Abstract

The tradition of drinking Nyaneut Tea is a culture that has been passed down from generation to generation and is often used as a guide for Sundanese people to respect and stay in touch through serving a cup of warm tea. The culture of the Nyaneut Tea tradition is slowly fading among the people with low awareness of preservation, wealth, and culture and the lack of existence of the Nyaneut Tea Tradition so that tea is only seen as a side dish and without meaning. This study aims to determine the existence of the Nyaneut Tea Tradition today, the efforts of the local community to maintain the Nyaneut Tea Tradition and the background of the Nyaneut Tea occurrence so that it can become an ancestral cultural heritage that lasts from generation to generation. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods, to obtain strong data by conducting interviews, observations, and documentation. The location determination was carried out in Cigedug village, Garut Regency as a place for research activities. The results of the study show that the Nyaneut Tea Tradition is indeed lacking in existence among today's society. Nyaneut culture has begun to fade even though Nyaneut itself has many benefits for body health and teaches the rules of drinking tea that need to be applied to the community for etiquette.

Abstract

The discourse on the cosmology or universe has recently received special attention in intellectual circles. This attention arises because the universe is understood by humans differently. The wisdom of Lamaholots, means that the universe is the manifestation of God's self or is referred to as Lera-Wulan Tana- Ekan. In Philosophy, especially for German Idealism, the universe is defined as the place of self-alienation of the Absolute Spirit. From these two different perspectives, researchers want to analyze the meaning of the universe further. This research uses a comparative study method to perform a two-way analysis. The goal is that wisdom and philosophy can act as formal and material objects. His findings are that the universe cannot be denied having different meanings. The universe can be interpreted as a manifestation of the Divine or the Absolute Spirit or vice versa. In addition to these differences, there are also one or two similarities that can be accepted rationally and accounted for.

Abstract

Dieng Kulon is a potential tourism village that attracts tourists. In addition to their tourism potential, the Dieng people have traditions and culture: ruwatan, ganenan, and pawon. Ruwatan is a Dieng “rambut gimbal” shaving procession. Children in Dieng who have dreadlocks are the chosen children and the incarnation of Kyai Kolodete (Dieng's ancestor). This Ruwatan, which was later managed by the Pokdarwis Dieng Pandawa, became an annual cultural festival called the Dieng Culture Festival. The results of this study are that the Dieng Culture Festival provides benefits to the local community because the tourism industry in Dieng Kulon is starting to be managed properly. The management uses the community based tourism method brought by Pokdarwis Dieng Pandawa and is implemented in the development of Dieng tourism. The CBT method is considered to have been successfully implemented, although not completely because some people are still refused to participate in Dieng tourism. Stakeholders consisting of several actors collaborate and participate. In CBT there are dimensions that need to be produced, namely the economic dimension, social dimension, political dimension, cultural dimension, and environmental dimension. These five dimensions can be seen through the process and method of the Dieng Pandawa Pokdarwis implementing CBT in Dieng tourism. Ganenan and pawon are a local community tradition to warm the body and a way for the community to strengthen interaction. From this, how the culture and traditions in the community are managed by the Pokdarwis Dieng Pandawa with the concept of CBT so that community participation is the main point. Community participation is the main gate of tourism development with the CBT concept.
