Abstract

This study aims to find out the differences in the effect of the quantum learning model with the mind map method and the Jigsaw cooperative learning model on students with various levels of creativity. The subjects of this study were students of class X IPA 1 at SMAN I Subob - Situbondo and class X IPA 1 at SMAN 1 Besuki - Situbondo. This research is an experimental research. Data collection techniques through tests and observations. Data were analyzed using Two Way ANOVA. The results of the data analysis show that: (1) The learning outcomes of students who have high creativity are better than the learning outcomes of students with low creativity, (2) The learning outcomes of students with high creativity are better in quantum teaching learning with the mind mapping method than with the Jigsaw method, (3) There is a positive interaction between student creativity and learning models on student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Research on the relationship between learning motivation and academic procrastination in class X students of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 1 Jember for the 2021-2022 academic year involved 205 students out of a total of 432 students who selected by random sampling method. Based on the results of data analysis, it found that students' learning motivation was in the moderate category as much as 52%, while students' academic procrastination was in the moderate category as much as 61%. The results of analysis the Pearson Product Moment correlation show relationship between the two variables. The correlation coefficient is negative (r = -0.477), which indicates a non-unidirectional relationship. The result of comparison of the significant level (p value) is 0.00, which means p value is less than 0.05 (the specified level of significance). Therefore, the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted, which states that is a relationship between learning motivation and students' academic procrastination.

Abstract

This research is a causal study (correlation) with 33 students of class IX in the odd semester of the 2014–2015 academic year at Al Muttaqin Middle School, Kec. Patrang Jember. The following are the findings of this study: (1) Powerpoint media and learning motivation affect the learning achievement of class IX students of SMP Al Muttaqin because Fcount (14.529) > Ftable (3.32) and its significance value is 0.000. Considering that the coefficient of multiple determination (R2) is 0.492 (49.2%) and is influenced by other variables of 50.8%, the influence of PowerPoint media and learning motivation on improving student achievement is not too significant. (2) The importance of student motivation in determining academic success.

Abstract

After learning Indonesian sentences, it can be concluded that students are less focused on learning. When the researcher explained the material, some students were not interested in listening to the explanation. The purpose of this study was to determine the application of the Cooperative Learning learning model using video media to increase learning motivation. This Class Action Research was conducted in 2 cycles. Based on The test results obtained at the end of each cycle, shows that there is a significant increase in Indonesian learning outcomes. Starting from the pre-cycle, initially 22.22% achieved completeness or above the KKM, then in cycle, I there was an increase of 66.67%, and in cycle II there was an increase of 88.89% in fulfilling the KKM. So it can be concluded that the use of cooperative learning models with video media can increase student motivation.

Abstract

The main component that determines the level of active learning of students is the enthusiasm of students. Learners' enthusiasm for learning can be assessed and measured by their interest in learning, attention to learning, motivation to learn, and knowledge that has an impact on optimal learning outcomes. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of self-personality in increasing learners' enthusiasm. The method used in this research is a literature study or by using a literature review of secondary sources, namely several journals that are by the research question. The model used is an interactive model that aims to assess research data qualitatively including data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The result of this research study is to find out the percentage of self-personality in increasing students' enthusiasm.

Abstract

In everyday learning activities students really need motivation, especially external motivation to have a passion for learning. They are not enthusiastic during the learning process in class because they feel lazy. It takes passion and seriousness from students in understanding so much material and lessons. In every learning activity educators and families have a very important role to give a positive influence. There are many ways that can be done to revive the enthusiasm of students, including through a reward or praise for students who are diligent in learning. This method can provide encouragement to be more passionate in achieving their goals. Abraham Maslow's theory explains that individuals have needs such as learning, where these needs must be met and a learner is required to have a sense of having to learn.

Abstract

Discovery Learning is one alternative learning model in the 2013 curriculum. The facts in the field of teachers have never developed a discovery learning model. Student learning outcomes based on the average test score have not reached the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM). One media that can be a helper for communication students research is Powerpoint. The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of the discovery learning model assisted by Powerpoint on the cube and block material at SMPN 1 Pakusari. The research used a qualitative descriptive research design. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the researcher carried out the steps of the learning implementation plan using the powerpoint-assisted discovery learning model.

Abstract

Learning is the main activity of the educational process. Researches conducted observations in class XI SMA 02 Diponegoro Wuluhan Jember. This study aims to determine the effect of teaching methods charades and experiments of interest and student learning outcomes in study subjects circulatory system Heart. Based on the results of research and learning methods charades experiment did not affect the student’s interest in learning biology XI SMA 02 Diponegoro Wuluhan Jember academic year 2013-2014 for the hypothesis test the significance value of 0.223 is greater than 0.05. the learning methods of charades and experimentation influence the biology student learning outcomes XI SMA 02 Diponegoro Wuluhan Jember academic year 2013-2014 for the hypothesis test significance value of 0.04 less than 0.05
