Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop a standardized test instrument cognitive science subjects 7 junior class in accordance with steps of developing tests based on lattice UN year 2015/2016. Study Cognitive tests include the dimensions of factual knowledge, conceptual and procedural accordance with the revised Bloom cognitive levels. This type of research is the development of research. The data collection was done by using the test and non test. Source of data obtained from the results of the test answer sheets study, questionnaires and interviews with teachers and students in grade 7 junior in Banjar district. The sampling technique used purposive sampling and data analysis done qualitatively covering material, construction and language. Quantitative data analysis were performed using the MICROCAT Bigsteps 2:30 version. Results of the research is a description of the procedural process and product development are developed. The steps used to develop test instruments is to determine the purpose test, preparing test specifications, penulisansoal, a qualitative analysis by 9 experts (3 experts material, 3 experts construct, and 3 linguists), the revised phase I trials practicality in 4 teachers, a revised phase II, simulated use of the product in 3 students, the revision phase III, trial products on a single class of students from each school samples, analysis of items, and the revision stage IV. Learning achievement test instruments developed have excellent content validity based on the review of experts and high reliability butirsoal the 0.95. The end product development test research results in the form of 29 questions multiple choice test that can be used as a question bank and ready to be implemented.Keywords: Development of test instrument, Natural sciences, Junior high school, Kabupaten Banjar

Abstract

This study aims to generate learning instrument of science-biology with model guided inquiry of character education integrated at plant physiology process concept at class VIII for junior high school that valid, practical, and effective. The development learning instrument of science biology uses method research and development (R & D) which refers to the model of the software development phases: 1) analysis of students learning styles, 2) formulate learning objectives, 3) selecting appropriate media, 4) use of media and instructional materials, 5) developing activity students, 6) evaluation and revision, and 7) implementation. Learning instrument include; the syllabus, lesson plan, student worksheets, instructional materials, and test results of learning. The results of research as follows: 1) The results of the assessment validator indicate learning instrument is valid with both categories; 2) small group evolution test results meet the practical criteria; 3) implementation of the model of guided inquiry character education integrated meets the criteria effective, namely: a) the result of a very good learning management, b) the response of students classified as positive. c) educational assessment meets the criteria of good character; d) the activity of students in the high category; e) results of tests of learning outcomes achieve minimum completeness, and f) motivation to learn a positive effect on student achievement. Based on these results it can be concluded that the development learning instrument science-biology using the model guided inquiry of character education integrated is valid, practical, and effective.Keywords: Science-biology learning for junior high school, guided inquiry, character education

Abstract

Birik wood (Albizia procera) grows wild in the Tamiang hill forest and is often used by the local community. This study aims to describe the ethnobotany of the Albizia procera plant in the Tamiang hill  forest area, Tanah Laut Regency and describe the validity and practicality of the contents of the popular scientific book on the Albizia procera plant. The research method used was descriptive research for ethnobotany studies and continued with the formative evaluation of the Tessmer test for the feasibility of the developed popular sciencetific book. The results showed that the Albizia procera plant had tree species, had white round stems, sympodial branches, double pinnate compound leaves, unlimited compound flowers, dry true fruit with pod and taproot type. Albizia procera plant is used as stomachache medicine, also used for road shade and livestock feed. The Albizia procera plant is believed by local people if it is burned it will cause the goat hair to fall out. Albizia procera plants are widely used as firewood, building materials and food materials. People in the hill forest area of Tamiang call the Albizia procera plant "birik wood" because of its speckled stems. The results of the development of teaching materials in the form of Popular Scientific Books on expert tests by 2 validators had very valid results, and the practicality of the content by 3 students had very good results. This popular scientific book is to support the Ethnobotany subject.

Abstract

AbstractThe importance of quality cognitive assessment instruments so that evaluations conducted really measure what the instrument should measure. This study aims to describe the number of items that are fit in the cognitive assessment instruments of junior high school science subjects that have been developed. This descriptive research was conducted in 7 SMP / MTs in Banjar District. Data in the form of a comparison of questions that are not fit. The results showed that items that were fit on the cognitive assessment instruments developed were 59.80% (2013 curriculum), 12.74% (KTSP), and 78.43% (2013 Impact Curriculum).AbstrakPentingnya instrumen penilaian kognitif yang berkualitas agar evaluasi yang dilakukan benar-benar mengukur apa yang seharusnya diukur oleh instrumen tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan jumlah butir soal yang fit pada pengembangan instrumen penilaian kognitif mata pelajaran IPA SMP. Penelitian deskriptif ini dilakukan pada 7 SMP/MTs Kabupaten Banjar. Data berupa perbandingan soal yang tidak fit menurut kurikulum yang diimplementasikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa butir soal yang fit pada instrumen penilaian kognitif yang dikembangkan adalah 59,80% (kurikulum 2013), 12,74% (KTSP), dan 78,43% (Kurikulum Imbas 2013).

