Abstract

Tanah longsor merupakan salah satu bencana alam yang sering terjadi di daerah pegunungan, perbukitan, lereng yang curam, maupun tebing, serta pada permukaan tanah miring. Bukan hanya menjadi momok yang menakutkan bagi masyarakat karena dampaknya yang dapat merugikan secara moril maupun materil, tanah longsor juga menjadi salah satu bencana yang menakutkan bagi industri yang berada di kaki gunung maupun di lereng perbukitan seperti Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Panas Bumi. Berdasarkan peristiwa tersebut adanya alat pemantau kemiringan dan pergeseran tanah sangatlah dibutuhkan guna mencegah maupun meminimalisir kerugian akibat tanah longsor tersebut. Dengan menggunakan beberapa sensor seperti, sensor rotary encoder yang digunakan untuk mendeteksi pergerakan tanah secara horizontal, sensor Barometer BMP180 untuk mendeteksi pergerakan tanah secara vertikal, serta sensor Gyroscope GPU6050 untuk mendeteksi kemiringan tanah. Setelah terjadi pergerakan pada tanah dirasakan oleh sensor-sensor tersebut kontroller pada sensor tersebut akan mengirimkan data yang didapat ke LCD dan menuju ke rangkaian lain sebagai penerima melalaui perantara LoRA dengan menggunakan sinyal radio untuk kemudian disebar kebeberapa orang yang bertanggung jawab dengan menggunakan IOT berupa telegram. Pada rangkaian penerima ini terjadi proses pemilahan data yang diterima, dimana ketika data yang diterima melebihi ambang batas yang telah ditentukan maka akan langsung mengirimkan pesan yang berbunyi “AWAS RAWAN LONGSOR” sekaligus membunyikan buzzer yang terdapat pada rangkaian tersebut.

Abstract

The rest of the coffee harvest or coffee grounds are often not widely used by the community, even though the rest of the coffee harvest can still be used for various purposes, one of which is as a substitute for cement where coffee is a ponzolan material because it contains silica such as cement. The large number of leftover coffee harvests and the ease of obtaining these waste materials in large quantities allow it to be used as an alternative material to substitute cement. The purpose of this study was to determine the optimal temperature substitution of coffee grounds ash in cement against the compressive strength of Mortar with a temperature ratio of 400⁰C, 500⁰C and 600⁰C and to find out what the optimal composition of coffee grounds ash substitution with the ratio of the test object as much as 3 ratios 10%, 15% and 20% with a comparison of 3 specimens each at the age of testing for compressive strength of 7, 14, 21 and 28 days. Based on the test results of ages 7, 14, 21 and 28 days at a temperature of 400⁰C, 500⁰C and 600⁰C, the optimum value of the best combustion temperature is at 400⁰C and the best substitution mixture composition variation is 10% of coffee grounds ash mixture.

Abstract

This study explores the implementation of ergonomics principles and the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) as interventions to enhance the safety of motorcycle sidecar designs. Recognizing the critical role of ergonomics in optimizing human-machine interactions, the research investigates how ergonomic considerations can be integrated into the design process to mitigate safety risks associated with motorcycle sidecars. Additionally, the AHP methodology is employed to systematically prioritize and evaluate various design elements, incorporating expert opinions and stakeholder preferences. The research methodology involves a comprehensive analysis of existing sidecar designs, ergonomic assessments, and the development of a structured AHP framework. Through the integration of these two approaches, the study aims to identify and prioritize key safety parameters, such as stability, visibility, and rider comfort. Practical implications of the interventions are explored, considering both rider and passenger perspectives, with a focus on minimizing the potential for accidents and injuries. The findings of this research contribute valuable insights into the application of ergonomics and AHP in motorcycle sidecar design, offering a systematic and holistic approach to enhance safety. The outcomes have the potential to inform future design practices, industry standards, and regulatory guidelines, ultimately fostering the development of safer and more user-friendly motorcycle sidecars.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dari pengamatan awal pada postur kerja pemeras sari kedelai di salah satu pabrik tahu Bandungan, Kabupaten Semarang yang masih dilakukan secara manual. Tujuan penelitian adalah menganalisis risiko postur kerja karyawan saat memeras sari kedelai di pabrik tahu Bandungan – Semarang yang masih dilakukan secara manual, dan merancang usulan perbaikan proses untuk mengurangi risiko yang terjadi. Melalui melakukan pengamatan langsung dan pengaplikasian metoda REBA untuk penilaian risikonya, diperoleh skor REBA = 10 atau dikategorikan sebagai berisiko tinggi. Alat bantu selanjutnya dirancang untuk memperbaiki postur membungkuk, pengerahan tenaga saat memeras, dan posisi tangan. Penilaian risiko postur kerja saat menggunakan alat bantu yang telah menunjukkan skor REBA sebesar 5 untuk posisi awal penggunaan alat dan posisi akhirnya. Sehingga dapat dikatakan risiko telah menurun dari tinggi menjadi sedang. Namun perlu dikembangkan rancangan agar posisi tangan dan leher dapat lebih nyaman bagi pekerja.

