Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study wanted to know the factorsthat affect the level of wages and determine the influenceof each factor on the level of wages in Aceh. This studyuses multiple regression analysis techniques. The surveyresults revealed significant factors affecting the level ofwages is education, type of work, hours of work andwork experience. All these factors have a positive effecton the number of workers' wages. Education increasesone year would increase wages by 49 983 rupiah.Professional workers have higher wages amounting to949 009 rupiah compared skilled workers. Workinghours increase by 1 hour will increase wages by 20 115rupiah. Workers who already have experience to havehigher wages for 133 766 rupiah compared to workerswho do not have experience. To improve the welfare ofgovernment workers have to ensure companies paywages above the provincial minimum wage.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to influence the real wage rate and economic growth on job opportunities in industrial sectors especially large, medium, and small. Estimation of research using robust least square technique. Data in the study from 2000 to 2014. The results show that economic growth has an increased impact on employment opportunities in the industrial sector. Different results found real wages that have a positive impact. This gives the meaning of a high real wage giving more absorption. Furthermore, the small industrial sector is more vulnerable to labor shortages if economic growth declines.

Abstract

AbstractThe study aimed to analyze the influence of exchange rate, Inflation, capital and labor force on economic growth in Indonesia. The data in this study are secondary data sourced from the Central Bureau of Statistics and Bank Indonesia which include data on the rupiah exchange rate against the dollar, inflation, gross domestic fixed capital formation, and labor rate. Analysis of this research based on the Cobb-Douglas Production Function by using the ordinary least square method (OLS) recursively. The results showed that the capital positively affects economic growth. By recursive method, inflation and exchange rate have a significant effect on economic growth. Inflation in particular has a significant negative impact on economic growth through interest rates and capital. However, the amount of labor has no significant effect on economic growth. This means that the government needs to reduce the inflation rate to be able to reduce the interest rate to increase the amount of capital and ultimately increase economic growth in Indonesia.

Abstract

AbstractThe objective of this research is to find out the influence of individual income, interest, house price and location regarding on the demand of simple house at Aceh Besar Regency. Analysis method employed in this research was Quantitative Method. Data collecting in this research was Primary Data. The analysis result indicates that the demand of simple houses at Aceh Besar Regency is remarkably high. Individual income and interest give significant influence toward the demanding of the simple houses at Aceh Besar Regency, meanwhile house price and location had less impact regarding the demand of simple houses at Aceh Besar Regency. The government is highly expected to maintain and preserve the subsidy of the interest for the people. Therefore it makes easier for them to get simple houses especially at Aceh Besar Regency, because houses are also basic needs in addition to food and clothing.

Abstract

AbstractThis explanatory quantitative research aims to determine the factors that affect the Willingness to pay on tariffs at the Regional Water Supply Company (PDAM) Tirta Daroy Banda Aceh. The data used in this research are primary data that obtain from population and the research sample in PDAM Tirta Daroy work area. The sampling technique use in this study was the probability sampling – simple random sampling, the method applying by choosing some of the populations in certain way, so all the population have the same opportunity to be selected or taken. Data were analysed using statistical test - structural equation modelling (SEM) AMOS (analysis of moment structure) which is by doing Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) first. The result of this study show that Willingness to pay (WTP) influenced by customer satisfaction and the regulation, Willingness to pay (WTP) does not affected by the Promotion, customer satisfaction is not influenced by customer education level, customer satisfaction and promotion is influenced by existing regulations / policies, while there is no strong relation between education and customer income.

Abstract

Abstract This study aimed to learn the portrayals of PPK-BLUD implementation and its obstacles at the Public Hospitals of Banda Aceh. The study employed the qualitative analysis method with the descriptive design. Primary data were used in this study. The analysis results show that all flexibilities of BLUD have been well implemented. The public perceived the post PPK-BLUD implementation service as satisfying, and good perception was also observed amid the hospital staffs. The obstacles faced in implementing PPK-BLUD were the inability of the human resources at Meuraxa Public Hospital to utilize existing business opportunities, cost inefficiency, cost differences between RSUD Meuraxa Public Hospital and INA CBG’s BPJS which resulted in a decrease in the hospital income.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to analyze the effect of various economic variables (ie education level and number of family members), hedonic variables (current occupied homes, number of bedrooms, number of living rooms, and bathrooms), spatial variables (range of house to market, workplaces and medical facilities) as well as amenitative variable (ie water network availability, garbage collection services availabilty, flood-free areas, and healthy environment) to the willingness to pay for homes for low-income groups in Banda Aceh City. The result of this study concluded that economic variables and some hedonic variables affect the willingness to pay for homes in poor communities in Banda Aceh city, while spatial and amenitative variables do not affect significantly. The total desire to pay is almost Rp.210 million or an average of Rp.1 million per month. Therefore, the government should provide a relatively cheaper vertical model housing for land acquisition, and easier provision of basic housing infrastructure.
