Abstract

The increasing number of cases of violence that have occurred in the community lately, have been carried out by children to other, making parents worried. They feel that the environment in which their children are growing is no longer conducive. Furthermore, parents are convinced that most children today need appropriate help and treatment. There are three trends of parenting applied by parents to their children, namely: authoritarian, permissive and democratic parenting. These three patterns are influenced by the factors of maturity, education and diversity of parents. Caregiving cannot be separated from the understanding that every child experiences a sensorimotor, pre-operational, concrete operational and formal operational phase throughout their lifetime. This work describes descriptively about parenting as taught and inspired by Maharsi Chanakya in his work Niti Sastra. He said that it is better to have one suputra child, than one hundred kuputra children, and a suputra child who brings glory to his family. For this reason, parenting when children aged zero to five years should be spoiled, when children aged six to fifteen can be cared for by punishments, and when children are sixteen years and over, children can be educated by means of friendship.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran tematik berbantu media interaktif berkonsep Trihita Karana terhadap pemahaman konsep IPA ditinjau dari pengetahuan awal siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan rancangan posttest-only control group design. Populasi adalah seluruh siswa kelas III SD Dwijendra Denpasar. Sampel yang digunakan berjumlah 54 orang dibagi menjadi kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen dengan teknik random sampling. Analisis data menggunakan ANAVA dua jalur. Data pemahaman konsep dan pengetahuan awal siswa dikumpulkan melalui tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran tematik berbantu media interaktif berkonsep Trihita Karana berdampak lebih baik terhadap pemahaman konsep siswa dibandingkan dengan model pembelajaran konvensional dan terdapat interaksi yang signifikan antara model pembelajaran dan pengetahuan awal siswa.

Abstract

The new era presents teachers new challenges and responsibilities. The tradition of teaching English has improved dramatically with the inclusion of various types of advanced technology. Technology provides numerous choices such as making teaching interesting and more productive. Technology is one of the most influential boosters of social and language change. Since the use of English has progressed in popularity, the demand for qualified teachers to teach English is unquestionably required. It is true that there are teachers who use 'sophisticated' technology, although most of them still teach in the traditional way. None of these traditional behaviors is bad or damaging to students. In fact, until now they proved it useful too. However, there are various opportunities for students to gain self-confidence to practice and expand themselves, particularly for those who are learning English as a foreign language that learns the language for more than just having fun. If they want to be able to follow the learning process and gain more confidence, they must step into the world of multimedia technology.

Abstract

This paper aims to describe the personality  prominent of characteristics from Visnu Puraana of Dhruva story. the author describes many phenomena that indicate the decline of the morality of generations such as: elementary school children who have been smoking, teenagers who are exposed to free sex, lack of tolerance in social life, and there is a shift in values regarding norms of decency and ethics. Weak understanding of religious values can be regarded as an indicator of moral degradation. A civilization would want more improvement in regards to morality. In relation to the moral degradation of the nation's generation the government and society want children to have 18 national characteristics being; believe in religion, honesty, tolerance, fair for all, discipline, hardworking, creative, independent, democratic, curios to learn, national pride, communicative, peace-loving, avid readers, caring about the environment, social care, and responsibility. Building character using education for children is one way to make civilization better. The cultivation of character using education for children starts from an early age, ie through story or stories in Puraana that can be used as a medium of character building for children.

Abstract

Kepemimpinan menyentuh berbagai segi kehidupan manusia seperti cara hidup, kesempatan berkarya, bertetangga, bermasyarakat, bahkan bernegara. Oleh karena itu usaha sadar untuk mendalami berbagai segi kepemimpinan yang efektif terutama dalam organisasi perlu dilakukan secara terus menerus agar kehidupan menjadi lebih mutual. Hal ini karena keberhasilan suatu organisasi baik keseluruhan maupun sebagai kelompok dalam suatu organisasi tertentu sangat bergantung pada mutu kepemimpinan yang terdapat dalam organisasi yang bersangkutan.PPKn dalam tujuannya bagaimana mampu menghasilkan sifat dan perilaku warga yang baik dan bertanggung jawab serta bermanfaat bagi masyarakat, bangsa dan Negara. Salah satu cara dalam mencapai tujuan ini adalah dengan memanfaatkan suatu identitas yang ada dalam suatu masyarakat dalam pembelajaran. Keberadaan suatu identitas bangsa akan ditopang oleh kebudayaan daerahnya masing-masing, dan kebudayaan adalah salah satu pembentuk karakter masyarakat.

