Abstract

Low student learning outcomes are caused by various factors, including the majority of students are less focused and less active during pembelajaan process, which makes difficult students to master the material so that students are lazy for homework given. One effort that can be done is to give teachers some Brain Gym movements (brain exercise) before the learning begins in order to focus more students during the learning process. Learning of Indonesian Language, specially reading aloud in Elementary School 02 Paninggahan not using varied techniques. This causes, less motivated students to learn independently. The solution in order to resolve problems is application of modeling techniques phonological in teaching reading aloud. This study aimed to describe the process of improving reading skills through the application of modeling techniques voiced phonological fourth grade students of SDN 02 Paninggahan. This research is a classroom experimental research. Phonological modeling techniques applied by focusing on the pronunciation of phonemes. Learners are given the opportunity to test their individual skills through modeling provided by the teacher during the learning process. To find a spike in prose learning, evaluation is used to test the performance of the aspect of linguistic and non-linguistic. Beside that, this research using other instrumentation in learning Indonesian language.The concluded of the research are: 1) learners are more motivated to participate in learning Indonesian language with phonological modeling techniques.  2) Increased thoroughness every aspect / indicator on the first cycle and second cycle increased. The increase occurred in the pronunciation of the phoneme /f/, /u/, /a/, /i/, /k/, and /n/. Analysis of the final test result data by using t-test at 95% confidence level (α = 0.05) and 37 degrees of freedom is obtained t_hitung = 2,73> 1,68 = t _ ((0.95; 37)). which means H_0 disvorce and H_1 received. Key Words:  reading aloud, Modelling technique

Abstract

IPA as one of the subjects in elementary school is a program to inculcate and develop the knowledge, skills, and attitudes scientific value to the students, as well as a sense of love and respect for the greatness of God Most EsaSesuai with the process of learning science that emphasizes providing learning experiences directly to develop their potential in understanding the nature around. Forms of implementation science learning tailored to the steps using a constructivist approach are: the initial activity is to determine the purpose, on core activities tailored to the steps of constructivism, namely: to enable existing knowledge, acquiring new knowledge, understanding of knowledge, applying the knowledge and experience gained , as well as reflections. And at the end of the activities that follow-up and evaluation in accordance with the material already in the learning. By using a constructivist approach to learning science, learning outcomes fourth grade students of SDN 27 Rawang has increased. This increase can be seen the level of mastery in the first cycle reaches 56%, the second cycle increased to 89%. The number of students who achieve mastery in the first cycle of 10 people, and the second cycle increased to 16 students from 18 students. Key words: results learning, science, constructivism approach, students

Abstract

World Education today face many complex issues and needs to be addressed. One indicator of the cause is the curriculum that is always changing, so the schools are less ready for implementation, state teachers are less qualified in terms of competence education, school facilities is incomplete, and the most crucial issue of student, where there is an imbalance between the development of intellectual emotional. This resulted in the decline in manners of social and moral ethics in the practice of school life, causing a number of adverse effects are troubling the public, such as less behave respectful to teachers and employees, no concern, they are often late to class, ditching, do not wear uniforms with full and wear clothes that do not fit the model of school regulations, brawl between students, smoke, do immoral and others. Even student misbehavior tends to the category of criminal acts such as theft, drug abuse and murder. which is generally referred to as crimes of students. This study aimed to describe extracurricular scouting compulsory education as a vehicle for forming the character of students SMA Negeri 1 Batusangkar. Types and methods used in this research is a field research using qualitative methods. Subjects of this study as many as 11 people, consisting of Waka Kesiswaan, Scoutmaster (5 people) and the Council of shelves (5 people). Data collection techniques used in this study is a questionnaire, observation and documentation. As for analyzing qualitative descriptive technique used, including: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion or verification. Based on the analysis of data that scouting education compulsory extracurricular activities in SMA Negeri 1 Batusangkar, already implementing the values of the characters and already implemented in accordance with the purpose of the scout movement. In addition, scout curriculum used at extracurricular education compulsory scouting SMA Negeri 1 Batusangkar, referring to the educational curriculum scouting conceived and established by Kwarnas Scout Movement. The provision is contained in the AD/ART scout movement. It can be concluded that the compulsory extracurricular scouting education as a vehicle for forming the character of students at SMA Negeri 1 Batusangkar can be said to have been effective. Overall education compulsory extracurricular activities of scouting in SMA Negeri 1 Batusangkar already implementing character values listed on the purpose of the scout movement, the basic principles and methods of scouting, as well as the practice Trisatya and Dasadarma in each activity.Keywords: Education scouting, character.

Abstract

From the implementation of the research on media usage models in improving student learning outcomes in learning changes the physical environment on the mainland do give the conclusion that the study carried out in accordance with the implementation plan has been prepared. During the learning process assessment using signs characteristic of the application of learning media usage model in learning physical changes to the land kingkungan both from the aspect of teachers and students. In addition, the assessor also carried out on the group's activities of individuals and groups. To score the final test score was obtained by summing the scores obtained in the learning process divided by the total number of students. If the final score is obtained by the students, ranging from 75% -100%, the student is otherwise completed in learning. If the final score is obtained by students <75%, the student in question has not been declared complete in learning. To declare success or failure of the action taken be seen from the percentage of the total student mastery. This percentage is obtained by the number of students who achieve mastery divided by the number of students overall, and then multiplied by 100%. If the percentages obtained ranged between 75% -100% means the act declared complete, if the percentage obtained <75% -100% means the actions taken unresolved and must be repeated in the next cycle. Key words: media model, student learning outcomes, changes physical environment, mainland

Abstract

Social Studies (IPS) is one of the subjects given ranging from SD / MI / SDLB to college. IPS examines a set of events, facts, concepts, and generalizations relating to social issues. On the SD / MI social studies contain materials Geography, History, Sociology and Economics. Learning social studies will become a knowledge, skills, and understanding of the attitudes and values to students, if teachers are able to determine how best to convey the material contained in the Social Science subjects. And learning will work well if the teacher as facilitator and motivator for students not only to teach the monotony, but vary in methods, models, approaches and learning media bervarisi. Planning learning by using a model of Problem Based Learning (PBL) has been implemented in accordance with a predetermined plan, which has two cycles. In the first cycle carried out as much as 2 meetings and the second cycle executed as many as 1 x meeting. The results showed an increase in student learning outcomes of the first cycle of the first meeting, namely 70.8 to the second cycle is 90.4. Thus the research results show an increase in student learning outcomes is 19.6 with learning completeness percentage of 92%. Key words: student results, IPS, problem based learning methods

Abstract

Before performing the first teacher learning teachers need to draft the implementation of learning according to the learning steps. Draft Implementation Learning (RPP) by using the media image contains standards of competence, basic competence, indicators, learning objectives, subject matter, learning activities, methods / sources / media, as well as evaluation. Implementation of social studies learning by using media images in accordance with the steps for using the media image that consists of 9 steps starting with setting up tools and materials to be used for learning, deliver learning objectives, provide an introduction to generate interest of students, demonstrating a picture, ask opinion of the students, explains the material through the medium of pictures, ask questions, concluded the subject matter, and provide an evaluation. IPS implementation of learning by using media carried pictures of two cycles, each cycle consisting of two meetings with four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Learning by using media images can improve the learning outcomes of students were seen on average over the second cycle learning outcomes increased from the first cycle, in which the first cycle average gained 6.8.
