Abstract

The recruitment of Indonesian Navy (TNI AL) personnel is a strategic process to ensure the availability of qualified human resources to support maritime defense tasks. This study aims to analyze the strategies and competencies applied by the Naval Personnel Recruitment Agency (Lapetal) to enhance the effectiveness of TNI AL recruitment. Using a qualitative literature-based approach, the study identifies various challenges in the recruitment process, such as uneven geographic distribution of candidates, limited access to information in remote areas, and inadequate outreach efforts. Additionally, strict selection standards add complexity to the recruitment process. The findings reveal that Lapetal’s strategies, including the use of technology in the selection process, pre-selection training programs, and digital media-based outreach, have proven effective in reaching potential candidates from diverse regions. Enhancing recruiter competencies through training and professional certification and publication of the Integrity Pact also plays a key role in ensuring a transparent and accountable selection process. This study highlights the importance of combining innovative strategies and recruiter competencies to ensure the quality of recruited personnel. Recommendations include strengthening outreach efforts, expanding selection coverage in remote areas, improving transparency using data-driven technology and continue recruiter personnel competency program. These steps are expected to help Lapetal further enhance the effectiveness of TNI AL recruitment to support national defense.

Abstract

Organizational culture transformation has become an urgent need in the digital era, marked by rapid technological advancements and changing work patterns. This article discusses how organizational culture transformation impacts employee performance and the overall organization. The research is conducted through literature review and empirical analysis, revealing that adopting digital cultural values, such as collaboration, innovation, and flexibility, plays a crucial role in enhancing productivity and organizational competitiveness. Additionally, this transformation requires leadership commitment to create an adaptive work environment, empower employees through digital training, and ensure transparent communication. These findings provide insights for leaders to prioritize culture transformation as a key strategy to address digital era challenges and achieve organizational sustainability. Organizational culture transformation also faces challenges such as resistance to change, digital skills gaps, and the need for work process restructuring. Therefore, successful organizational culture transformation necessitates a holistic approach that includes strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and continuous evaluation to ensure the changes align with the organization’s vision and mission. The implications of this cultural transformation extend beyond improving organizational performance. It also contributes to individual employee development, fosters a more inclusive work environment, and encourages diversity in ideas and innovation. Thus, organizational culture transformation becomes a critical element in creating sustainable competitiveness amidst increasingly intense global competition.

Abstract

The overall state of Islamic financial literacy in Indonesia is currently suboptimal, primarily attributed to the underutilization of government initiatives aimed at enhancing Islamic financial literacy. Remarkably, mosques, which possess the potential to significantly and directly contribute to community enlightenment, have yet to serve as effective conduits for the dissemination of government programs targeting the improvement of Islamic financial literacy. Presently, there is a dearth of research focusing on the impact of mosque da'wah on Islamic financial literacy levels, as well as investigations examining the specific entities within mosques regarding Islamic social financial literacy. This study seeks to bridge this research gap by amalgamating these two dimensions, employing a descriptive quantitative approach through the application of Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) utilizing the Smart PLS version 3.0 application. The findings of this study underscore that the level of Islamic social financial literacy is positively and significantly influenced by da'i (actors), maddah (message), and thoriqoh (method). However, while wasilah (media da'wah) exerts an influence on the level of Islamic social financial literacy, its impact is comparatively less robust. Additionally, the study reveals that respondents exhibit a relatively modest degree of Islamic social financial literacy. These findings carry significant implications, emphasizing the potential of mosques as pivotal centers for the enhancement of Islamic social financial literacy.

Abstract

In the face of global uncertainty and increasingly complex business dynamics, innovation, sustainability and transformative leadership are three key pillars that are indispensable in the development of future management theory. This research aims to explore the integration of these three elements in management theory, as well as to identify gaps in the existing literature related to this topic. The main question to be answered is how innovation, sustainability, and transformative leadership can support each other and form an adaptive managerial framework in the VUCA (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, Ambiguity) era. The method used is a qualitative approach with in-depth literature analysis of previous research and relevant theoretical studies. The results showed that there is a significant relationship between the three elements in forming a more adaptive and sustainable managerial model. The research also found that there are still gaps in the integration of the three elements in one managerial framework, as well as a lack of longitudinal and cross-cultural studies. The conclusion of this study is that future management theory development should pay attention to a holistic approach that integrates innovation, sustainability, and transformative leadership. Future research is recommended to develop case study-based integrative models and explore the role of technology in shaping new leadership.

Abstract

Tax revenue is the primary source of income for Indonesia, supporting national development. However, taxpayer compliance remains a significant challenge. The Voluntary Disclosure Program (VDP), tax penalties, and tax socialization are expected to improve taxpayer compliance. This study aims to analyze the effect of VDP, tax penalties, and tax socialization on individual taxpayer compliance at the Jakarta Kalideres Tax Office (KPP Pratama Jakarta Kalideres). This research uses a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 30 individual taxpayers registered at the Jakarta Kalideres Tax Office. Multiple linear regression analysis was performed using SPSS software. The results show that VDP significantly and positively impacts taxpayer compliance, with a regression coefficient of 0.45 (p<0.05). Tax socialization also has a significant positive effect, with a coefficient of 0.38 (p<0.05). However, tax penalties have a positive but not significant effect, with a coefficient of 0.12 (p>0.05). Collectively, the three independent variables explain 65% of the variation in taxpayer compliance (Adjusted R²=0.65). VDP and tax socialization effectively improve taxpayer compliance, while the effectiveness of tax penalties requires further evaluation.
