Abstract

Generally, cooperative management has not been in the synergy between the department of cooperatives, the SMEs and the managers in it. It can be seen in the management aspect, especially regarding performance measurement that in needs of equal attitudes and actions in design making. The assessment model for a cooperative conducted by the department of cooperatives is just focused on the financial statements. The purpose of this research is to create a performance measurement application program for cooperatives using the prospector strategy and the organizational culture of Athens. The approach is focused on testing the implementation of the program. The observation unit is the cooperatives in Surakarta. The observation unit is associated with the organizer of the cooperatives. The respondents are chosen based on the success criteria of the organizer in generating financial reports. The method of this research is descriptive qualitative analysis. The output of this research is a web-based application program in the form of a cooperatives performance measurement.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze if transformational leadership and work motivation affect work engagement which in turn affect Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB). We also analyze whether work engagement mediates the effect of transformational leadership and work motivation on OCB. Using census method, our sample in this study is 73 civil servants in the Education Office in Surakarta Municipality. The sample taken for this study is all employees with census method, thus, resulting in 73 people as samples. From the analysis using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM), we find that transformational leadership positively and significantly affect OCB, this implies that leader’s attitude that inspires and motivates subordinate, stimulates creativity and innovation of subordinate, train and provide direction for subordinate, will improve subordinate OCB. Work motivation also has a positive and significant effect on OCB. Employee’s work motivation affects the development of employee’s job attachment to their organization. If the work motivation is higher, the OCB behavior will be stronger. Thus extra role behavior will increase. Also, we also find that transformational leadership and work motivation indirectly affect OCB through employee work engagement. The implication this study brings to Surakarta Municipality Education Office is to improve transformational leadership style because the style has been proven to be able to improve work engagement and OCB. Thus, it is necessary for the leaders in the office to be open-minded or open to changes that will benefit the organization either in system or technology. Besides that, the result also brings implication to Surakarta Municipality Education Office to consider subordinate’s work motivation

Abstract

The purpose this study is to examine the impact of Dining Atmospherics, Perceived Value, Customer Satisfaction, and Behavioral Intentions in Restaurant Double Decker at Solo Baru, Indonesia. We distribute questionnaires to 150 consumers of Restaurant Double Decker Solo Baru who visited more than three times. Using Structural Equation Model (SEM) assisted by AMOS application program, the results showed that Behavioral Intention have a significant positive influence on the dependent variable that is Atmospherics, and the dependent variable that is Atmospherics also have a significant positive effect on the mediating variable, Customer Satisfaction, and Perceived Value, then the Customer Satisfaction has a significant positive influence on independent variables of Behavioral Intention.

Abstract

This study aims at describing potentials of halal tourism destination in Aceh by analyzing readiness of tourism destination through perceptions of tourism travel agents and tourists in developing halal tourism in Aceh. This study also produces right strategies to develop halal tourism by tourist destination characteristics. The data and information collection is done through FGD (Focus Group Discussion), in-depth interview and distribution of questionnaire to 327 tourists in Aceh. Based on the result of the study, Aceh is quite optimal in launching halal tourism as its tourism product yet there should be more improvements and strategies for increasing tourist attraction. The result of this study is expected to help the government of Aceh and tourism travel agents in increasing halal tourism potentials and setting strategies in developing halal tourism potentials so they could attract tourists to have halal tourism in Aceh or visit Aceh.

Abstract

Online buying activity is increased along with the increased of internet-based information technology. This gives benefit to online businessman and businesswoman. However, the efforts which should be given are harder than before because of the increasing of online criminality which happened in Indonesia. The objective of this study generally is to reveal the antecedents of online repurchase intention in Indonesia. This study is using 170 respondents who have experience in online purchasing at least one times before. Visual Partial Least Square is used to examine the relationship between constructs. This study concludes that the developed model which used in this study can be used to predict online repurchase intention even several relationships is found not significant. Another conclusion from this study is perceived information quality, perceived service quality, subjective norms, online shopper’s trust, and online shoppers’ satisfaction are the antecedents of online repurchase intention.

Abstract

The main objective of this research is to find the level of biosecurity adoption by beef cattle farmers. This research is conducted in Luwu regency, South Sulawesi, Indonesia. The data are collected from observation and interview using questionnaire. The sample is 31 beef cattle farmers who are selected using random sampling. There are 35 questions in the questionnaire that consist of management practice, sanitation, equipment, disease and disease prevention, and calf management. The data are analyzed descriptively using frequency distribution. The results revealed that the level of biosecurity adoption is 69.3%, and it is categorized as “high adopters”.
