Abstract

Moral is the ability to understand values in a society concerning good or bad, right or wrong things, and what should or should not be done by an individual in a society. Moral development of adolescence is a time when teenagers are already more mature and knowledgeable about moral values and the concepts of morality than children. Problem solving can engage students in solving problems systematically to deal with the problem associated with the existing life in the community and surrounding environment. Problems of tidal agriculture were chosen to be the case, so that we can get the moral dilemmas and characteristics of the stages of moral development of students through problem solving. This research is aimed at describing (1) moral development stage of the students of SMP Negeri 1 Gambut concerning issues of tidal agriculture in Kabupaten Banjar through valid and reliable problem solving, (2) the characteristics of moral development stages of the students of SMP Negeri 1 Gambut concerning issues of tidal agriculture in Kabupaten Banjar through valid and reliable problem solving. The method used qualitative approach and descriptive type. The instruments of the research were in the form of initial tests of moral development using Defining Issues Test (DIT), written assignments, and interviews. The samples of the research were students of class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Gambut, Kabupaten Banjar. The results of this research showed that moral development stages of the students of SMP Negeri 1 Gambut concerning the issues of tidal agriculture in Kabupaten Banjar through problem solving were in stages 2, 3 and 4. The characteristics of the moral development stages of the students of SMP Negeri 1 Gambut concerning the issues of tidal agriculture in Kabupaten Banjar through problem solving were the characteristics of stage 2 (self-interest), the characteristics of stage 3 (environmental expectations), and the characteristics of stage 4 (understanding social rules).

Abstract

Learning is currently using the scientific approach, through direct interaction with lea rning resources. The educator or teacher at the school are expected to use appropriate learning resources. Local potentials that are spread around in the form of learning resources should be of concern to organized, so empowering positive for all students' learning. Not much research to develop teaching materials based on local potential. The amount of biological material that can not be observed directly, such as materials about protists, monera, one-celled animals, make the learners have difficulty to understanding. Research types of phytoplankton can be used as a learning resource to overcome these problems. This research aims to (1) Produce teaching materials of research types of phytoplankton in Panjaratan River (2) Examine the feasibility of teaching materials that are based on research on the type Phytoplankton Panjaratan River. The results showed (1) teaching materials produced are teaching materials enrichment entitled Type Phytoplankton in the River Panjaratan, consisting of 3 BAB, teaching materials prepared in accordance competencies and according to the terms of teaching materials quality that meets aspects of the display, the aspect of the presentation of the material and aspects of language , (2) Eligibility teaching materials in the river Panjaratan Phytoplankton type of expert validation result is quite valid with an average score of 80,43%, readability test students strongly agree with the assessment statement as much as 53,1%, 45,03%  agree and 1,87% disagree . Assessment of teachers partners on quite valid with an average score of 76,12%. Results responses of teachers and students each showed a good response. Learning outcomes after using teaching materials in the river Phytoplankton type Panjaratan increase seen from the posttest and normality test Gain (n-gain) with an average value of 83,7 and a gain of 0,81 postest with high improvement category.

Abstract

Biology learning process that occurs in SMAN 2 Muara Teweh still using devices based learning and student handbooks with the curriculum SBC devices are arranged in the Subject Teachers Council (MGMP). Student handbook based curriculum SBC used as basis for the preparation of such devices in general. Learning with the inquiry model of bacterial material has never been used by teachers in order to improve the learning spirit of students to learn. The material of bacteria is one of the materials related to the scientific attitude. The aim of this study is to produce a software development learning inquiry model with the concept of high school students of class X bacteria valid and practical and can study the implementation of the concept of bacteria using a model of an effective inquiry. Samples were individual trials that test 3 and test experts legibility on 6 students, small groups of test class numbered 19 students and class field tests totaling 24 students. The instrument of this research is the syllabus, lesson plans, worksheets, assessment sheets, key pieces of assessment, teaching materials, process observation sheet, psychomotor skills, critical thinking, character, social behavior and the activities of teachers and students. Data retrieved student learning outcomes through pretest and posttest in learning the concept of bacteria using inquiry model. Activity observation sheet obtained under observation while the activities of the skills assessed by sheets of skills. It can be concluded that Practicality learning device has been reached. the enforceability of RPP and either categorized student activity, student responses almost all the students are very happy. The effectiveness of the learning device has also been met, it is based on the cognitive learning products and cognitive processes has reached mastery that students get the value of N-gain with high category, the assessment results psychomotor skills, assessment of social attitudes and attitude of the character, as well as critical thinking has been included in both categories, research can produce development tools through inquiry model valid, practical and effective.

