Abstract

Art Craft Lakuer Tepak Sirih Palembang, a cultural heritage of the past is handed down from generation to generation. The craft has a wide range of products that serve as a means of household fittings such as plates, tins, trays, betel slap and others. As for becoming the focal point of the author are Art Craft Lakuer Tepak Sirih Palembang. Historically craft Lakuer Palembang was originally brought by traders from the Chinese and India around the 6th century AD whose purpose is as a tribute or a prize given to the kings of Srivijaya, while traditions chewing or menginang in South Sumatra, especially in Palembang estimated in the 6th century until the 7th century AD this tradition influenced by Hindu-Buddhist culture which was followed by the Arabs. As artepak culture, the existence of such craft should be appreciated as works of art valued craft classic. The values contained in it is a reflection of the value of the historical, social, cultural and aesthetic. Visually, Art Craft Lakuer Tepak Sirih Palembang resemble the shape of truncated pyramid, with a slope of approximately 25 degrees, with a form of decoration in the form of animal motifs distilir and plants motif. Overall physical form (visual) this craft also emerged from the shades of color, such as dark golden brown, crimson red and golden yellow and combination black ink china. Each of these colors give shape (visual effects) with the uniqueness of each. In terms of functionality, this craft discount variety of functions, among which are a function of social, cultural and decorative objects (as works of craft art in terms of art crafts). Overall it can be said craft craft unique, different from the craft in most other areas, especially in Sumatra. In particular goal of this study is to know and understand the forms and functions that exist in the craft Lakuer Tepak betel Palembang. This study is expected to be the starting point for the author to learn more about the craft Lakuer Palembang in general, especially in this case are Art Craft Lakuer Tepak Sirih Palembang, either through research or in the form of product development as a work valuable cultural and economic value, thus. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the semiotics of an OLX commercial named with “Former became Blessing”. It examined the relationship of laying camera angle in influencing message delivered by a TVC and how the cinematography is used as a visual rhetoric. The study was conducted qualitatively by semiotic analysis approach to the film. It analyzed by using a diachronic view of signifier and the signified. This study reveals the meanings contained in the TVC OLX.co.id “Former became Blessing”. By using one of the theories of Ferdinand de Saussure, TVC is the subject of the study authors described a scene. Presented through tables and also in the form of a paragraph so that the reader can follow the process of analysis that has been done by researchers.  Keywords: commercial, semiotics, film, cinematography

Abstract

Mural is any piece of artwork painted or applied directly on a wall, ceiling other large permanent surface. There are some messages to be conveyed by the makers of mural. It’s to create the condition around him to express of aesthetic, social, and cultural. By this process, it will begin of  aesthetic politic and others. The aesthetic is process of effort and making of art to the real thing. Abstract

As one of the art and cultural heritages of the archipelago, Palembang’s lacquer put its position as a creative media for artists to work. With all the advantages and uniqueness, palembang’s lacquer still survive and exist from time to time to be recognized and studied as a science of art. As a natural creative media, Palembang’s lacquer is an alternative for the artists or designers from various branches of scientific art to try and apply the new skill and creativity in creating a work. Abstract

Yoga is a way to achieve harmony and balance the mind. In the program Seven Spiritual Laws of Yoga aims to achieve success is a natural law that is applied to the human exsperiece. Yoga is a series of principles that create what has not materialized be realized. Yoga poses made in the depiction of human life, therefore in the process of creating works of yoga poses are in though as the source of the idea of creation into a work of art. Source of inspiration in this work is a yoga pose from The Seven Spiritual Laws of Yoga. The findings in this creation is the incorporation of wood circles 2cm diameter and 2.3 cm in the work of art. "Yoga Pose In Kriya work" is expected to enrich the artistic creation of the circle unique wood and characteristics, arouse awareness of the audience towards the aesthetic works to absorb the meaning contained in the artwork. Keywords : Yoga Pose, wood craft

Abstract

In the essence of painting was not out of line and color, it was very important in a painting. Line was a basic element in art that mean more than just a scratch, Role lines were very important in the process embodiment form, because the line determines the quality of expression of an artist who appeared in strokes or in granting certain accentuation on the object creation. When the line was structured, such as arranged through rhythm, symmetry, balance would form certain patterns so that the line was able to speak as a medium of expression. Likewise with color, an outline of the meaning of the colors that we could actually described its. With a record if the colors were in a state of stand alone or be dominant compared with other colors. Scientifically, understanding of color was an electromagnetic wave that led to our eyes were translated by the brain as a color. In other words, the colors were also something to do with human emotions. And it could cause psychological influence. Keywords : Expression, Emotion, line, colour.

Abstract

Logically naturally social function is the usefulness of a thing for the life of a society and a culture of creativity, taste and human initiative in meeting their needs are complex. Wholly includes knowledge belief, art, customary law, every conversation and habits. In my opinion is one of the traditional arts community culture that has existed and evolved from the first until now, traditional arts became one of the community needs either a primary or secondary. Stringed musical ensamble became the pride of the people of Riau did have game concept and distinctive musical compositions typified the spirit that is rooted in the life of the people of Riau. When talking about the use of music, of course we are referring to the way the music is used or to what is usually the music, either from the instrument itself or its relationship with various other community activities. The social function of music in society with symbols sing a song on someone’s lover, used in this way and other functions globally to pray to a god or singing call (capture) animal. Abstract

Humans are creatures of culture all upload their work to give effect to the environment around it. The realization of these activities give shape and structure in accordance with the new physical and spiritual needs. Man in her life has always had a passion for beauty. The beauty desire tertuangkan one of them in the form of ornaments. this can be seen from the activity Kerinci ancestors who already know how to decorate a decorative ornament in the form contained in laheik house in the village of SelemanKab. Kerinci-Jambi. Humans in general are always exploit and use ornaments as will efforts to realize the beauty of its objects. Human activities in the use of ornaments can be seen from the objects left behind as nekara, vessel, traditional house, Rumaharrayand so forth. All of it is a form of visual created by the use of motifs as the added value of the beauty of the object. The process of creation can not be separated from the influence of the surrounding natural environment that has changed the shape of the original.Study ornament array house in which there are two fundamental elements that shape and structure.
