Abstract

Waqf is an Islamic financial instrument that has great potential to contribute to social and economic development. However, its utilization in the context of environmental sustainability, or what is known as Green Waqf, is still not optimal. This study aims to analyze strategies for utilizing the wakaf instrument to support environmental sustainability through Green Wakaf. The research method employed is a qualitative literature review, examining various concepts of wakaf, green finance, and their implementation in various countries. The results of the study indicate that there are several strategies that can be applied to optimize Green Wakaf. First, a funding strategy, which involves combining cash wakaf and productive wakaf to finance environmentally friendly projects such as renewable energy, waste management, and organic farming. Second, a partnership strategy, which involves collaborating between wakaf institutions, the government, the private sector, and civil society to increase the scale and impact of projects. Third, product innovation strategy, namely by developing new waqf models that are relevant to environmental issues, such as green stock waqf and green sukuk. The implementation of these strategies is expected to make Green Waqf an effective Islamic financial instrument to promote sustainable development. Thus, waqf not only plays a role in poverty alleviation, but also becomes a concrete solution in overcoming global environmental challenges.Keywords: Waqf, Islamic Finance, Green Waqf, Environmental Sustainability, Green Finance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work discipline and compensation on employee performance at the Gowa Regent's Office. The underlying phenomenon of this research is the persistence of employees who exhibit low levels of discipline, such as late arrivals and non-compliance with work procedures, as well as dissatisfaction with the compensation system, which is perceived as not commensurate with the workload. The research method used was quantitative with multiple linear regression analysis. The population in this study was 787 employees, and based on calculations using the Slovin formula with a 10% error rate, a sample of 89 respondents was obtained. Data were collected through a questionnaire consisting of variables of work discipline, compensation, and employee performance. The results showed that work discipline had a positive and significant effect on employee performance, meaning that the higher the level of discipline, the better the performance displayed. Compensation also has a positive and significant impact on employee performance, where a fair and appropriate compensation system can increase employee motivation. Abstract

Masalah anak putus sekolah merupakan isu sosial yang signifikan di Kecamatan Alafan, Kabupaten Simeulue, yang berpotensi meningkatkan kemiskinan dan ketimpangan sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor penyebab, peran, serta upaya Dinas Sosial dalam penanganan anak putus sekolah di lokasi penelitian. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengambilan sampel purposive. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor penyebab putus sekolah bersifat multidimensi, meliputi ekonomi, sosial budaya, fasilitas pendidikan, serta lingkungan dan motivasi anak. Peran Dinas Sosial tidak terbatas pada bantuan material, tetapi mencakup aspek pemberdayaan, pembinaan, dan kolaborasi lintas sektor. Upaya pencegahan yang dilakukan meliputi pendataan, bantuan sosial, pemberdayaan keluarga, penyuluhan, dan kolaborasi. Simpulan penelitian menekankan pentingnya pendekatan komprehensif dan berkelanjutan dalam menekan angka putus sekolah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji pengaruh lokasi, fasilitas, desain, dan harga terhadap keputusan penyewa dalam memilih kos di kota. Dengan meningkatnya permintaan akan tempat tinggal sementara di kalangan mahasiswa dan profesional muda, preferensi pemilihan tempat tinggal dipengaruhi oleh ekspektasi sosial dan fungsional. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif melalui analisis regresi linier berganda, temuan menunjukkan bahwa lokasi dan desain memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan sewa, sedangkan fasilitas dan harga tidak menunjukkan pengaruh yang berarti. Ketidakberartian harga sebagai faktor penentu menantang asumsi ekonomi konvensional dan menunjukkan pergeseran perilaku konsumen, di mana nilai pengalaman dan ruang lebih diutamakan dibandingkan pertimbangan biaya. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penyewa lebih mengutamakan kenyamanan, daya tarik estetika, dan aksesibilitas strategis daripada harga yang terjangkau. Oleh karena itu, pengelola properti sebaiknya memfokuskan pada kualitas desain dan pengalaman pengguna.Kata kunci : : sewa rumah kos, lokasi, desain, harga, preferensi konsumen, hunian sementara