Abstract

Based on clinical supervision at Loban 1 Public High School, most of the teachers have not developed their own learning tools, so that relevance to learning in schools needs to be addressed. This research & development uses the ASSURE development model on the Mushroom concept using the guided inquiry learning model and the 5M approach. The purpose of this study is to develop a mushroom concept learning device using a model of guided inquiry in high school that is valid, practical and effective. The subject of research & development is a learning device while the object of research is students of SMA 1 Loban River, Tanah Bumbu Regency. Individual trials were carried out in the X-MIA3 class, and small group tests in the X-MIA2 class and field tests were carried out in the X-MIA1 class. Data on the validity of learning devices include validation by three experts, data on the practicality of learning devices including assessment of the implementation of lesson plans, student responses to learning, observation of teacher and student activities during learning activities and the level of effectiveness of learning devices including a) cognitive and product learning outcomes. b) results of the assessment of performance skills, c) results of the assessment of social attitudes, d) results of spiritual attitude assessment, and e) results of the assessment of critical thinking skills. The results of the study showed that the learning devices that had been developed had fulfilled the indicators of validity, practicality, and effectiveness, thus the Mushroom concept learning tools developed by using the guided inquiry model and the 5M approach could already be used in learning activities.

Abstract

The latest data stated that the rate of deforestation has reached 2.83 million hectares per year during 1997 to 2000 and was reduced to 1.08 million hectares per year 2000-2005. It included the population ofironwood, population of ironwood is thinning because of the loggers who are logging ironwood as a good effort. Ironwood has been classified as endangered, but in the District of Kintap there are still many loggers of stump ironwood. Respondents need to have knowledge about the population of ironwood plant to measure the extent of respondents understanding related to their habits, especially in terms of ironwood conservation. People’s habit to use the ironwood plants in the district Kintap is the behavior of the villagers who live in the area near the forest who are not concerned about the reduction in the plant population. The purpose of this study are (1) to describe the knowledge and the habitof the loggers and collectors about the scarcity of the ironwood plantpopulation in Kintap district (2) Create public information material that is made by the results of the research know ledge and habits of loggers and collectors of the population ironwood plants in Kintap district as leaflets. The results showed (1) Knowledge of the loggers and the collectors about ironwood plant population, they knewabout the breeding, growth, utilization, distribution and conservation, but not very aware of the rules. Loggers and collectors habit on logging and selling is always done without making purchaselicense. In addition, they did not care about the preservation of ironwood (2) the result of the leafle treadability assessment of loggers, collectors and the public are rated high. Result of the validation by the three validators categorized as very valid.

Abstract

The species of shrimps in the estuarine areain Batanjung Village have great potential for the academic field, and have not been used as a supplementary module for Biologyon animalia concept, phylum Artrophoda in crustaceas class, for the tenth grade ofsenior high school. This research aims to produce avalid module for Biology on the shrimp species in the estuarine region of Batanjung Village for the tenth grade of SMAN 1 Basarang. Theresearch type used is Research and development (R & D). There are 9 steps in this activity.The result of the field research shows that there are 11 species of shrimps, namely Harpiosquilla raphideae. Peneaus monodon, Peneaus merguensis, Peneaus indicus, Peneaus Vanamae, Metapeneaus monoceros, Palaemon adpersus, Palaemon concinnus, Macrobrachium nipponse, Macrobrachium equidens, Macrobrachium rosenbergii. Furthermore, the species of shrimp were designed to be a supplementary module for Biology for the tenth grade of SMA. The teaching materialswere validated by three experts, and the legibility test were done by the tenth-grade students of SMAN-1 Basarang. The results of validity and legibility test shows that the created teaching materials can be used as the supplementary materials for Biology of the tenth grade of SMA.

Abstract

The scientific literacy skills of Indonesian students are still low. This condition encourages the government to improve the ability to solve problems, namely by issuing Permendikbud Number 65 of 2013 concerning the standards for the process of primary and secondary education, including the development of the domain of attitudes, knowledge, and skills. This development research aims to produce science learning tools on the topic of classification of living things in class VII of the SMP Negeri which are valid, practical and effective. Development research refers to the device development model with phases 1) Identifying problems, 2) Describing objectives, 3) Designing and developing devices, 4) Performing tests, 5) Evaluating test results, and 6) Communicating test results. Data was collected using instruments and evaluation questions. All data collected was analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the learning device was declared valid. Practical learning tools are used based on the results of the lesson plan implementation and student responses. Learning tools are also effectively based on results 1) cognitive assessment 2) psychomotor, social, and spiritual assessment, 3) critical thinking assessment, 4) student activity on teaching and learning activities and, 5) teacher response to teaching and learning activities.
