Abstract

Study of the stability of the power system as an important and complex problem in the operation of a power system that is safe from the power system when there are small or large disruptions in the connected power system. This discussion studies load flow and stability analysis while a multi-machine power system with ETAP software.Single diagram system multi-engine system 9-bus system configured in ETAP. For  each multi-machine power system power flow and power flow analysis have been provided a complete tool in ETAP.The results of the load flow data are presented for each case. For the transient stability analysis, the system is simulated with three phase disturbance to earth and single phase interference in ETAP. The combination of AVR, Governor, and PSS maintains synchronization during all types of errors. Variations in rotor angle, bus voltage, and engine speed were studied in each case study. Simulation results are shown through graphical analysis. In the ETAP simulation study explains that the application of PSS can substantially improve the transient stability of the power system.

Abstract

Surja (surge) Petir merupakan faktor yang lebih dominan dalam menimbulkan tegangan lebih transien pada jaringan tenaga listrik dengan tingkat tegangan di bawah 230 kV, dibandingkan dengan faktor surja hubung. Untuk menentukan penempatan arrester diketahui dari pencarian data gangguan yang terjadi di PT.PLN (Persero) Rayon Sidayu karena kadar tanah lembab dan banyak pohon-pohon besar pada feeder Lowayu. Oleh karena itu, pemahaman tentang pengaruh sambaran petir yang terjadi di jaringan distribusi tegangan menengah 20 kV sangat diperlukan agar efek sambaran petir bisa diantisipasi sehingga peralatan dan komponen yang ada di jaringan ditribusi tersebut tidak rusak. Pada penelitian ini, dilakukan simulasi sambaran petir terhadap jaringan distribusi tegangan menengah 20 kV Feeder (penyulang) Lowayu pada PT.PLN (Persero) Rayon Sidayu.. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa tagangan lebih di tunjukan program ATP adalah 67 kV. Nilai tersebut juga bisa dihitung dengan teori gelombang berjalan dan gelombang pantul dan terjadi tegangan lebih di fasa trafo 291 adalah 66,25 kV sehingga erorr yang terjadi ketika surge petir mencapai 1,1875%.

Abstract

Microstrip is being developed in various wireless applications, one of them is the WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network). In this study,  "m" slot was added to the center of the rectangular patch microstrip antenna which is designed using FR4 Epoxy material, also 2.4 GHz WLAN frequency band covered by the antenna. The thickness of the patch material is 1,5mm and the dielectric constant is 4,3. The Antenna is designed and simulated using CST Microwave Studio software. By changing the position of the microstrip antenna slot, several antenna parameter values were obtained including gain, return loss, bandwidth, and VSWR (Voltage Standing Wave Ratio). The microstrip antenna simulation results showed the best return loss value of -37.46 dB, VSWR of 1.027 at the resonant frequency of 2.446 GHz, and presented a gain of 3.43 dBi. From the results, the use of   "m" slot has several effecs of increasing the return loss value up to 42.63% and bandwidth by 5.17%.

Abstract

Berkembangnya ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi yang terbaru pada zaman sekarang ini semakin banyak memberikan kemudahan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Dimana segala hal yang banyak diterapkan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi dengan mesin ataupun elektronika, sehingga pekerjaan manusia dapat dikerjakan dengan mudah tanpa harus membuang tenaga dan menghemat waktu. Berbagai alat rumah tangga hingga alat-alat pekerjaan banyak yang sudah menggunakan alat elektronik tersebut, sehingga pekerjaan manusia jauh lebih ringan dan mudah. Sebagai salah satu contoh pemanfaatan frekuensi radio yang bukan hanya dimanfaatkan sebagai sarana komunikasi juga dapat sebagai pengendali jarak jauh. Yang juga di padukan dengan sensor infrared sebagai pengaman system, serta di lengkapi dengan SCR sebagai saklar aktif. Salah satu sistem kemudahan yang dimiliki pintu gerbang ini adalah sistem kendali buka pintu gerbang dengan remote. Dengan menekan saklar pada remote control pintu gerbang atau garasi dapat kita kendalikan membuka atau menutup tanpa menarik atau mendorongnya, dan juga di tambahkan satu fitur sebagai saklar reset, yang berguna untuk menghentikan putaran motor-motor DC. System kerja alat ini menggunakan pemancar dan penerima radio RF yang berfrekuensi 40 MHz ,dengan mengirimkan pulsa-pulsa dengan menggunakan IC TX-2 T1143 sebagai pengirim sinyal pulsa dan IC RX-2 30905286 yang berjarak kurang dari 10 m.

