Abstract

In the era of rapidly developing information technology, CV. Shaqi Multi Solusi as a business entity engaged in the sale of printers and spare parts, the problems currently faced are difficulties in monitoring, managing stock of goods, inefficiency of the information system used in the sales process and currently the business process is still running manually, where customers must come directly to the store or make an appointment with the store owner to make a sales transaction. From these problems, a web-based sales information system was created which was developed with the PHP programming language and for the design of system development using the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) model to facilitate the planning and creation of the system. This study produces a web-based printer and spare part sales information system application that can facilitate the process of managing customer data, managing stock data and sales so that it is more effective and efficient in the sales process and based on the results of system testing, the system can run well according to expectations (valid).

Abstract

State Vocational High School 1 Godean is a school with a center of excellence that has various facilities and activities that support learning activities for students. One way is by using the teaching factory method. One of the teaching factory methods at State Vocational High School 1 Godean is that there is a rental service for multimedia equipment and goods intended for students and general users outside State Vocational High School 1 Godean called ESGO Media. There are problems experienced by ESGO Media in rental activities, one of which is the occurrence of human errors such as data input errors which make the data invalid and cause problems when you want to use it. The aim of this research is to develop a Web-based rental information system at ESGO Media State Vocational High School 1 Godean and test the information system with the ISO 25010 standard. The development method used is the Research and Development method with an Agile model with design through data flow diagrams. This research produced a Web-Based Rental Information System at ESGO Media with the results of obtaining a score of 100% in the functional suitability aspect with a very good category for use, 87.65% in the usability aspect and getting a very suitable for use category. In the reliability aspect, it gets an average test score of 77%, has a performance score of 70.48% and is categorized as grade C in the performance efficiency aspect, and is categorized as a system that is easy to maintain based on the maintainability aspect with a maintainability index value of 39.82 . It is hoped that this information system can improve performance and make it easier for ESGO Media managers to carry out rental activities at ESGO Media and become a basis for developing information systems in the future.

Abstract

Cigarettes are an addictive substance that can cause addiction for those who consume them. Each cigarette contains more than 4,000 types of harmful chemicals for the body. However, smoking has become a habit for some people, especially men, it can harm health and become a source of disease. One of these diseases is coronary heart disease and lung cancer, which are among the leading causes of death due to smoking annually. In 2019, Indonesia had the highest number of teenage smokers in ASEAN, therefore the importance of education about the dangers of smoking is highlight. Public service announcements are a common form of education about the dangers of smoking. According to data, 51.10% of the Indonesian population are active smokers, the highest rate in ASEAN. Raising awareness about the health hazards of smoking, especially to the heart and lungs is crucial and should be conveyed to the public through educational, informative, and interactive media. One such method is the use of multimedia with augmented reality technology. Augmented reality is a technology that can project a 3Dimensional (3D) object into the real world in real-time. This research implements augmented reality using a markerless approach that can display 3D objects of human organs, such as the lungs and heart, affected by smoking.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has revolutionized online and social media analysis, making it an indispensable tool for educational institutions such as Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Mataram to comprehend public perception and trending topics. By applying the Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) approach to identify trending topics and the Lexicon-based method to analyze sentiment toward these topics, this research addresses the challenge of identifying key issues and public sentiment. Research data was collected from various news platforms and social media such as Twitter or X, Instagram, and Facebook, using the Google News API and Selenium for web scraping. The collected data was then processed to generate findings relevant to this research. The results of the LDA show that the most frequently discussed topics are related to the achievement of superior accreditation by UIN Mataram, student achievements, and academic activities. Meanwhile, using the lexicon-based method, the sentiment analysis results found that most topics related to UIN Mataram received dominant positive sentiment. Several topics showed positive sentiments, reaching almost 100%, such as topics 2 and 10, which were related to achieving accreditation. Meanwhile, several other issues were dominated by neutral sentiment, indicating that discussions on the topic tended to be informative without triggering significant emotions. Overall, the UIN Mataram institution was viewed positively in the news and media discussions analyzed.

Abstract

According to data from the World Health Organization (WHO), more than 1.3 billion people worldwide experience visual impairments, with Cataracts being one of the main causes. Cataracts are an eye condition characterized by clouding of the lens, which can lead to blindness if left untreated. This study aims to accurately detect Cataracts using a combination of feature extraction and neural networks, utilizing digital fundus images. The Dataset used consists of 600 fundus images divided into 80% for training and 20% for testing. The feature extraction process is performed to identify distinctive characteristics of the images relevant to Cataract diagnosis. These features are then analyzed by a neural network to recognize patterns indicative of Cataracts. To optimize performance, this study implements a hypertuning process. Before tuning, the initial model achieved an accuracy of 0.83, with precision, recall, F1-score of 0.83, and an AUC of 0.92. After four stages of hypertuning, the model’s performance improved progressively. The first tuning achieved an accuracy of 0.85, with precision, recall, and F1-score of 0.85, and an AUC of 0.93. In the second tuning, accuracy increased to 0.88, with precision of 0.87, recall of 0.88, F1-score of 0.87, and an AUC of 0.93. The third tuning maintained an accuracy of 0.88, with precision improving to 0.90, recall at 0.87, F1-score of 0.88, and an AUC of 0.94. The fourth tuning delivered the best results, with an accuracy of 0.90, precision of 0.92, recall of 0.89, F1-score of 0.90, and an AUC of 0.94. These results demonstrate that the hypertuning process plays a significant role in improving model performance.

