Abstract

Abstract Public attitudes towards caning can underlie a broad variety of actions, some may support or agree, and some may reject or oppose the law. The goal of this study is to evaluate the community's in-depth attitude towards the application of caning punishment. The research used a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling technique with 4 respondents in the community who had witnessed the execution of caning directly. The data collection methods used were interviews and observation. The findings of this study show that the community has a minimal level of awareness related to canning due to lack of socialization from related parties, the level of efficacy of canning is still poor, and the four respondents indicated that they agreed to continue enforcing caning. This study also found that the religious influences inherent in the life of Acehnese people had a strong impact on their attitudes towards the implementation of caning punishment. AbstrakSikap masyarakat terhadap hukuman cambuk dapat melatarbelakangi munculnya perilaku menyetujui atau menolak sampai pada perilaku mendukung atau menentang aturan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sikap masyarakat secara mendalam terhadap pelaksanaan hukuman cambuk. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah teknik purposive sampling dengan responden berjumlah 4 orang masyarakat yang pernah menyaksikan pelaksanaan hukuman cambuk secara langsung. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara dan observasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa masyarakat memiliki tingkat pengetahuan yang minim terkait hukuman cambuk yang disebabkan oleh kurangnya sosialisasi dari pihak terkait, Tingkat efektivitas pelaksanaan hukuman cambuk masih rendah, keempat responden menyatakan setuju terhadap pelaksanaan hukuman cambuk untuk terus dilaksanakan. Penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa faktor agama yang melekat dalam kehidupan masyarakat Aceh sangat mempengaruhi sikap mereka terhadap pelaksanaan hukuman cambuk.

Abstract

Abstract Human Resources is a determinant of the success of the industry, especially in the service sector. Hospitals as a service industry need a strategy to motivate employees to show the best performance. The purpose of this study was to do an empirical comparison between the work motivation of employees at Roemani Muhammadiyah Hospital, which provides a religious development program for its employees, and employees at Dr. RSJD. Amino Gondohutomo who does not provide religious training programs for his employees. Quantitative research method uses a comparative test (t-test) conducted on 100 subjects. Subjects were divided into two groups, each consisting of 50 people who were randomly selected from both research locations. The results of the t-test resulted in a value of t = 0.003 (p = 0.05) so it can be concluded that there is a significant difference in terms of work motivation for hospital employees who receive a religious training program and those who do not. So, it is important for companies or institutions to pay attention to the factor of religiosity in the workplace because it can have an impact on employee motivation and performance.AbstrakSumber Daya Manusia merupakan penentu keberhasilan industri terutama di bidang jasa. Rumah sakit sebagai industri jasa membutuhkan strategi untuk memotivasi karyawan agar menampilkan kinerja terbaik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah melakukan perbandingan secara empiris antara motivasi kerja karyawan di RS Roemani Muhammadiyah yang memberikan program pembinaan religiusitas bagi karyawannya, dengan karyawan di RSJD Dr. Amino Gondohutomo yang tidak memberikan program pembinaan religiusitas bagi karyawannya. Metode penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan uji komparatif (uji-t) yang dilakukan pada subjek berjumlah 100 orang. Subjek dibagi ke dalam dua kelompok, masing-masing berjumlah 50 orang yang dipilih secara acak dari kedua lokasi penelitian. Hasil uji-t menghasilkan nilai t = 0,003 (p= 0,05) sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan dalam hal motivasi kerja pada karyawan rumah sakit yang mendapatkan program pembinaan religiusitas dengan yang tidak. Maka, penting bagi perusahaan atau institusi untuk memperhatikan faktor religiusitas di tempat kerja karena dapat berdampak pada motivasi dan kinerja karyawan.

Abstract

Abstract High entrepreneurial motivation comes from intrinsic and extrinsic. Emotional intelligence is one of the abilities needed to achieve success in all fields, can be a supporter of intrinsic motivation. Parental behavior is a form of extrinsic motivation needed by individuals in career development. Quantitative research method with multivariate correlation type, respondent sample is 263 Unsyiah final students. The sample was selected by simple random sampling technique. Data collection with Motivation to start a business scale, Emotional intelligence scale, Parent career behavior checklist. The results of the study explain that the main hypothesis is accepted, the value of sig is 0.000 0.05, it means that there is a relationship between the independent and dependent variables. The research findings found that emotional intelligence and parental behavior had an effective impact of 18.8% on student entrepreneurial motivation. The results also found that there was no relationship between parental behavior and entrepreneurial motivation. Due to the behavior of parents towards the world of children's careers, it tends to be low, while the motivation of Unsyiah final students tends to be high.AbstrakMotivasi wirausaha yang tinggi berasal dari intrinsik dan eksrinsik. Kecerdasan emosional ialah salah satu kemampuan yang diperlukan guna mencapai kesuksesan di segala bidang, dapat menjadi pendukung motivasi intrinsik. Perilaku orang tua adalah bentuk motivasi ekstrinsik yang dibutuhkan individu dalam pengembangan karir. Metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis korelasi multivariat, sampel responden 263 mahasiswa akhir Unsyiah. Sampel dipilih dengan teknik simple random sampling. Pengumpulan data dengan skala Motivation to start a business, Emotional intelligence scale, Parent career behavior checklist. Hasil penelitian memaparkan hipotesis utama diterima, nilai sig 0,0000,05, bermakna ada hubungan antara variabel independent dengan dependent. Hasil temuan penelitian menemukan kecerdasan emosional dan perilaku orang tua memberikan dampak efektif 18,8% terhadap motivasi wirausaha mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian juga menemukan bahwa tidak adanya hubungan antara perilaku orang tua dengan motivasi wirausaha. Dikarenakan perilaku orang tua terhadap dunia karir anak cenderung rendah, sedangkan motivasi mahasiswa akhir Unsyiah cenderung tinggi.

