AIMS AND SCOPE The aim of the Jurnal is to provide high-quality scientific papers covering the current issues within Islamic economics and finance. The journal is designed to provide a platform for researchers, academicians, and practitioners who are interested in new knowledge and discussing ideas, issues, and challenges in the field of Islamic economics and finance. The coverage includes but is not limited to: Islamic finance (Fundamentals, trends and opportunities in Islamic Finance, Islamic banking and financial markets, Risk management, Corporate finance, Investment strategy, Islamic social finance, Financial Planning, Housing finance, Legal and regulatory issues, Islamic microfinance); Islamic management (Corporate governance, Customer relationship management, and service quality, Business ethics and corporate social responsibility, Management styles and strategies in Shariah environments, Labour and welfare economics, Political economy, and such other topics as the Editors may deem appropriate). Articles need to make a significant contribution to the theoretical and /or methodological literature on the subject and contain a strong strategic management component.

Abstract

Purpose-The purpose of this research is to introduce the product to the people of Jepara to participate in the "kurban" saving product at BMT NU Sejahtera through SWOT Analysis. Methods-This study uses qualitative methods and applies analytical techniques from various theoretical references and field data to be analyzed and then concludes logically and critically. The data obtained with the approach of observation, interviews, and documentation. Findings-BMT NU who needs to pay attention to strategies to approach customers, networks, and excellent service. BMT NU Jepara also applies the marketing mix or marketing mix/product, price, place, promotion. Implications -Research results can be implemented in all BMT institutions in general and specifically for BMT NU Sejahtera

Abstract

Purpose- This study aims to determine the effect of Islamic business ethics and religiosity on the profits of confection entrepreneurs in the village of Pucung Tirto Pekalongan. Methods- Data were collected from 60 respondents using non-probability sampling with convenience sampling techniques. Data were analyzed by multiple linear regression. Findings- The results of the study support the notion that Islamic business ethics and religiosity are two important components that influence the profits of entrepreneurs. Research implications- The results of the study provide empirical evidence that Islamic business ethics and religiosity can be a determinant of an entrepreneur's success.

Abstract

Purpose- This study aims to examine the effect of macroeconomics on non-performing financing (NPF) of Islamic banking in Indonesia. Methods- Data were collected from 14 Sharia Commercial Banks (BUS) in the period 2014 - 2018, and analysis techniques used hierarchical linear regression. Findings- This study shows that macroeconomic does not have a significant effect on the NPF of Islamic banking. Research implications- this study can be used as a basis for subsequent research and preliminary information for Islamic banking management to manage NPF. The main contribution of this research is as an empirical reference regarding the debate about the power of Islamic banking in dealing with external conditions, especially macroeconomic, especially in Indonesia.

Abstract

Purpose- This study is to examine the effect of return on assets (ROA) and debt to equity ratio (DER) on the rank of Sukuk listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Methods- Data were collected by purposive sampling method with the number of companies sampled in the study were 7 companies with observations for 5 years. Findings- Results indicate that ROA and DER are proven to have a significant effect on Sukuk ratings. Implications- This study can be an evaluation for investors to determine investment decisions, especially Sukuk in Indonesia.

Abstract

Purpose- This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the level of student interest in entrepreneurship in terms of contextual namely academic, social and environmental support. Methods- Data was collected through the distribution of questionnaires to 100 students consisting of Islamic Economics and Business Faculty students, and the hypothesis was tested by multiple linear regression. Findings- The students' entrepreneurial intentions to create a business are largely determined primarily from the environment, social and academic support. Implications- This study offers alternative recommendations to universities and policymakers about the entrepreneurial intentions of business students.
