Abstract

The quality and yield of cabbage can be improved through fertilization, one of which is duck manure as an alternative fertilizer and the addition of husk ash to get optimal results in the lebak wetland. This study aims to determine the doses of dung manure on the growth and yield of cabbage plants. This research was conducted in May-August 2018, located in Teluk Sarikat Village, Banjang District, Hulu Sungai Utara Regency. The study was conducted using a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with a single factor consisting of 5 levels with five treatments. The factors tested were dung manure doses. Observation data were analyzed by variance and DMRT follow-up at 5% level. The results showed that dosing manure with various doses had an affect plant height and several number of leaves but did not affect the weight of the cabbage crop and around the cabbage crop. The best dose of duck manure for the growth of cabbage plants is 10 tons. Ha-1 equivalent to 40 g / polybag (k1).

Abstract

This study is aimed to determine the factors that influence the demand of organic rice and its elasticity in Hulu Sungai Utara. This research was conducted in Amuntai City. Data collection was carried out from October 2018 to January 2019. The analysis us is multiple linear regression analysis from the results of calculations using the regression equation Y = 2.564 + 0.002 (X1) + 1.025 (X2) - 0.223 (X3) - 1,511 (X4) + 0.196 (X5) + 0.003 (X6). The results of the analysis for regression obtained F-count 2.672 > F-table 2.53 thus the hypothesis which states that the variable of education level, income, tastes / habits, number of dependents, price of organic rice, and prices of other goods (non-organic rice) have an effect simultaneously to the demand for organic rice. While significantly obtain the results of t test where the value of t-calculation is 2.460 > t-table 1.713. The elasticity of demand for static models is based on price elasticity, the price of organic rice is elastic (7.32 > 1). Based on cross elasticity, the price of other goods (organic rice) is elastic (5.27 > 1). Based on income elasticity, respondents' income is elastic (702,615 > 1).

Abstract

Soybeans will usually grow well at an altitude of no more than 500 to 600 m above sea level. The dry climate is preferred by soybean plants compared to the humid climate. Straw is a vegetative part of rice plants (stems, leaves, pan stalks) that are not collected when the rice plants are harvested. -One of the bokashi rice straw organic fertilizers. Bokashi rice straw contains some essential organic elements needed by plants. Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR), is one of the biological agents that has been widely used and tested to control various plant pathogens, utilizing bamboo roots as decomposers because in the bamboo roots there are bacteria Pseudomonas flourescent and Bacillus polymixa which can help the fermentation process. The aim of the study (i) was to find out the effect of giving and (ii) to get the best bokashi rice straw dose on the growth and yield of soybean plants. The study was carried out in Pembakulan Village Batang Alai Timur District, Hulu Sungai Tengah Regency from April to August 2018. This study used a single factor randomized design (RBD), grouping based on sunlight distribution. The factors examined were 4 bokashi rice straw doses (j) consisting of j1 = 1.3 kg per plot, j2 = 2.6 kg plot, j3 = 3.9 kg per plot and j4 = 5.2 kg per plot plot. Factors observed were plant height, leaf number, flowering age, number of pods, number of seeds, and dry weight of 100 soybeans. The results of the study did not indicate the effect of bokashi rice straw on soybean plants.

Abstract

This study aims to determine (i) the comparative advantage of food crop commodities and food crop base sectors, (ii) competitive advantages of food crops and competitive and non-competitive areas, (ii) strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of rural food-based rural development in Amuntai Utara District, Hulu Sungai Utara Regency. The study was conducted on November 2018 - January 2019 in Amuntai Utara District Hulu Sungai Utara Regency with the research method used was descriptive qualitative and quantitative methods. Based on the results of the study, the LQ value in the North Amuntai Subdistrict has a base sector and non-base sector in food crop commodities; shift-share analysis shows that competitive commodities of rice food plants with a value of 0.12 and corn with a value of 0.56; SWOT analysis was obtained from an analysis of internal factors (IFAS) of 2,832 and external factor analysis (EFAS) of 2,45, hence the development of rural areas based on food crops was in quadrant I (supporting aggressive strategies)

Abstract

Cucumber plants, including vines, are popular with the wider community. Hulu Sungai Tengah Regency is dominated by red-yellow podzolic soil types which have problems such as sandy clay soil structure, low permeability, poor soil aeration, acidic reacting soil, water holding capacity, nutrients and low cation exchange capacity. The effort that can be done is by giving organic material produced from a mixture of earthworm media with earthworm feces. The purpose of this study (i) was to see the effect of vermicompost administration and (ii) to get the best dose of vermicompost administration on the growth and production of cucumber plants on red-yellow podzolic soil. This research was conducted in Teluk Mesjid Village, Haruyan District, Hulu Sungai Tengah District, South Kalimantan Province. This research was conducted in April-June 2015, using a single randomized block design (RBD), with five treatment levels and five groups so that there were 25 experimental units. The treatments that were tried were vermicompost doses namely (v0) 0 t.ha-1, (v1) 10 t.ha-1, (v2) 20 t.ha-1, (v3) 30 t.ha-1, and (v4 ) 40 t.ha-1. The variables observed were planting length, number of leaves, stem diameter, flowering time, number of fruits, and wet weight of fruit crops. The results showed the treatment had a significant effect on the stem diameter variable age 21 day after planting (DAP), flowering time, number of cucumber fruit, and had a very significant effect on the cucumber wet weight but did not affect plant length 7, 14 and 21 DAP, number of leaves aged 7, 14 and 21 DAP, stem diameter aged 7 and 14 DAP. The best treatment for vermicompost for cucumber plants is (v1) 10 t.ha-1.

Abstract

Cultivation of peanut plants in lebak wetlands is constrained by inundated land and the fertility of varied soil, from fertile to nutrient-poor levels. Poor soil nutrients can not only be overcome by fertilizing, for example with manure chicken manure. The availability of nutrients in the land can be improved by providing ameliorats such as rice husk ash. This study aims to determine the effect of (i) the interaction of chicken manure manure and rice husk ash, (ii) the single factor of chicken manure manure, (iii) the single factor of rice husk ash, (iv) getting the best dose of chicken manure manure, ( v) the best dose of rice husk ash and (vi) the best interaction of manure chicken manure and rice husk ash on lebak wetland. The study was conducted in the village of Teluk Betung, Sungai Pandan Subdistrict, HSU Regency in February - May 2019. It was using a factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD) with two treatment factors. The first factor: the dose of chicken manure, consisting of 3 levels, namely a1 = 12 tons. ha-1, a2 = 16 tons. ha-1, a3 = 20 tons. ha-1. The second factor: the dose of rice husk ash, consisting of 3 levels, namely s1 = 24 tons.ha-1, s2 = 28 tons.ha-1, s3 = 32 tons.ha-1. The results showed that the interaction between chicken manure had no effect on growth and yield, the single factor of chicken manure had an effect on growth and yield but had no effect on the number of leaves, and the single factor of rice husk ash did not affect growth and yield but had an effect on age flowering.