Abstract

Abstract Psychology is a science that aims to understand humans, with the aim of being able to treat them more appropriately. Therefore, for every educator, the psychological knowledge of students in the educational process is necessary and important. Therefore, every educator needs to understand the science of educational psychology. Given that everyone has to carry out educational activities at the same time, basically everyone needs educational psychology. The method used in this scientific article uses the review literature. The contribution of psychology to education: the contribution of educational psychology to curriculum development, the contribution of educational psychology to the learning system, the contribution of educational psychology to the assessment system. AbstrakPsikologi adalah ilmu yang bertujuan untuk memahami manusia, dengan tujuan agar dapat memperlakukannya dengan lebih tepat. Oleh karena itu, bagi setiap pendidik pengetahuan psikologis peserta didik dalam proses pendidikan merupakan hal yang perlu dan penting. Oleh karena itu, setiap pendidik perlu memahami ilmu tentang psikologi pendidikan. Mengingat setiap orang harus melaksanakan kegiatan pendidikan pada waktu yang bersamaan, maka pada dasarnya setiap orang membutuhkan psikologi pendidikan. Metode yang digunakan dalam artikel ilimiah ini menggunakan literatur riview. Kontribusi psikologi terhadap pendidikan: kontribusi psikologi pendidikan terhadap pengembangan kurikulum, kontribusi psikologi pendidikan terhadap sistem pembelajaran, kontribusi psikologi pendidikan terhadap sistem penilaian.

Abstract

The phenomenon of playing online games among teenagers is something that must be considered. Addiction to online games makes individuals do not care about interactions with people around them. Because individuals who have been addicted to online games are only focused on online games. As a result, the individual's feelings of empathy are not formed. The quantitative research method of correlation with online game addiction scale and empathy scale contains statements that are favorable and unfavorable. The sample in this study was 73 teenagers from Kalisari Hamlet. The results of the study showed that there was a moderate relationship between online game addiction and empathy in adolescents, which was indicated by a person correlation value of 0.462. This means that there is a significant relationship between online game addiction and empathy in adolescents with a moderate degree of correlation. AbstrakFenomena bermain game online di kalangan remaja merupakan suatu hal yang harus di perhatikan. Kecanduan game online membuat individu menjadi tidak peduli dengan interaksi bersama orang disekitar. Sebab individu yang telah kecanduan game online hanya terfokus pada game online. Akibatnya perasaan empati individu tersebut tidak terbentuk. Metode penelitian kuantitatif korelasi dengan skala adiksi game online dan skala empati memuat pernyataan yang bersifat favourable dan unfavourable. Sampel dalam penelitian ini 73 remaja Dusun Kalisari. Hasil penelitian terdapat hubungan yang sedang antara adiksi game online dengan empati pada remaja yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai person correlation sebesar 0,462. Artinya terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara adiksi game online dengan empati pada remaja dengan derajat hubungan berkorelasi sedang.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims at determining: (1) Read-Encode-Annotate-Ponder (REAP) is more effective than Direct Instruction in teaching reading; (2) students with high self-esteem have better reading skills than students with low self-esteem; (3) there is an interaction between teaching methods and self-esteem in teaching reading. This experimental research was carried out at MAN 1 Salatiga. The population was the tenth-grade students. The sample used cluster random sampling. Two classes were sampled: X.7 the experimental class was taught by REAP and X.9 the control class was taught by Direct Instruction. The research data used questionnaire and reading test. After testing for normality and homogeneity, the hypothesis is tested. Reading test results data were analyzed using 2 x 2 multifactor analysis of variance and Tukey's test. Based on data analysis, conclusions are drawn: (1) REAP is more effective than Direct Instruction for teaching reading; (2) Students with high self-esteem have better reading skills than students with low self-esteem; (3) There is an interaction between teaching methods and students' self-esteem to teach reading.AbstrakPenelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) Read-Encode-Annotate-Ponder (REAP) lebih efektif daripada Direct Instruction dalam pengajaran membaca; (2) siswa dengan harga diri tinggi memiliki keterampilan membaca lebih baik daripada siswa dengan harga diri rendah; (3) ada interaksi antara metode pengajaran dan harga diri dalam pengajaran membaca. Penelitian eksperimen ini dilaksanakan di MAN 1 Salatiga. Dengan populasi siswa kelas X. Sampel menggunakan cluster random sampling. Dua kelas dijadikan sampel: X.7 kelas eksperimen diajar dengan REAP dan X.9 kelas kontrol diajar dengan Direct Instruction. Data penelitian menggunakan angket dan tes membaca. Setelah dilakukan uji normalitas dan homogenitas, maka dilakukan uji hipotesis. Data hasil tes membaca dianalisis menggunakan analisis varians multifaktor 2x2 dan uji Tukey. Berdasarkan analisis data, ditarik simpulan: (1) REAP lebih efektif daripada Direct Instruction untuk pengajaran membaca; (2) Siswa dengan harga diri tinggi memiliki keterampilan membaca yang lebih baik daripada siswa dengan harga diri rendah; (3) Ada interaksi antara metode pengajaran dan harga diri siswa untuk mengajar membaca.
