Abstract

The main tasks of lecturers in education is mentoring. Topics mentoring can be anything, including the related to their academic achievement. This research is the development of previously conducted research using a qualitative approach to sample 5 student informants. The study resulted in the finding that the lecturer's role as a mentor is needed in the educational environment entepreneurship. The aim of this study was conducted to see mentoring influence lecturer with student achievement increased done with quantitative approach. Data was collected using purposive sampling. The criteria used is minimal student academic mentoring activities three times in the first half had been a student with a minimum of 1 year and students are students majoring in Management University Ciputra. The result mentoring has a positive influence on students' academic achievement as students are encouraged to get the best value according to their targets.Keywords: mentoring, student academic achievement, entrepreneurship, education environment

Abstract

Fulfilling the food stock became as one of the strategic role agriculture Being the most important part as motors local economy. As illustrated the demand for rice in Badung regency which has population 602.700, and rate of rice consumption 91,88 kg percapita/year is 55.376,08 ton/year The future policy of national development in the agricultural sector is faced with a change of political order and the globalization challange. The aim of this study is to determine the competitiveness of paddy in terms of the cost of domestic resources, analyzed the government's policy regarding the protection to the producers, and other policies related to improving the competitiveness of the comodities in order to achieve food self-sufficiency in Badung regency. Data was collected by proporsional random sampling and Policy Analysis Matrix=PAM was developed for further analysis. The result showed that farmer’s activity in Badung still have competitive in financial and comparative advantage. However, the incorporation effect of policy transfer showing that both farmers and comodity system encounter 24% of declining protection. Financial and economic competitive was susceptive to exchance rate, price of output, subsidy of input and declining of prodcutivity. The output policy from anticipate depreciation of rupiah still not prosper to farmers. output subsidy that is equivalent to the it shadow price urged to do.Keywords: Depreciation, competitive, protection, paddy, Badung regency.

Abstract

Achievement motivation is an encouragement in a person to do a particular task or activity or task as well as possible in order to achieve a commendable achievement with honors. Seeing these indications, the performance of employees in the Motor Car Autotama Karangasem is influenced by several variables. One of them is the achievement motivation, but how much the relationship or the determination of achievement motivation on employee performance Autotama Motor Cars is not certain. Therefore, this study will examine the determination of achievement motivation on employee performance Autotama Car Motor Karangasem Data achievement motivation and performance of employees that have been collected tabulated the mean, median, mode, the range, scale and standard deviation of data concerning achievement motivation and performance of employees. Statistical analysis was used to test the hypothesis with a simple linear regression. The stages of the analysis conducted in this study is a description of the data. Qualification data description achievement motivation and performance of employees, also using univariant analysis. This analysis is based on the average score of the ideal (Mi) and the ideal standard deviation (SDi). As well as this analysis also includes testing requirements analysis and hypothesis testing. The analysis showed that there was a significant correlation between the Achievement Motivation Employee Performance through the equation of the line y = -36.800 + 0.632 X with Freg = 43.015 (p <0.05). In the present study found a significant correlation between the achievement motivation employee performance at 0.691 with p <0.05. This means that the better the achievement motivation of employees, the better the performance of the employee. Achievement motivation variables could explain the higher performance of employees amounted to 47.8%. These findings indicate that achievement motivation has an important role in improving employee performance. Normatively found that achievement motivation as very good in the category means an employee has shown excellent achievement motivation in carrying out his job. From the correlation analysis it is evident that significant determination between the achievement motivation employee performance. It needs to be maintained to keep employees comfortable and satisfied in performing everyday tasks so that corporate objectives will be achieved.Key Words: achievement motivation, employee performance, Autotama Motor Cars, corporate objective

Abstract

CV. Baja Utama Landasan Ulin is a business entity that manufactures various products using the basic ingredients of iron. In the management of raw materials for the production of common regulatory process raw materials into sections for further processing. This setting is often done manually without doing careful planning, so that at the end of each production process there are many remaining pieces of the raw materials that should be used in production. In addition to the determination of the production is necessary to reference how the product should be made for each type of existing products. This is often an important factor that pushed for the optimization of production planning in determining the number of products for each type of product and raw material consumption.Linear Programming is one of the methods used in production planning to regulate the use of raw materials is limited. Simplex method is part of the linear programming method that can be used in the production planning system implementation. Simplex method identifies an initial basic solution and then move systematically to other basic solution that has the potential to improve the value of the objective function.The calculation result of production planning using the simplex method can be used as a reference in the decision making production planning. By building an application using the simplex method can assist in the calculation of production peencanaan more efficiently and effectively. Accuracy testing system constructed show significant results with great value reached 94% level of accuracy.Keywords: simplex, production planning, the maximum gain, linear programming

Abstract

This study examined the antecendets of Customer Based Retail Brand Equity (CBRE) such as retail brand awareness, retail brand association, retail brand perceived quality and retail brand loyalty on retail brand equity. Results of testing the hypothesis (t-test) found that variables retail brand awareness and retail brand association does not significantly influence on retail brand equity. While the other variables are retail brand perceived quality and retail brand loyalty has significantly influence on retailer brand equity.Retail brand perceived quality and retail brand loyalty must be considered by the retail businesses because it has a greater influence in creating the Retail Brand Equity (RBE). Abstract

Related to the performance of the homebase lecturers  at the Faculty of Communications and Business, Telkom University, in conduct the Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi (Three Pillars of Tertiary Education), research and community service feels lacking. That is why this research is intended to know the performance condition also to see the factors that encourage and the factors that are dominant towards the performance of fixed lecturers at the Faculty of Communications and Business in Telkom University. The method that is used  in this research is descriptive analysis with factor analysis technique. The type of this research is quantitative research. The respondants in this research are the fixed lecturers at the Faculty of Communications and Business in Telkom University. The research data is obtained by distributing questionnaires towards 70 respondants and literature review. Based on the descriptive analysis result, fixed lecturers performance in the "good" category is about 77%. Factor analysis results states that ability factor, organizational structure factor, background factor, and perception factor are the factors that encourage the performance of the fixed lecturers at the Faculty of Communications and Business in Telkom University. The ability factor which is representated by attitude, motivation, expertise, discipline, effectivity, and efficiency factors has the highest value % of variance that is about 34,837%. Organizational structure factor which is representated by resource, leadership, work experience, and work design factor has the value % of variance about 10,588%. Background factor which is representated by initiative and demography factor has the value % of variance about 8,533% while the perception factor has the value % of variance about 7,630%.Keyword:Performance, Factor Analysis, Faculty of Communications and Business in Telkom University, lecturer performance
