49 PNP Accounting Department students who have become investors on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2021. The data obtained were then processed and analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results of data processing show that the majority of beginner investors in PNP are women with an investment age of less than six months and an investment value of under Rp. 500,000. Data processing of investor perceptions of corporate reputation shows that financial performance indicators which include profitability, total assets, growth and risk are the most important factors considered by beginner investors in Indonesia. Followed by the factor of Corporate Social responsibility (CSR) in second place, which includes; ethics, and responsibility to the environment. The third position is the company's leadership, covering various factors of the company's internal resources. The two lowest factors in this survey are occupied by emotional attractiveness and company credibility. Abstract

This paper aims to discuss control - a function in an organization – by relooking some works in control system and external control of the organization. A classical work of Pfeffer and Salancik (1978) becomes an important basic source in this review paper discussing the external control of the organization from a resource dependence perspective. Luckily, Dill (1981) reviewed this ten chapters book giving a basic understanding of the control function of the organization. Dill also offered a term of the environment of an organization, the one that might be understood before understanding about the organization. Another important source comes from Eilon’s (1996) work which provides a theoretical framework on the basic concept of identifying and classifying of the administration control system. The more recent works in the control system strengthen this review paper such as Chenhall (2003) that provides a critical review of findings from contingency-based studies relating to the management control system (MCS), and Gillan (2006) describing corporate governance as another aspect in control function of management. This paper ends with concluded recommendations to answer the curiosity in understanding the organization and its environment and the external control of the organization. Makalah ini bertujuan untuk mendiskusikan pengendalian atau control - suatu fungsi dalam organisasi – dengan melihat kembali beberapa karya tulis dalam sistem pengendalian dan pengendalian eksternal organisasi. Karya Pfeffer dan Salanic (1978) menjadi bahan yang penting dalam makalah ini yang mendiskusikan pengendalian eksternal suatu organisasi dengan perspektif keterikatan sumber daya. Beruntung, bahwa Dill (1981) membahas buku yang terdiri atas sepuluh bab ini dan memberikan pemahaman mendasar mengenai fungsi pengendalian dalam organisasi. Dill juga memperkenalkan istilah lingkungan organisasi, sesuatu yang perlu dipahami terlebih dahulu sebelum membahas lebih lanjut tentang organisasi. Sumber bahan penting lain berasal dari karya Eilon (1996) yang memberikan kerangka teoretis sebagai konsep dasar dalam mengidentifikasi dan mengklasifikasikan sistem pengendalian administrasi. Karya lebih baru yang digunakan dalam makalah ini adalah Chenhall (2003) yang memberikan pandangan kritis dari temuan studi contingency based dalam sistem pengendalian manajemen (MCS), dan Gillan (2006) yang menjelaskan tentang corporate governance sebagai aspek lain dalam fungsi pengendalian manajemen. Makalah ini diakhiri dengan rekomendasi yang memberikan jawaban atas pemahaman tentang organisasi dan lingkungannya serta pengendalian eksternal organisasi.

Abstract

The trade sector is one of the biggest economic generators and the most contributing sector towards the gross domestic product (GDP). Unfortunately, the growth of the trade sector stumbles due to the Covid-19 pandemic. According to BPS, this sector is one of the real sectors that is greatly affected by the pandemic situation whereas the demand side experiences a big slump due to the lockdown which makes in and out goods hardly possible. Thus, it leads to the decline of export and import transactions. This study mainly attempts to investigate whether there are significant differences in financial performance during the Covid-19 pandemic and before in trading, service, and investment sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Documentation study is implemented as a data collection technique with a quantitative comparative approach. Variables included in this study are Current Ratio (CR), Quick Ratio (QR), Cash Ratio (CR), Net Profit Margin (NPM), Gross Profit Margin (GPM), Operating Profit Margin (OPM), Return on Equity (ROE), Return on Assets (ROA), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and Debt to Assets Ratio (DAR). While the analytical technique used in testing the hypothesis is the Paired Sample T-Test and the Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test in the SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Science) program. Research finding shows significant differences in Net Profit Margin (NPM), Gross Profit Margin (GPM), Operating Profit Margin (OPM), Return on Equity (ROE), and Return on Assets (ROA) before and during the Covid-19 pandemic. Abstract

leadership and work discipline is a unity that must be owned by correctional officers. These two aspects have an impact on the performance of officers in prisons. This scientific article was created study to explain the transformational leadership influence on the work discipline of officers in The Correctional Institution Class IIB Klaten. Researchers used quantitative methods. Research instruments in the form of questionnaires with a Likert scale that has previously been conducted validity and reliability tests. Population as well as research sample as many as 85 respondents. The data obtained was analyzed using parametric statistics, which is a spss 20 application-assisted t test. The results of this study indicate that all coefficients of positive value with regression equations namely Y = 0.301 + 0.970X that can be stated that transformational leadership affects the discipline of the officer's work positively and significantly with the direction of exchange that is directly proportional to the coefficient X that is positive value. The coefficient of determination or R square (r2) obtained from the results of this study amounted to 0.716. The results explained that transformational leadership variables have an influence and explain the work discipline variable by 71.6%. The results of this research are expected to be information as well as considerations to optimize leadership skills and discipline in working for prison officers in Indonesia.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to obtain the concept of a service quality model for motorcycle products in the automotive industry in Indonesia. Furthermore, the concept that will be formed expected to enrich the insights of interested parties in service management and opportunities for improving the implementation of service quality, especially for motorcycle product manufacturers in the automotive industry in Indonesia, which can then be used as a tool to compete. fellow manufacturers of motorcycle products in Indonesia. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research approach, with the method of collecting data through in-depth interviews. After the interview, transcription was carried out and continued with the data analysis. From the analysis of the data, the research found several themes of service quality dimensions, consist of: (a). Technical quality namely technology, (b). Functional quality, namely safety, security, comfort and convenience. The main functional quality from the user's perspective is security. Based on the results of the study, these dimensions are the focus of services that must be provided by motorcycle manufacturers, as a tool to compete with other motorcycle manufacturers.