Abstract

This study aims to design, evaluate, test, and assess a prototype Internet of Things (IoT)-based building management system for air conditioning (AC) control in a campus building. The research background stems from the need for a system that can manage temperature more effectively, aligning with the demands of sustainability in energy management. The methodology employed in this study involves the development of a system using an ESP32 microcontroller, integrated with an Infrared (IR) transmitter and an LDR sensor. Testing was conducted to evaluate the performance of the IR transmitter in detecting signals at various distances (1 to 5 meters) and directions (straight, left, and right), as well as to measure the accuracy of the LDR sensor at a distance of 2 meters. The test results revealed that the IR transmitter achieved optimal detection performance at a distance of 1 meter, with significant degradation at greater distances. Conversely, the LDR sensor demonstrated 100% accuracy at a distance of 2 meters. The study concludes that the IoT-based AC control system designed not only enhances temperature management efficiency but also improves user comfort, with the potential for broader application in building management systems in the future.

Abstract

Effective management of correspondence is a crucial requirement in various organizations to enhance operational efficiency, particularly in supporting lectures in higher education. The issuance of letters for student needs must adhere to specific requirements that must be fulfilled before the letter is issued. This process can sometimes be lengthy as the examination is conducted by officers. The application of information technology enables the acceleration of letter issuance by automating the verification of the necessary requirements. The use of mobile technology also facilitates flexible access for users at any time and from any location. Mobile applications are designed to address user needs in terms of functionality, ease of use, and optimal performance. This study aims to develop a mobile-based automatic letter system that assists students in obtaining letters required during lectures. The application operates automatically, meaning that the fulfillment of the requirements necessary for issuing letters can occur without the intervention of officers to verify them. The development of this system follows the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), which encompasses needs analysis, design, implementation, and system testing. Application development incorporates data obtained from other existing systems such as academic information systems, personnel information systems, and electronic official manuscript systems. This application utilizes the Application Programming Interface (API) to communicate with other applications. The development of this system employs the Dart programming language and the Flutter framework. From the results of User Acceptance Testing (UAT), a score of 93.19% was achieved, indicating that the application was well received by users.

Abstract

ShopeePay is one of the e-wallet applications that is widely used in Indonesia thanks to its various benefits, convenience, and security in digital transactions. However, the quality of user experi-ence still requires in-depth analysis so that this application can meet the evolving needs of users. This study uses the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) method to assess six main dimensions, namely attractiveness, clarity, efficiency, accuracy, stimulation, and novelty. The analysis showed that attractiveness (1.15), clarity (1.27), and efficiency (1.14) were above average when compared to global standards. However, accuracy (0.98), stimulation (0.75), and novelty (0.67) were below average, highlighting the need for improvement in the aspects of innovation and emotional en-gagement of users. By understanding the strengths and weaknesses in each of these dimensions, this study provides recommendations for improvements to enhance the quality of the app. Up-dates in the dimensions of fidelity, stimulation, and sustainability are expected to increase user satisfaction while strengthening their loyalty to the app. These findings are not only useful for Shopee Pay developers but can also serve as a reference for the development of other e-wallet apps to remain competitive in the digital market. Overall, user experience optimization is an important element in maintaining app competitiveness and meeting user expectations in this era.

Abstract

Property rental is the activity of utilizing property by tenants for a certain period of time at an agreed-upon cost. The types of property rented include residential, commercial, and industrial, which are the choices of many people because of their flexibility. As technology evolves, property searches and transactions are now more accessible through digital platforms such as websites and mobile applications. This platform allows tenants or buyers to get faster and more precise in-formation according to their needs. However, many property rental platforms still face challenges in providing an optimal user experience, such as a complicated interface and a lack of direct in-teraction between tenants and property owners. This study aims to improve the user experience on property rental platforms by adding an appointment feature that allows direct communication between tenants and property owners. The method used in this study is Design Thinking, which consists of five stages: Empathy, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test. The developed prototype was tested using Maze, a real-time user testing platform. The test results show that this platform has a Maze Usability Score (MAUS) of 69.63%, which is classified as “Good”. Although in general the platform can be used well, there are areas that need improvement, such as the high level of click errors in the process of adding properties by the owner. The conclusion of this study is that alt-hough the platform functions effectively, there is still room for improvement in terms of clarity and ease of navigation.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a web-based information system at the Bethel Indonesia Church (GBI) Juwana to improve the efficiency of delivering information to the congregation, especially for congregants who cannot attend services. In this rapidly developing era, information technology has become an important part of daily life, including in communication between churches and their congregations. Currently, information about church activities is mostly conveyed through direct announcements, so that some congregations miss important information. To overcome this, a web-based information system was created that makes it easy for congregants to access church-related information, such as service schedules, announcements, activity registration, devotionals, and photo galleries. Method. The development method used for this system is the Waterfall Model, which includes stages such as requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The completed system is expected to answer the challenges of church communication, reduce information errors, and increase congregational access. The test results show that all features function properly, both for information management by the admin and for information access by the congregation. With this system, the church is expected to be more effective in disseminating information and increasing congregational engagement, even for those who cannot attend church activities in person.