Abstract

Tulisan ini membahas tentang pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan SCL Penerapan model SCL dianggap sesuai dengan perubahan paradigma dari pengajaran menjadi pembelajaran. penerapan model SCL sangat efesien yakni dalam pembelajaran. Guru sebagai fasilisator mengarahkan tentang bagaimana konsep tugaas tersebut. Dengan demikian metode SCL kini dianggap lebih sesuai dengan kondisi masa kini. Yang menekankan pada minat, kebutuhan dan kemampuan individu. Model pembelajaran ini dapat mengembangkan kualita s sumber daya manusia yang dibutuhkan peserta didik. Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 22 Dauh Puri di Kelas III yang prestasi belajar pendidikan jasmani olah raga dan kesehatan  masih rendah. Tujuan penulisan penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah model Direct Instruction dengan metode Demonstrasi  dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa.             Metode pengumpulan datanya adalah tes prestasi belajar. Metode analisis datanya adalah deskriptif.          Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah model Direct Instruction dengan metode demonstrasi  dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa. Ini terbukti dari hasil yang diperoleh 63,43 pada pada awalnya  setelah diberikan tindakan pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 68,14  dan pada siklus II meningkat lagi menjadi 76,09. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah model Direct Instruction dengan metode demonstrasi   dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar pendidikan jasmani olah raga dan kesehatan siswa kelas III semester I Tahun Pelajaran 2018/2019  SD Negeri 22 Dauh Puri.

Abstract

Latar belakang  tulisan ini adalah untuk membahas tentang (1)  fungsi dan tujuan pendidikan di Indonesia.  (2) Penyelenggaraan Pendidikan Nasional (3) Fungsi Dan Tujuan Pendidikan Bagi Masyarakat . Kajian ini penting sebagai dasar arah pelaksanaan pendidikan di Indonesia. Dari berbagai perrspektif tentang fungsi dan tujuan pendidikan telah jelas terlihat bahwa pendidikan di indonesia berupaya untuk menciptakan bangsa yang cakap, beriman, bertaqwa kepada Tuhan serta memilki pengetahuan yang baik dan wawasan kebangsaan. Pendidikan di Indonesi sangat berperan penting dalam membangu masyarakat. Melalui pendidikan,masyarakat melakukan transformasi budaya, menciptakan tenaga kerja, menciptakan alat kontrol sosial dan lain sebagainya. Dengan demikian perkembangan masyarakat dapat berjalan secara berkelanjutan. Berdasarkan kelima fungsi dan tujuan pendidikan bagi masyrakat tentunya masyarakat akan sangat diuntungkan dalam hal birokrasi, sosial dan ketenagakerjaannya.

Abstract

In essence teaching and learning activities are a process of interaction or reciprocal relations between the teacher and students in the learning unit. For this reason, an effort is needed in order to improve the quality of education and teaching, one of which is to choose a strategy or method for delivering learning material so that students can improve their learning achievement. Literature study was conducted to find information about learning, especially the cooperative learning model type Group Investigation (GI). So that by applying the GI cooperative model can improve learning outcomes and student learning motivation. Learning outcomes are what is achieved by students by involving all the potential they have after the students carry out learning activities. Achievement of these learning outcomes can be known by holding an assessment of learning outcomes tests. Motivation to learn means a tendency and high enthusiasm or a great desire for learning. Cooperative learning is a model of teaching where students learn in small groups and have different abilities. Group type Investigation (GI) learning is the most complex learning model. The core steps of the Investigastion Group's learning model are as follows. (1). The teacher forms groups and calls each group leader to receive assignments / material. (2). Each group leader returns to his group and then discusses in depth the tasks that are obtained with the group members. (3). After being considered enough time for group discussion, each group represented by the spokesperson delivered the results of the group discussion that was listened to by all students. (4). The results of the discussion were read by each group alternately by each group until all groups had their turn to deliver the results of the discussion. The application of cooperative learning model group investigation type can be used as one of the learning models in an effort to improve learning outcomes and student motivation in the learning process. Each stage in investigation group learning is a good assessment material related to teacher observation of student activities and the works produced by students while undergoing the learning process.
