Abstract

One of the University Campus in Semarang city provides two types of class facilities: regular classes and creative classes. The first type is equipped with traditional non-adjustable chairs with desks arranged facing the front of the room, while the second types are equipped with movable whiteboard desks, adjustable wheeled chairs, and interactive whiteboards. Both types of rooms are facilitated with a whiteboard and standard projector. In the creative class, the tables and chairs are easily moved to support the learning process. For the students, to be in a sitting position in long hours in the class using the furniture that doesn't fit properly, can result in poor posture and even problems with the musculoskeletal system This study discusses the design of both classes based on anthropometric and ergonomic related to the furniture and the layout. Students’ comfort during the learning process and social interaction were captured using a questionnaire. Preferences and perceptions about the comfort of the classroom were analysis to determine opportunities for improvement that can enhance the learning environment.

Abstract

The West Lombok Transmission and Substation Services Unit (ULTG) has an important role in maintaining the electricity transmission network. However, this work has high risks, such as falling from heights, exposure to electromagnetic fields, and extreme environmental conditions. Therefore, this study aims to analyze risks and evaluate work safety control efforts using the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method. This research uses a qualitative approach through interviews and questionnaires and quantitative with the calculation of Risk Priority Number (RPN). The results of the analysis show that the level of risk at ULTG West Lombok varies from very low (RPN 6.4) to low (RPN 25). The risks include work tool failure and potential worker accidents. To reduce the risks, measures such as the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), implementation of safe work procedures, and regular inspection of tools and tower structures are carried out. Using the FMEA method, this research helps improve work safety and build a culture of Occupational Safety and Health (K3) at ULTG West Lombok.

Abstract

The development of urban areas often results in changes in land use to meet infrastructure needs. In Sematangborang District, Palembang, the challenge of efficient land use requires accurate mapping. Quantum GIS (QGIS) is an effective solution in land use mapping because of its open source nature and spatial analysis capabilities. This research aims to improve the accuracy of land use mapping in the region. This research uses the Geographic Information System (GIS) using QGIS Software for Regional Mapping. Data was obtained through interviews with related agencies and secondary data in the form of Shapefile regional maps from Bappeda and RBI from the Indonesia Geospatial Site. Sematangborang District, which is located 11 km from the center of Palembang City, has an area of 36.97 km2 with four villages. The largest regional distribution is Sukamulya Village (46.70%), followed by Karyamulya (26.69%), Srimulya (18.84%), and Lebong Gajah (7.77%). Mapping using QGIS successfully identified a variety of land uses, including public facilities, settlements, agriculture, and green open spaces. The research succeeded in producing land use maps of various data sources, comprehensive maps succeeded in identifying public facilities, settlements, agriculture, and green open spaces. The results of this mapping can support more effective spatial planning and regional development.

Abstract

Energi merupakan kebutuhan pokok dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, namun ketersediaan sumber energi fosil semakin menipis. Salah satu solusi yang dapat diterapkan adalah pemanfaatan energi alternatif, seperti briket. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan kualitas briket dan nilai kalor yang dihasilkan dari berbagai bahan, antara lain tempurung kelapa, serbuk gergaji, dan limbah pertanian lainnya. Metode yang digunakan meliputi pembuatan briket dengan teknik press manual dan pengujian nilai kalor menggunakan alat kalorimeter. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahan dasar memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap kualitas briket dan nilai kalor yang dihasilkan. Briket dari tempurung kelapa memberikan nilai kalor tertinggi dibandingkan bahan lainnya. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi salah satu referensi dalam pengembangan energi alternatif berbasis limbah organik.

Abstract

With ADS-B technology, it is the aircraft that continuously broadcasts data to the receiver system at the airport. Previously, all airports used radar, which worked the opposite way to the ADS-B technology, namely the radar at the airport which detects airplanes. One of the problems in the development of ADS-B technology is how to monitor and monitor aircraft with equipment technology that can be purchased in Indonesia at low prices, considering that ADS-B equipment in Indonesia is generally purchased abroad at very expensive prices. Therefore, the author will design an ADS-B Receiver Antenna which is designed with an aircraft transponder broadcast frequency of 1090 Mhz and adds a Low Noise Amplifier to reduce noise and maximize the 1090 Mhz frequency reception range. The ADS-B antenna design can receive a reply frequency of 1090 Mhz from the aircraft's transponder and change the received data to then provide information about the aircraft's target using the Virtual Radar application Display on a PC. In addition, this design can also display 1090 MHz Frequency and Antenna Temperature on a 16x2 LCD (light crystal display) using Arduino Uno and IC LM35.

