Abstract

The problem of service in the field of community administration always colors the relationship between the community and city government. As one of the leading institutions in providing community administration service, subdistrict government in the city of Medan is expected to have the apparatuses who are able to work well in serving the community members. The problem of administration service for the community always occurs when the city government evaluates either its apparatuses or the quality of the provision of administration service for the community. The population of descriptive qualitative study with dominant-less dominant design conducted in the city of Medan was the subdistrict apparatuses and the community members in 21 subdistricts in the city of Medan. The result of this study showed the demand for a qualified community administration service in Medan will be increasing in line with the dynamics of change and population growth in Medan

Abstract

Development, in addition to the positive impact also brought environmentaldisaster for many because the environment is considered as an object that connotescommodities and continue to be exploited without taking into account the carryingcapacity of the environment. One of the efforts to improve the environmentalbalance is through a program of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). CorporateSocial Responsibility (CSR) which is the formulation of research problems is theimplementation of the implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) asthe social capital of PT. Adira Finance, how assessment Corporate PerformanceAssessment Program (PROPER) on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) PT.Adira Finance and favorable factors and inhibiting the implementation ofCorporate Social Responsibility (CSR) PT. Adira Finance.This type of research isdescriptive qualitative. Primary data were obtained from interviews andquestionnaires to the 40 members of the public and direct observation.Inimplementing CSR PT. Adira Finance has been working on the preservation of theenvironment, support environmental awareness programs. And for CSR activitiesconducted in the Village District Satria Binjai City PT. Adira Finance held areforestation program to plant 400 mahogany trees.

Abstract

Women's poverty issues become increasingly complex because it turns out women's poverty is not only caused by the limitation of access to economic resources. There are structural problems with the cause factor and not a single constraint, tend to vary according to the conditions of political, economic and social in their neighborhood. The existence of gender inequality in various aspects of life also worsening conditions of poverty on women.This is because the dual role that they have to run, on the one hand as a housekeeper and the other side as the breadwinner of the family. This research is quantitative descriptive. The results showed a young woman from RTM have education good enough, where the majority of the already educated junior high scholl and senior high school, although there is still educated to elementary school or never attended school because of limited funds bench, have low skills because of the presence of the non formal education yet or training undertaken, have a desire to seek self help especially in the field of trade and agriculture, has limited capital to be able to start a business for that initial funds needed to encourage them to start trying, have the potential to alleviate themselves from poverty if given help to seek.

Abstract

The successful implementation of the policy will be determined by many variables or factors, and each of these variables are related to one another. In view of Edwards III, policy implementation is influenced by four variables, namely: (1) communication, (2) resources, (3) disposition, and (4) bureaucratic structure. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. The results are as follows: (1). Implementation of the discussion using the theory of policy implementation at the stage of monitoring the implementation of data updating voters (DPT) in the city of Medan in 2010 Election not running optimally be seen from the number of people who are not enrolled in the DPT and the limited performance of the Supervisory Committee (2). Inhibiting factors that affect the performance of the Supervisory Committee of Medan in 2010 is a limited member of the Supervisory Committee, the limited time of the establishment (regulation / legislation governing the Supervisory Committee / Election Supervisory Body), HR is not the same (level of education) between Panwas City, District, and Village

Abstract

This research intended to know and describe the role of village chief according to regulations and laws regulating the performance of legislatif election, president election, and major election, using the qualitative method with technique of collecting data, depth interview and analysis of document. The key informan in this research is individual who knows of involved directly in process of general election and major election, i.e., villages chief, members of KPUD, legislatures, people figures, election monitor and to have functionaries of political party.The results of research indicates that village chief has strategic role in three momentums of election. Village chief as facilitator of election is involved in technique support in socialization process, logistic administration, recruitment of PPS and secretariat of PPS, and facilitaty of PPS office. The subject of debate is neutrality of village chief and his apparatus in one of election momentum, i.e., major election. This is caused by between that candidates of Major, two of them are incumbent who is holding the position and to have structure relation with village chief.

Abstract

Abstract

The establishment in the sub districk of Namorambe as autonomous region wasn’t followed by the village status alteration into kelurahan, thus the service provided until now didn’t agreed with the demand and expectation sub districk of Namorambe are Deli Tua,Jatikesuma,Sudirejo and Namorambe society that tended already heterogeneous and complex characterizing urban society. The method used in this research was quantitative method that supported by qualitative method. The data collection technique was performed through questionnaire distribution, interview and documentation study. The condition of those 4 villages was based on village region potential analysis, all of them included in appropriate enough to alter the status into kelurahan.

Abstract

Political marketing is the method and application of marketing concepts in a political context. Political marketing is seen as a set of methods that can facilitate the contestant (individual or political party) political initiatives in marketing, political ideas, political issues, political ideology, and the characteristics of party leaders and the party's work program to the public or the contestants. So therefore yan political marketing is done by the Democratic party (Democratic Party Regional Leadership Council of North Sumatra Province) is how to market their products in the context of political marketing political constituency or community so that in fact the Democrats can win a pair Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono at the Presidential election and Vice President in 2009 and then in one round.In this research, a description of research methods, namely by using in-depth interviews and literature to ekplorasikan about political marketing political parties in the 2009 presidential elections in the North Sumatra Regional Leadership Council of the Democratic Party of North Sumatra Province.

Abstract

Regional head candidates hoping to appear as an elected regional heads in local elections (Election) with regional heads so each candidate will do various forms of business activities in the market including their political ideas by Bashir-mate Alex the regional head election (Election) Pekalongan in 2010 The purpose of this study to determine the political marketing used in the election of Bashir Pekalongan. The method used qualitative descriptive type using interview techniques and literature. These results indicate that the figure Bashir has had since the beginning of social capital as a doctor and a social being so generous in the use of political marketing Bashir form no trouble.
