Abstract

Abstrak: Naskah drama Jalan Menyempit merupakan naskah karya Joni Faisal yang mencoba mengritik kondisi sosial dan politik yang terjaadi di wilayah Jakarta. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: pertama, mengetahui struktur drama dari Jalan Menyempit; kedua, untuk mengetahui kondisi sosial historis konkret dari drama Jalan Menyempit. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori sosiologis drama. Prinsip dasar sosiologi drama adalah kenyataan bahwa penciptaan drama Jalan Menyempit dipengaruhi oleh kondisi sosial historis tempat karya itu diciptakan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa naskah drama Jalan Menyempit memunculkan peristiwa dengan tema sosial, nilai-nilai material akan mempengaruhi kondisi kehidupan masyarakat. Penulis juga ingin mengkritik kondisi sosial-politik yang terjadi di Jakarta, yang digambarkan dalam dialog dialog tokoh. Kata kunci: naskah drama, sosiologi drama, sosiohistoris Abstract: Jalan Menyempit is a manuscript written by Joni Faisal who tries to criticize the social and political conditions that occur in the Jakarta area. This study aims to: first, find out the drama structure of Jalan Menyempit; second, to find out the concrete historical social conditions of the drama Jalan Menyempit. This research uses the sociological theory of drama. The basic principle of drama sociology is the fact that the creation of the Jalan Menyempit drama influenced by the historical social conditions in which the work was created. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the drama Jalan Menyempit raises events with social themes, material values will affect the living conditions of the community. The author also wants to criticize the socio-political conditions that occur in Jakarta, which are portrayed in the dialogue dialogue of figures. Keyword: drama script, drama sociology, social-historical

Abstract

Abstrak: Legislatif Celeng merupakan hasil dari proses perancangan dan peciptaan karya naskah dan konsep pertunjukan teater. Kerja kreatif ini merupakan suatu kritik terhadap perilaku jahat para calon anggota legislatif yang menggunakan politik uang untuk menjadi seorang dewan. Penciptaan naskah dan karya teater ini merupakan kritik politik, dan bagian dari ikhtiar penyadaran bahaya money politic dalam bentuk kesenian. Metode psikologi seni Graham Wallas (1926) digunakan dalam proses penyusunan perancangan ini. Tahapan proses berfikir kreatif Wallas membantu penciptaan naskah drama beserta perancangan teater yang berjudul Legislatif Celeng. Tokoh-tokoh, plot naskah, dan semua material pelengkap dipadukan sehingga menghasilkan sebuah karya yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan pertunjukan. Kata kunci: penciptaan teater, politik uang, kritik politik, naskah drama Abstract: Legislatif Celeng is the result of designing and creation of theatre performance. This creative work is a criticism of the evil behavior of legislative council  candidate who use money politics to become a council. The creation of the script and theatrical work constitutes political critics, and an effort to raise awareness of the dangers of money politics in the form of art. Graham Wallas’ (1926) Art of Thought was used in the process of preparing this design. Stages of Wallas's creative thinking process helped in the creation of theatre scripts along with the theater design entitled Legislatif Celeng. Characters, script plots, and all supplementary materials are combined to produce a work that suits the performance needs. Key words: theatre creation, money politics, political criticism, drama play