Abstract

The house is a place to take refuge, gather with family so that everyone must have a dream to have a safe and comfortable home. Now, where technological developments are very rapid, technology plays a role in building dream homes that increase the comfort of residents. The purpose of the research is to make the Smarthome system use an Android application based on the Atmega 328 microcontroller via Bluetooth.In this study the qualitative method was carried out by conducting some research, research, measurement, and conducting several experiments with Bluetooth and Android modules. The results of this study can turn on and turn off the home lights remotely through a bluetooth module with a range of 10 meters which is controlled by an android application. So that the tool can make it easier for residents of the house to control remote lights.

Abstract

Department of  Husbandry and Animal Health (Disnakkeswan) Probolinggo, is a government agency that has data on livestock, one of which is the location mapping data for the stables. This data is needed by Disnakkeswan and the general public to find information on the location of the livestock sheds in the Probolinggo district. Currently, the data on the location of the cage which is owned by the agency is still in the form of excel table data. This creates difficulties for the Animal Husbandry and Animal Health Service (Disnakkeswan) and the general public when looking for information on the location of the livestock pen. Among other things, the difficulty made them have to waste time finding the location of the farm stables. Given the roles and responsibilities of the Department of Animal Husbandry and Animal Health (Disnakkeswan) Probolinggo Regency above, an application is needed that will support or facilitate this task. The information presented in the Geographical Information System mapping the location of livestock stalls is the location of the co-ordinates for beef cattle, dairy and ducks. which can provide information about the location (stables) of the farm in the form of a map using a geographic information system with QGis Cloud.

Abstract

The progress of power electronics application technology, harmonic pollution in the electrical power system network is increasing seriously, having a serious impact on the energy supply network and equipment. In this discussion, the author studied harmonic characteristics, analysis of harmonic detection methods using wavelet algorithms with Matlab. The results of the simulation show that wavelet transforms can compose harmonic components that are settled in the system according to their needs.

Abstract

Traffic analysis and monitoring is needed to improve network service quality by using statistical analysis to obtain traffic characteristics. These statistics provide important signals about service quality and network throughput. Because of the heterogeneity of the bandwidth requirements of the traffic flow resulting from different applications, the resulting data can be used to determine the nature of IP traffic and to consider its characteristics. The first data type is data available from the Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) to the network nodes. The second is from IP current monitoring. The combination of these two data types provides a solid foundation for traffic analysis and monitoring. Which in this case we will apply to Mikrotik, dude applications, Internet of Things, Social Media, Website, SNMP, Probe, Zabbix, Security Information and Event Management (SIEM).Monitoring results are displayed in graphical form on the Network Monitoring System Web Application, so that users can find out more information. The network monitoring system developed is also very effective because the packet sent in one transaction is very small, which is 309 bytes when compared to the larger SNMP protocol. The results of the configuration of hardware and software with Zabbix NMS went well with the success of monitoring the service by detecting status changes on each host with 2 ownership statuses Ok and Warning. The availability value is influenced by the Uptime and Downtime of a device. The greater the Uptime value, the greater the availability value. The availability test results show that the application made has an error rate of 0% when compared with the calculation results. Using a network monitoring system using the SNMP protocol on the Mikrotik router and dude application, can help in network management

Abstract

Distribution system is divided into primary and secondary distribution networks. The primary distribution network is the network of the substation to the distribution, while the secondary distribution is the channel network from the substation transformer is distributed to the consumer or the load. Primary distribution network is better known as medium voltage network (JTM 20kV) while secondary distribution is low voltage network (JTR 220 / 380V). The distribution network is part of the power system closest to the customer or the load compared to the transmission network.At this time PT. PLN (Persero) experiencing power loss that occurs at the point of connection of low voltage on the use of pierching connector. This study is to analyze the calculation of loss of  power at low voltage network (JTR) by doing comparison of measurement between input with output at connection point of pierching connector with line tap connector. For  conditions required evaluation and analysis for replanning that takes into account the planning criteria such as voltage  drop and take into account the loss of power.

Abstract

A fault of transmission lines in the process of transmitting electricity has a huge impact. One of the impacts of the disruption in August 2019 on the island of Java was the partial blackout in the Java-Bali electricity system due to contingency of the 500 kV Pemalang-Ungaran and Depok-Tasikmalaya transmission lines. Prevention of partial blackouts is required by devising defense schemes that can compensate for the impact of these contingency events. Defense schemes can be done by doing load shedding and generator tripping. Both methods are able to evacuate a large amount of power in a relatively fast time, so that it can improve the frequency value in a short time. The system frequency response has experienced recovery with an increase in frequency in the West Java Island and a decrease in the frequency in the East Java Island. The result of load shedding is the disconnection of 6 load buses in 5 main stages of the system and the result of generator tripping is the disconnection of 2-unit generators in 2 stages of the system.
