Abstract

Abstrak: Pengembangan bidang pendidikan hingga saat ini masih menjadi perhatian pemerintah,  khususnya pendidikan di daerah terpencil. Tentunya peran pemerintah perlu dibantu dengan partisipasi masyarakat luas yang salah satunya adalah Gerakan Indonesia Mengajar. Tujuan dari kajian ini untuk mengetahui strategi dan dampak program pemberdayaan masyarakat yang berkelanjutan di bidang pendidikan yang dilakukan oleh Pengajar Muda Indonesia Mengajar di Kabupaten Paser. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi kasus. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kegiatan pemberdayaan ini berfokus pada bidang pendidikan melalui pendekatan pembelajaran sekolah dan terlibat dengan aktivitas masyarakat setempat serta membantu membangun jejaring dengan berbagai stakeholder lain. Program yang berlangsung selama 5 tahun sejak tahun 2010-2015, ternyata dampak dan manfaatnya masih berkelanjutan hingga saat ini. Temuan ini juga membuktikan bahwa program yang terencana dan melibatkan kolaborasi multi stakeholder berdampak jangka panjang, yaitu mampu membangun keberdayaan masyarakat sehingga berdampak pada peningkatan kualitas hidup masyarakat.  Abstract:  The development of the education sector is still a concern of the government, especially education in remote areas. Of course, the role of the government needs to be assisted with the participation of the wider community, one of which is the Indonesian Teaching Movement. The purpose of this study is to determine the strategy and impact of sustainable community empowerment programs in the field of education carried out by Young Indonesian Teaching Teachers in Paser Regency. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach with case studies. The results of the study indicate that this empowerment activity focuses on the field of education through a school learning approach and is involved with local community activities and helps build networks with various other stakeholders. The program which lasted for 5 years from 2010-2015, it turns out that the impact and benefits are still ongoing today. This finding also proves that a program that is planned and involves multi-stakeholder collaboration will have a long-term impact, able to build community empowerment so that it has an impact on improving the quality of life of the community.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan: 1) Mengetahui keterlibatan peserta didik dalam pembelajaran geografi menggunakan Edmodo. 2) Menguji pengaruh penerapan Edmodo terhadap hasil pembeajaran geografi. Penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dengan desain control group pretest-posttes. Penelitian dilaksanakan di kelas X SMA N 4 Sigi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) keterlibatan peserta didik pada pembelajaran geografi menggunakan Edmodo lebih tinggi dengan rata-rata 95,14%, daripada keterlibatan peserta didik pada pembelajaran geografi menggunakan WhatsApp dengan rata-rata 70,83%. 2) Hasil belajar kelas eksperimen, nilai rata rata hasil belajar 83,50 lebih tinggi dari nilai rata-rata kelas kontrol yaitu 78,44. Hasil postes kelas eksperimen pada kualifikasi baik sekali 24 peserta didik, kualifikasi baik 12 peserta didik, sedangkan pada kelas kontrol kualifikasi baik sekali 9 peserta didik, kualifikasi baik 15 peserta didik dan kualifikasi cukup 12 peserta didik. Maka Edmodo terbukti lebih efektif dari pada Whatsapp untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran daring di masa pandemic Covid 19. Abstract: This study aims to: 1) Determine the involvement of students in learning geography using Edmodo. 2) Testing the effect of the application of Edmodo on the results of geography learning. This study is a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group. The research was conducted in class X SMA N 4 Sigi. The results showed: 1) the involvement of students in learning geography using Edmodo was higher with an average of 95.14%, than the involvement of students in learning geography using WhatsApp with an average of 70.83%. 2) The learning outcomes of the experimental class, the average value of learning outcomes is 83.50, which is higher than the average value of the control class, which is 78.44. The post-test results for the experimental class were very good qualifications of 24 students, good qualifications of 12 students, while in the control class the qualifications were very good 9 students, good qualifications of 15 students and sufficient qualifications of 12 students. So Edmodo has proven to be more effective than Whatsapp for use in online learning during the Covid 19 pandemic.
