Abstract

Latar Belakang: Salah satu indikator keberhasilan pelayanan rumah sakit adalah rendahnya angka Healthcare Associated Infection (HAIs). Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) merupakan suatu sistem pengontrolan pengendalian infeksi yang terukur dengan melihat kontinuitas dan probabilitas aplikasi pengendalian infeksi. Salah satu mata rantai dalam pengendalian infeksi adalah Central Sterile Supply Department (CSSD). Fungsi utama CSSD menyiapkan alat bersih dan steril ke berbagai ruangan di rumah sakit untuk perawatan pasien, sehingga dapat menurunkan dan mencegah HAIs. Tujuan: Menganalisis kesesuaian instrumen ICRA yang diterbitkan Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) untuk menilai pencegahan dan pengendalian risiko infeksi di Central Sterile Supply Department (CSSD) RS PKU Muhammadiyah Gamping. Metode: Penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Instrumen diadaptasi dari ICRA CDC for outpatient settings. Data diambil dengan melakukan telusur dokumen, wawancara dan pengamatan selama bulan Juli-Oktober 2016 di CSSD RS PKU Muhammadiyah Gamping. Hasil dan Pembahasan: Kesesuaian instrumen dengan RS bagian Demografi Fasilitas 72%, Infrastruktur 63%, dan Observasi 40%, sedangkan risiko infeksi di CSSD RS PKU Muhammadiyah Gamping untuk Infrastruktur 99,75% dan Observasi 80%. Kesimpulan: Instrumen ICRA for outpatient settings dari CDC dapat digunakan di CCSD rumah sakit Indonesia dengan kesesuaian sebesar 58%. Risiko infeksi di CSSD RS PKU Muhammadiyah Gamping termasuk rendah/low risk.

Abstract

This research is to analyze the usability of the user’s experiences for informatics system in Rumah Sakit Gigi dan Mulut Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (RSGM UMY) in university student and management staff perspectives. USE Questionnaire is one of the instruments which consist of questionnaires use to measure usability research. It is applied since the research consist three dimension of usability measurement, such as affectivity, efficiency and satisfaction from users. However, this research’ questionnaire consist of four aspects of usability; usefulness, ease of use, ease of learning and satisfaction. The analysis was done use the application of data analysis (excel) and SPSS as the statistical tool. The result exemplify whole of good usability in RSGM informatics system need to be able to support the user for carrying out the work in effective and efficient ways. Several weakness was found in the satisfaction aspect, especially in the menu of information system and supporting networks of the informatics systems.

Abstract

Background: Medical equipment is one of the factor that has been needed in Dental Hospital. Dental unit is one of medical equipment for the dentist to works with. Dental unit needs maintenance to keep it works properly. Dental hospital UMY has 76 dental units that have been functioned since 2008 and based on the report that conducted by technicians, there is no obstacle. Aim : This study is aimed to evaluate the implementation of dental unit maintenance conducted by dental student, dental nurse and dental technician toward dental unit durability in Dental Hospital UMY. Method : This study is an observational study with research design cross sectional. The research design of this study is cross sectional using mix method. Quantitative data using a questionnaire . Questionnaire will be used to determine the student knowledge about maintenance of dental units. Qualitative data using an indepth interview Indepth interview will be used to observe the implementation of dental unit maintenance conducted by dental nurses and dental technicians. Result : from the questionnaire data, 98% of dental coas have a good knowledge. From the interview data results the research found some damage in the supporting tool in dental unit that is handpiece, for the dental unit the condition is good, only small damage because to age of usage. besides that the other problems are the length of repair because lack of communication and has never existence of evaluation about maintenance has been running from 2008.

Abstract

Background: Hospital profit margins demonstrated the ability to generate profits or earnings. Low hospital profit margins can reduce the ability of the hospital to investment for increasingpatient safety programs, so it can have an impact on the increasing incidence of HAIs (Hospital Acquired Infections). The purpose of this study to determine the effect of the hospital profit margin onthe incidence of HAIs (Hospital Acquired Infections)that are consist of phlebitis, UTI (Urinary Tract Infection), SSI (Surgical Site Infection) and VAP (Ventilator Acquired Pneumonia). Methods: This study is a quantitative research with secondary data in cross sectional study. The financial data and HAIs (Hospital Acquired Infections) taken from 2012 to 2016. This study was perform in 3 type B hospitals. Analysis of data using linear regressions. Results and Discussion: The highest frequency of profit margins is ≥ 10%. The results of data analysis with CI (Confidence Interval) of 90% the effect of profit margin to phlebitis (p=0,004, x=-0,003), profit margin with UTI (Urinary Tract Infections) (p=0,002, x=-9,26), profit margin with SSI (Surgical Site Infection) (p=0,006, x=-0,002), profit margin with VAP (Ventilator Acquired Pneumonia) (p=0,009, x=-0,001). Conclusions and Recommendations: In Confidence Interval 90%, profit margins had effect on the incidence of HAIs (Hospital Acquired Infections)at the type B hospitals. There is a negative relationship between profit margins and the HAIs (Hospital Acquired Infections)incidence, which means that every increasing of 1 rupiah will reduce the incidence of HAIs (Hospital Acquired Infections) as a percentage.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan metode campuran (mixed method), dengan pendekatan the explanatory sequential mixed methods. Subyek penelitian adalah karyawan Rumah Sakit X di Yogyakarta. Sampel sejumlah 100 responden diambil dengan simple random sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan kuesioner dan wawancara. Teknik analisis kuantitatif dilakukan dengan regresi sederhana. Pada pendekatan kualitatif dilakukan dengan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian diperoleh: 1) kepemimpinan manajer, termasuk dalam kategori baik: 2) kompetensi karyawan, termasuk dalam kategori baik; 3) ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan kepemimpinan manajer terhadap kompetensi karyawan, 4) Cara kepemimpinan manajer dalam meningkatkan kompetensi karyawan adalah: a) pada menantang proses (challenge the process) dilakukan dengan menantang anak buah melakukan pekerjaan dengan caranya sendiri dan berani melakukan sesuatu walaupun ada risiko gagal, agar karyawan berani bertindak dan berinovasi dalam melakukan pekerjaannya, agar pekerjaan dapat dilakukan secara lebih cepat dan efektif; b) pada memungkinkan orang lain untuk bekerja (enable others to act), dilakukan dengan memberikan kesempatan dan tanggung jawab untuk terlibat dalam pengambilan keputusan sehingga kemampuannya dalam menganalisis dan membuat solusi permasalahan untuk merencanakan tindakan atau program kerja meningkat. Selain itu, dengan memberikan keleluasaan membuat keputusan sendiri dan mendorong kerja sama yang baik rekan kerja, sehingga terjadi transfer pengetahuan yang akan meningkatkan kompetensi karyawan; c) Pada dalam menjadi model dalam cara kerja (model the way), dilakukan dengan memberikan contoh dalam cara kerja, yang dapat diterapkan karyawan agar kompetensinya meningkat.
