Abstract

Humility and human happiness are a very important aspect. Many factors affect human serenity and happiness, such as prayer, zakat and charity, fasting, pilgrimage and dhikr. but only one that is easy for everyone throughout the world in various circumstances and environment and has a very decisive influence on human happiness that is dhikr to Allah. On the contrary, human beings no longer use it to recite to Allah, then suddenly his happiness is pulled out from his bosom; it's just gone missing its memory. There was a sad feeling, his chest suddenly felt tight and narrow, not even infrequently his life became meaningless.

Abstract

Through legal references review, the present study aimes at finding out the concept of ummah in the Medinah Charter and the concept of nation state in the Jakarta Charter (Indonesia’s 1945 Constitution) along with the correlation between the two. The conclusion is that, as constitution, the Medinah Charter is as sililar as the Jakarta Charter or the 1945 Constitution in the context of Indonesia, which has a feature of equations. From the historical point of view, both were grew out of a plural society which then formed a whole community in one melting pot, that is governance or state. In its values, ​​both contains the recognition of plurality of society and the principles of equality, unity, justice in one community

Abstract

This study intends to explore bait al-mal as the principal of financial institution in Islam within the view of fikih muamalah and the history of bait al-mal in the era of classical jurisprudence in order to get clarity about the role of government in social security, especially that developed in Andalusia. Management of bait al-mal has clarified the role of the government as a mandate of God's Right. Utilization of God's right other than for Him alone, also expanded for the benefit of public altogether. Social security system in Islam has implemented it both in its muamalah fiqh and its economic history. All of that is based on the government's obligation to engage in social security system to guarantee law enforcement in all aspects of life and maintenance of economic and political stability.

Abstract

Google Earth is one of the technologies of computer programs that provide facilities for the user to see the buildings in three dimensions, providing a latitude and longitude information of places around the globe. The purpose of using Google Earth to measure the direction of Qibla is to analyze and determine the measurement accuracy of Google Earth in the direction of Qibla, outlining the steps Google Earth in the measurement of the direction of Qibla. In this case the method of field research, testing experimental approach by comparison tools theodolite, measuring the direction of Qibla with Google Earth was conducted in three big buildings are: Masjid Agung Jawa Tengah, Masjid Kauman Yogyakarta, Masjid Ulil Albab UII Yogyakarta. Three small buildings are At-Tauba Mosque, al-Ikhlas Mosque, an-Nur mosque in Beringin Semarang.

Abstract

It goes without saying that Pesantren has been a site of great potential to continue its role playing more broadly, not only as confine as to become a guardian of social piety and the center for the spreading of Islam in the countryside, but also playing its role as a counter part for the development of the Indonesian government. The expansion is on the aspect of political policies, empowerment of the people's economy as well as character education .

Abstract

What the relationships is like between educator and learner have actually been given in the Qur'an. Hamka is basically not a specialist in the field of education, inspite of this, he has heartedly investigated the aforementioned relationships as revealed in his monumental book of commentary, Tafsir al-Azhar, especially in Surat al-Alaq Verse 1-5. The relationships is build-up based on a pattern of learner-centered education which is different from educator-centered education pattern. The former is characteristically modern and the latter pattern is traditional in orientation. As an oustanding public figure raised-up in a religious environtment and actively engaged in struggle with the modernists movement in Indonesia, it is only natural that Hamka emphasizes the learner-centered pattern of education which is widely seen as a modern educational trend.