Abstract

This paper presents results of saturated and unsaturated stability analysis of slope failures along jalan Simpang Sugih Waras – Batas Kota Baturaja. Most slopes failures occurred after a heavy rainfall; thus, rainfall infiltration is identified as the cause of the failures. Four locations were selected for this study. Soil samples were collected and tested in laboratory. The results indicate that the slope was made of clay with low plasticity. In the absence of the exact time of failure, IDF curve was used to identify the critical rainfall. In this case 19mm/hr rainfall for 6 hr was selected from 10-year-return-period IDF curve developed based on 20 year of rainfall data from nearby rainfall station. Seep analyses were carried out on the four slopes to obtain the seepage induced by rainfall infiltration and change of pore water pressure. Slope stability analyses were performed at selected times during and after rainfall application. The results of slope stability analysis show that the critical condition for slope was at the end of rainfall. Among the four slopes analyzed in his study, slope height has the most influence on the slope stability.

Abstract

Pesatnya pertumbuhan populasi manusia di Indonesia, meningkatnya kebutuhan pangan, dan tekanan terhadap sumber daya alam mendorong manusia untuk mencari solusi inovatif dalam memenuhi kebutuhan pangan secara berkelanjutan. Salah satu pendekatan yang mendapat perhatian adalah menggabungkan budidaya ikan dan budidaya tanaman. Ada beberapa aspek parameter yang harus diperhatikan dalam sistem budidaya ini antara lain, suhu air menggunakan sensor DS18B20, nilai nutrisi terlarut dalam air yang dikontrol oleh sensor TDS (Total Dissolved Solids), pengendalian stok pakan menggunakan sensor Ultrasonik (HC-SR04) dan pemberian pakan otomatis diatur menggunakan RTC (Real Time Clock). Dalam hal ini penambahan teknologi mikrokontroler memegang peranan penting dalam otomatisasi sistem ini. Mikrokontroler memungkinkan pengaturan dan pemantauan yang akurat. Kondisi ini akan ditampilkan pada layar LCD.

Abstract

Lebah Trigona SP atau yang biasa dikenal masyarakat dengan sebutan lebah klanceng merupakan salah satu lebah penghisap nektar dari bunga-bunga. Lebah jenis ini merupakan spesies primitif yang menghasilkan jumlah madu paling sedikit dari jenis lainnya. Alat suction tool madu klanceng sebagai alat bantu untuk proses pemanenan madu klanceng, dengan menggunakan pompa 12 Volt DC untuk menghisap madu trigona sp dari sarangnya, lalu memberikan alarm jika botol penampungan madu sudah terisi penuh, maka di pasang sensor ultrasonik hc-sr04 untuk meneteksi madu dengan jarak baca sensor yang telah di tentukan pada penampungan sehingga madu yang di panen tidak tumpah atau tidak terbuang sia-sia. Alat penyedot madu ini berfungsi juga untuk menggurangi kerugian ketika melakukan pemanenan yang kurang intensif secara prosedur saat melakukan panen dari sarang lebah madu trigona sp.

Abstract

CV Karya Jaya Palembang is a Pavling Block Factory which operates in the building sector as well as a distributor selling products such as Bricks, Roof Tiles, Concrete, Pillars, Chess, etc. distributors who sell products such as bricks, tiles, concrete, poles, dams, etc. Material vendors are currently experiencing inventory problems. Insufficient stock and does not meet buyers' desires. Therefore, material inventory planning is needed to determine optimal inventory levels. Forecasting calculation methods, EOQ, safety stock, reorder point, and total inventory cost (TIC) are used in this research. The amount of raw material purchases calculated using the EOQ method is 4567% of the optimal amount of raw material purchases. The company has not yet determined the amount of safety stock, but based on the EOQ method, the amount of safety stock that the company will hand over is 309.56 kg. And when the raw material inventory reaches 41,746.19kg, you need to order again.

Abstract

Ikan gurame sudah sangat sulit kita temukan di alam liar seperti sungai dan rawa hal ini diakibatkan oleh rusaknya habitat alam yang telah dicemar serta di rusak oleh oknum -oknum tidak bertanggung jawab. Para pembudidaya ikan gurame merupakan salah satu solusi untuk mencegah kepunahan dari ikan gurame. Akan tetapi Dalam budidaya ikan Gurame masyarakat seringkali menghadapi masalah, seperti halnya perawatan kolam , pemberian pakan , serta kondisi air yang harus selalu dilakukan pemantauan secara berkala untuk pertumbuhan ikan gurame yang baik, serta mencegah kematian dari ikan ini. Pada penelitian ini kita menggunakan sistem IOT untuk menghadapi masalah-masalah yang dihadapi masyarakat dalam melakukan budidaya ikan gurame. Dengan menggunakan LCD dan aplikasi Smart Kolam kita dapat melihat parameter Ph , suhu air kolam , level air kolam , keadaan kotor atau tidak nya kolam, serta jam dan tanggal berjalan. Nilai pH kita menggunakan sensor pH meter , kepekatan air menggunakan sensor turbidity , suhu air dibaca oleh sensor DS18B20, level air kolam dibaca sensor ultrasonic, tanggal dan jam dibaca oleh RTC. Dan kita dapat melakukan pengurasan dan pengisian air kolam menggunakan aplikasi smart kolam. Fokus penelitian penelitian ini adalah bagaimana cara merancang Sistem Monitoring Kualitas Air dan Otomatisasi Budidaya Ikan Gurame Berbasis IoT (Internet Of Things).