Abstract

Abstrak: Makalah ini berisi proses kreatif membuat Film Pendek yang ceritanya terinspirasi oleh Kotak Pertanyaan konsep pembelajaran Khas di Sekolah Dasar Mangunan Eksperimental. Kotak Pertanyaan adalah salah satu konsep pendidikan (pembelajaran) yang disampaikan oleh Pastor YB Mangunwijaya. Kotak pertanyaan membiasakan anak-anak untuk menghasilkan pertanyaan setiap hari. Film ini menunjukkan bagaimana perlunya memberi anak-anak kebebasan untuk bertanya untuk mendukung kreativitas anak. Film ini memberikan pandangan lain tentang pendidikan yang baik dan efektif di Indonesia. Kata kunci: film pendek, kotak pertanyaan, Mangunwijaya, Sekolah Eksperimental  Mangunan Abstract: This paper contains the creative process of creating Short Films whose stories are inspired by the Question Box of a Typical learning concept in the Experimental Mangunan Primary School. The Question Box is one of the concepts of education (learning) presented by Father YB Mangunwijaya SJ. Question boxes familiarize children to produce questions every day. The film shows how the need to give children the freedom to ask questions to support children's creativity. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini menganalisis performativitas para waria dalam menunjukkan identitas dan pilihan gender mereka. Kajian ini menggunakan teori performativitas gender Judith Butler, di mana identitas dianggap sebagai sebuah performansi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pertunjukan ketoprak Sedap Malam merupakan kontestasi para waria. Para waria berlomba-lomba untuk menunjukkan kualitas kefeminitasannya. Kontestasi itu dilakukan dengan aksi, ekspresi, gestur, dandanan, pakaian, dan semua tindakan para waria yang dilakukan secara heboh dan berlebihan. Kehebohan itu dilakukan untuk meneguhkan keperempuanannya, karena selamanya mereka dihantui bahwa meskipun gendernya adalah feminin, tetapi masyarakat tetap melihat berdasarkan sex. Oleh karena itu mereka akan terus meyakinkan masyarakat bahwa dirinya adalah perempuan. Peneguhan yang menggebu-gebu atas kefeminitasannya itu dilakukan secara hiperbolis bahkan terkadang menjadi sangat ekstrim. Kata kunci: Sedap Malam, waria, ketoprak, dan performativitas gender Abstract: This study analyzed the performance of transvestites in showing their gender identity and choices. This study used Judith Butler's (1993) gender performance theory, where identity is considered as a performance. The results showed that the Sedap Malam ketoprak performance was a contestation for transvestites. The transvestites are competing to show the quality of their femininity. The contestation was carried out with splashy actions, expressions, gestures, make-up, clothes, and all the transvestites behavior were carried out exaggerate. The excitement was carried out to strengthen their womanhood because they were always haunted that even though their gender was feminine, people continued to look them based on their born-sex. Therefore they will continue to convince the public that they are women. Enthusiastic affirmation of their enthusiasm was done hyperbolically and sometimes even very extreme. Key words: Sedap Malam, transvestites, ketoprak, gender performativity

Abstract

Abstrak: Piramus dan Tisbi adalah kisah cinta tragis yang populer pada 331 SM di Babilonia. Pada 1590-an William Shakespeare menulis drama berjudul Mid Summer Night's Dream di akhir cerita, yang memasukkan kisah-kisah Piramus dan Tisbi. Tahun 1960-an kemudian diadaptasi oleh Suyatna Anirun sebagai drama pendek Piramus dan Tisbi dalam bentuk komedi. Pencipta kostum menggunakan naskah tersebut untuk mewujudkan penciptaan kostum teater. Pencipta kostum perlu memahami karakter sehingga tercapai hubungan harmonis antara karakter dengan kostum yang dikenakannya. Teori estetika digunakan untuk menghadirkan estetika dalam penciptaan kostum kertas yang akan digunakan dalam pertunjukan. Hasil proses penciptaan karya busana dalam naskah Piramus dan Tisbi dengan material kertas ini mengalami banyak kendala dan beberapa kali perubahan, hingga mencapai bentuk yang menyesuaikan kebutuhan pementasan. Kata kunci: Piramus and Tisbi, kostum teater, estetika, kostum kertas Abstract: Piramus and Tisbi is a tragic love story popular in 331 BC Babylon. In the 1590s William Shakespeare wrote a drama called Mid Summer Night's Dream that by the end of the story, it included the story of Piramus and Tisbi. The story was later adapted by Suyatna Anirun as a short drama of Piramus and Tisbi in the form of comedy in 1960s. The costume creator uses the script to realize the creation of the theater costume. The costume creator needs to understand the character to create a fitting costume for the characters. Aesthetic theory is used to present aesthetics in the creation of paper costumes that will be used in performances. The result of the costume creation process in the Piramus and Tisbi play with paper materials, has experienced many obstacles and has been revised for several times, to reach a form that matches the stage needs. Key words: Piramus and Tisbi, theater costume, aesthetics, paper costume