Abstract

Traffic Impact Analysis involves assessing the effects caused by traffic resulting from the development of a particular area on the nearby transportation system. This study aims to evaluate the performance of road sections around the Swiss-Belhotel Pontianak vicinity. To achieve the goals and objectives of the study, it is necessary to develop a methodology that can systematically integrate all stages of the work process. Primary data is defined as data obtained through direct measurement or observation at the study location. Meanwhile, secondary data refers to data collected from other parties (individuals, agencies, institutions) without the need to conduct direct measurements or observations on-site. Based on the analysis results above, the performance of the existing road segments (weekend) shows the highest Volume to Capacity Ratio (VCR) on Pahlawan Street, reaching 1.02, with a Level of Service (LoS) of F. Meanwhile, the existing road performance in (weekday) indicates that the highest VCR is on Gajahmada Street, reaching 1.40, also with a Level of Service F. Based on the analysis, it can be concluded that due to the large number of road segments with poor Level of Service (LoS), several Do-Something scenarios need to be implemented to improve the LoS after the existing year. In this study, several recommendations are proposed to enhance the LoS, such as installing additional traffic signs and road markings or widening certain road segments.

Abstract

The cement industry plays a significant role in contributing to air pollution, primarily due to combustion and raw material processing that release particulate matter and gaseous pollutants. This research aims to evaluate the ambient air quality around the PT X cement plant in Wajok Hulu Village, Mempawah Regency, and to assess the air pollution level based on the Air Pollutant Standard Index (ISPU) in accordance with Regulation of the Minister of Environment and Forestry No. 14 of 2020. Measurements were conducted at two sampling points, production area and entrance area, with parameters including PM₁₀, PM₂.₅, SO₂, NO₂, CO, O₃, and HC. Air samples were collected using a High Volume Air Sampler (HVAS) and impinger for 24 hours, and the results were compared with the National Ambient Air Quality Standards as stipulated in Government Regulation No. 22 of 2021. The findings indicate that all parameters were below the permissible limits, with ISPU values under 50, categorized as “Good” air quality. The highest ISPU values were recorded for SO₂ and particulate matter (PM₁₀ and PM₂.₅), which are typical emissions from fuel combustion and cement raw material processing. These results suggest that the emission control systems at PT X are operating effectively; however, regular monitoring is necessary to maintain air quality stability. The study emphasizes the importance of implementing emission control technologies such as dust collectors, electrostatic precipitators, and green buffer zones around the plant area as mitigation strategies toward sustainable cement industry practices.

Abstract

Groundwater constitutes the source of potable water for communities in regions lacking access to piped water services, a category that includes Kubu Raya Regency, which is characterized by a peat and coastal ecosystem. The objective of this study is to analyze the suitability of groundwater as a source of clean water based on its organic matter content (KMnO₄). Samples were collected from 17 points, including dug wells (representing shallow groundwater) and bore wells (representing deep groundwater), employing the purposive sampling method. Laboratory analysis employed the permanganometry method in accordance with SNI 06-6989.22-2004. The findings indicated that the KMnO₄ content in peatlands was significantly higher than in coastal regions, with maximum concentrations exceeding 200 mg/L in dug wells in Rasau Jaya 2, Parit H. Muksin, and Kuala Dua. In coastal regions, the levels of KMnO₄ were predominantly below 50 milligrams per liter (mg/L). The analysis revealed that all samples exhibited levels of TDS that were below the permissible limit as stipulated in Permenkes No. 32 of 2017, which stipulates a maximum limit of 10 mg/L for KMnO₄. The values of KMnO₄ demonstrated a positive correlation with the intensity of water color and a negative correlation with increasing well depth. This condition is indicative of the profound impact of organic matter resulting from vegetation decomposition in peatlands and natural filtration processes in the deep soil layer. The analysis indicates that groundwater in both areas is not suitable for direct use without treatment. To ensure safe and sustainable clean water, oxidation, coagulation-flocculation, and multiple-layered filtration processes tailored to local characteristics are required.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang model Internet of Things (IoT) guna meningkatkan keamanan data tamu di Hotel Maximus Palembang dengan menggunakan kerangka kerja manajemen risiko ISO 31000. Penelitian ini mengidentifikasi risiko, menganalisis dampaknya, dan mengembangkan arsitektur IoT yang terintegrasi dengan kontrol keamanan. Hasilnya mencakup matriks risiko dan rekomendasi kebijakan untuk memperkuat perlindungan data. Model ini diharapkan dapat mendukung tata kelola berbasis risiko yang aman dan terstandarisasi di sektor perhotelan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang program pengembangan karir karyawan guna meningkatkan retensi tenaga kerja di PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Divisi Regional III Palembang. Permasalahan utama yang diidentifikasi adalah tingginya potensi turnover karyawan akibat keterbatasan jalur pengembangan karir yang terstruktur. Metode yang digunakan mencakup observasi langsung, wawancara dengan pihak sumber daya manusia, analisis deskriptif, serta perancangan sistem berbasis model pengembangan karir yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan organisasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program pengembangan karir yang terintegrasi dengan analisis kebutuhan pelatihan, jalur jenjang karir yang jelas, serta evaluasi berkala mampu meningkatkan kepuasan kerja dan loyalitas karyawan. Kesimpulannya, implementasi program ini berpotensi menurunkan niat resign dan memperkuat retensi karyawan, serta mendorong kinerja organisasi yang lebih berkelanjutan.
