The research aims is to observe content of photo news on “Jepret” rubric of Pos Metro daily. A photo has the ability to present a news in detail. Reader does not explanation such narrative description. Therefore, a photo able to record anything and objectively present the event that contain element of news. Abstract

The research wants to observe public opinion about women who work in hotel affairs. The problem about working in hotel is the working hour, sometimes in day time, but also night time. The condition make negative perception about working women in hotel affairs. This is descriptive analysis research. The result shows that most people have positive response about working women in hotel affairs because it increase family income.

Abstract

Abstract

The research wants to explore the effect of internet for children under 17 years. There are positive yet negative effect of internet. This research aim is to describe both effects and make teenagers to be more understanding about internet for their mental health and social life. Through descriptive method, researcher make interview with teenagers age 14-17 who access internet in “Amal Net” in Amal St, Medan Sungal. The result of research shows that internet effects behavior pattern of teenagers, positively and negatively. Teenagers able to search information, knowledge that they have not received from teachers. But internet also give negative effect for teenagers (pornography, gambling, and addiction to social network). Through better understanding about pattern of teenagers behavior on using internet will create a better communication relation among teenagers, parents, society, and government.

Abstract

The research aim is to explore friendship among teenagers. Interesting about friendship is because conflict is often happened and friendship is getting decline. The conflict began when negotiation process was failed. Then, their communication process will change. Researcher wants to explore what makes conflict among teenagers and the solutions. This research is quantitative descriptive. Research site is in Kartika I-II High School Medan, with consideration of pre-survey questionnaire result of research. 64% respondents have conflict with their friends.

Abstract

The government as the provider of the public service has put some efforts to provide excellent service that have been expected by the people. Therefore the government of North Sumatra Province, under North of Medan revenue departement tries to deliver excellent service based on law number 25 year 2009. Hence, one single roof administration system has launched a mobile samsat. However North of Medan revenue departement has observed and received some complaints from the people about the mobile samsat. Generally, this study utilize descriptive qualitative method, by this research, it has attained some findings about the public perception at service in North of Medan revenue departement and how this mobile samsat outreach the expected excellent service based on the law number 25 year 2009.

Abstract

This research intended to know and describe the role of village chief according to regulations and laws regulating the performance of legislatif election, president election, and major election, using the qualitative method with technique of collecting data, depth interview and analysis of document. The key informan in this research is individual who knows of involved directly in process of general election and major election, i.e., villages chief, members of KPUD, legislatures, people figures, election monitor and to have functionaries of political party.The results of research indicates that village chief has strategic role in three momentums of election. Village chief as facilitator of election is involved in technique support in socialization process, logistic administration, recruitment of PPS and secretariat of PPS, and facilitaty of PPS office. The subject of debate is neutrality of village chief and his apparatus in one of election momentum, i.e., major election. This is caused by between that candidates of Major, two of them are incumbent who is holding the position and to have structure relation with village chief.

Tujuan utama dari studi ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana caranya menjadi manusiaberdaya saing tinggi di era kompetisi global dengna memanfaatkan information and communication technologi. studi analisis yang di gunakan adalah descriptive research karena bertujuam untuk membuat pencandraan secarasistematis, faktual dan akurat mengenai fakta-fakta tentang faktor-faktor penentu kualitas pada penyelenggaraan pendidikan dan pembelajaran dan jenis-jenis teknologi yang dapat di manfaatkan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan dan pembelajaran beserta hasil studi ini.
