Abstract

The purpose of this study was (1) to measure and examine the relationship education, work discipline and work excitement with employee performance on an industrial district in the village Birdcage Debegan Jebres District of Surakarta. (2) To determine the factors that have the strongest association with the performance of employees in the industrial center of the Birdcage Village Debegan Jebres District of Surakarta. This study takes the object to the industrial centers in the village Birdcage Debegan Jebres District of Surakarta. The population in this study were employees in the industrial centers in the village Birdcage Debegan by 87 craftsmen with the number of workers / employees approximately 783 people. Determination of the number of samples taken is determined by the formula Slovin as many as 89 respondents by random sampling method. Data analysis technique using multiple correlation. The results of data analysis found that the variable levels of education, work discipline, and the excitement of work, had a significant relationship primarily to employee performance. Variable excitement of working has the strongest links to employee performance.

Abstract

The objectives of this research were (1) To determine the benefits of community development / local institutions that have been implemented by the government (2) To determine the assistance that has been done by the government of businessmen-small entrepreneurs in Sub district Pedan (3) To determine the skill level of the community before and after the training conducted by the government through the PNPM program (4) To determine differences in the welfare of people in the District Pedan before and after there is direct assistance by government funds through PNPM program.   This research was conducted in the District of Klaten sub district Pedan. By taking a sample of 40 respondents. Data analysis technique using different test and Benefit Cost Ratio (B/C Ratio).   The research found that there is a difference between before and after the implementation of the PNPM program on community empowerment, mentoring, training, and direct grants. PNPM program is effective because it can increase empowerment, mentoring, training and financial assistance loans to the public, so concluded is helpful.   Keywords: empowerment, mentoring, training, grants, PNPM

Abstract

The purpose of this study were (1) To examine the effect of a partial capital, old business, and the business location to the success of batik traders at Klewer Market. (2) To examine the effect of simultaneously between capital, old business, and the business location to the success of batik traders at Klewer Market. (3) To determine the most dominant factor to the success of batik traders at Klewer Market.   The study was conducted on batik traders in Klewer market Surakarta. The population in this research were 105 traders taken as many as 30 traders. As for how sampling is done by means of proportional stratified random sampling. In this study, researchers used a type of quantitative data from primary sources and secondary sources. The technique of data analysis using multiple linear regression with t test, F test, determination analysis. The results of data analysis found that there are significant capital and business location to the success of batik traders at Klewer Market. While the old business do not affect the success of batik traders at Klewer Market. Capital, old business, and business locations simultaneously positive and significant impact on the success of the business of batik traders in Surakarta Klewer Market. Approximately 84.50% variable business success batik traders in Surakarta Klewer Market can be explained by the variable capital, old business, and the business location. While the remaining 15.50% is explained by other variables outside variables examined in this study.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was: (1) To determine the level of quality of services provided by the craftsmen in the furniture market Bibis Surakarta. (2) To determine the suitability of interest and customer expectations of the level of quality of services provided by the craftsmen in the furniture market Bibis Surakarta. This research was conducted in Surakarta Bibis Furniture market. The population in this study is all of the people in the city of Surakarta and surrounding areas. In this study were taken a sample of 100 customers with convinience sampling method. The results of this study can be concluded that in general the average level of the suitability of each dimension no one has reached 100 percent, so there are several dimensions that need to be improved, namely tangible dimension and the dimension of empathy. Dimensions closest customer expectations consist of dimensions of assurance, reliability and responsiveness,. While customer satisfaction index (CSI) to attribute the quality of services the furniture market Bibis Surakarta amounted to 84.979%. These results explain that the satisfaction level of overall service quality attributes assessed from customer the furniture market Bibis Surakarta has a level of  "Very Satisfied" Keywords: service quality, customer satisfaction index.

Abstract

The purpose of this research were: (1) To analyze and measure the influence of relationship marketing to customer loyality (2) To analyze and measure the influence of relationship marketing to customer satisfaction (3) To test the effect of customer satisfaction mediation on the influence of relationship marketing with customer loyality. This research was conducted at CV Berkah Mandiri in Surakarta city. Population used in this research is all customer CV. Berkah Mandiri Surakarta with 179 retailers. Then taken to be a sample of 66 retailers with purposive sampling. Analyzer uses path analysis. Results of data analysis found that there is a perfect mediation effect of customer satisfaction on customer loyalty in CV. Berkah Mandiri Surakarta. This means that relational marketing does not directly increase customer loyalty, but by increasing customer satisfaction, then customer satisfaction can increase customer loyalty. Abstract

The aim of this study as follows (1) to determine the response of society based on the characteristics to the existence of traditional market Kayuapak Polokarto. (2) To determine the most dominant factor relation between the characteristics of the community and surrounding Polokarto on the existence of traditional market Kayuapak Polokarto. This research was conducted in Traditional Markets Kayuapak Polokarto. Population in this research is the entire community of users Kayuapak Polokarto Market. The samples were taken as many as 100 people using Cooper method. Problems statement in this study as follows: (1) How is the public response to the existence of traditional market Kayuapak Polokarto? (2) What factors most strongly linked between community characteristics and surrounding Polokarto on the existence of traditional market Kayuapak Polokarto? The Results of the study found that the presence of the market well received by the public Polokarto. There is a relationship between the role of the market with the characteristics of the user community. The most powerful relationship is the relationship between work and the role of traditional market Kayuapak Polokarto who helped create jobs for the community and surrounding Polokarto. The second sequence is the relationship between the income with the market's role in helping to improve the income regions, especially sub-district Polokarto, and the third is the relationship between education with the market's role as the community needs Polokarto.     Keywords: traditional market, the characteristics of the community.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is as follows: (1) measure and examine the effect of procedural and dsitributif justice on job satisfaction of employees (2) To measure and examine the effect of job satisfaction on employee performance (3) measure and examine the mediating effect of job satisfaction in influencing procedural justice and distributive justice on employee performance. This research was conducted on PMI Ex-Surakarta Residencies consisting of PMI Surakarta, PMI Sragen, PMI Karanganyar, PMI Wonogiri, PMI Klaten and PMI Boyolali. The population in this study were employees support personnel consisting of as many as 184 employees of non-health and specialty pharmacy employees 20 people. Determination of the number of samples using the formula Slovin and gained as much as 67 samples. As for sampling using proportional random sampling. Problem statement (1) Does procedural and dsitributif effect justice on employee satisfaction? (2) Is the job satisfaction influence on employee performance? (3) Is the mediating effect of job satisfaction procedural and distributive justice on employee performance? The research results been recorded that procedural and distributive justice in PMI Ex-Surakarta Residencies have influence on employee satisfaction. Job satisfaction influence on employee performance. There is a complete mediating effect (full mediation) from employee satisfaction to procedural justice in influencing the performance of employees, and there is a partial mediating effect of job satisfaction against distributive justice in influencing employee performance PMI Ex-Surakarta Residencies.