Abstract

Teaching and learning activities changed during a pandemic, namely distance learning that utilized online learning. Teaching and learning activities involve technology in packaging the material to be taught to students. One of which uses a digital module. This study describes the effect of using CLDW based digital modules on the fungi concept on students' generic science skills and responses. This study uses a quasi-experimental approach with The Non-Equivalent Control Group Design, with the research sample being class X students at SMAN 7 Banjarmasin. Analyzing data on generic science skills used the N-Gain Score test and obtained an N-gain Score of 56,72%. Based on this study's results, there is an effect of applying the CLDW digital module to students' generic science skills. Suggestions for this research, student participation and response in online learning are less than optimal. It is necessary to make habituation and active participation between teachers and students to overcome this.Keywords: CLDW; Digital Module; Fungi; Independent Learning; Science Generic SkillsSelama pandemi COVID-19, kegiatan belajar mengajar mengalami perubahan yaitu penerapan pembelajaran jarak jauh (PJJ) yang memanfaatkan pembelajaran online. Kegiatan belajar mengajar melibatkan teknologi dalam mengemas materi yang akan diajarkan kepada siswa. Salah satunya dengan menggunakan modul digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji keefektifan penggunaan modul digital berbasis CLDW pada konsep jamur terhadap keterampilan generik sains siswa dan respon siswa saat menggunakan modul yang terintegrasi dengan CLDW. Penelitian ini menggunakan eksperimen semu dengan the non-equivalent control group design dengan sampel penelitian sebesar 38 siswa kelas X MIPA 1 dan X MIPA 4 di SMAN 7 Banjarmasin. Teknik analisis data keterampilan generik sains menggunakan tes N-Gain Score dan memperoleh hasil nilai N-Gain Score 56,72%, sedangkan respon siswa dianalisis secara deskripstif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penerapan modul digital CLDW terhadap keterampilan generik sains siswa. siswa respon siswa selama penggunaan modul yang terintegrasi pada CLDW berada pada kategori setuju. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut maka diperlukan pembiasaan dan partisipasi aktif siswa.Kata Kunci:  CLDW; Modul Digital; Jamur; Belajar Mandiri; Keterampilan Generik Sains

Abstract

Culture Literacy Digital Wetland (CLDW) is a software that’s used to create web-based online course materials and manage learning activities and their results as is the case with the Learning Management System. This study aims to; (1) describe the effect of using CLDW LKPD on the vertebrate concept on students' cognitive learning outcomes, and (2) describe the effect of using CLDW LKPD on the verte-brate sub-concept on students' generic science skills. This study uses a quasi-experimental approach with Pretest Posttest Control Group Design for cognitive learning outcomes and Posttest-only Control Group Design for science generic skills. The research sample was students of class X MIPA 1 as the ex-perimental class and X MIPA 2 as the control class. Testing the use of CLDW LKPD on learning out-comes using the analysis of covariance test from the results of the Pretest Posttest, and generic science skills using the independent sample T-test test from the student worksheets. The results showed; (1) there was an effect of using CLDW LKPD on students' cognitive learning outcomes (sig. 0.010), and (2) there was an effect of using CLDW LKPD on students' generic science skills (sig. 0.004). It is hoped that from the results of the research, the use of CLDW LKPD can be used as an alternative, especially in online learning.Keywords: CLDW LKPD, cognitive learning outcomes, science generic skills, vertebrates. ABSTRAKCulture Literacy Digital Wetland (CLDW) merupakan perangkat lunak yang digunakan untuk membuat materi pelajaran online berbasis web dan mengelola kegiatan pembelajaran serta hasil-hasilnya seperti halnya pada Learning Management System. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk; (1) mendeskripsikan pengaruh penggunaan CLDW LKPD pada sub konsep vertebrata terhadap hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik dan (2) mendeskripsikan pengaruh penggunaan CLDW LKPD pada konsep vertebrata terhadap keterampilan generik sains siswa peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan quasi experiment dengan desain pretest posttest control group design untuk hasil belajar kognitif dan posttest-only con-trol group design untuk keterampilan generik sains. Sampel penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas X MIPA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan X MIPA 2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Pengujian penggunaan CLDW LKPD terhadap hasil belajar menggunakan uji analysis of covariance dari hasil pretest-posttest, dan keterampilan generik sains menggunakan uji independent sample T-test dari lembar kerja peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan; (1) terdapat pengaruh penggunaan CLDW LKPD terhadap hasil belajar kognitif produk peserta didik (sig. 0,010) dan (2) terdapat pengaruh penggunaan CLDW LKPD terhadap keterampilan generik sains peserta didik (sig. 0,004). Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic situation has implications for various aspects of life, including the world of education, especially in the aspect of the learning process. LKPD as an important tools in learning needs adaptation to adapt online learning, so that it remains meaningful and sharpens students' intelligence. This study aims to describe the effect of applying the Ecological Concepts of LKPD CLDW on learning outcomes of students in class X IPA MAN 1 Banjarmasin. The research method used is a quasi-experimental, with a Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design for learning outcomes. The samples of this study were students of class X IPA 1 with a total of 29 people as the experimental class, and 28 students of class X IPA 3 as the control class. Data analysis technique of cognitive learning outcomes using Covariance Analysis. Research results show there is no significant effect of the application of the LKPD CLDW on student’s learning outcomes (sig. 0,144). Suggestions for this research; (1) CLDW can be recommended as an online learning innovation or a combination, (2) CLDW can be a learning resource with a wetland theme, (3) for further research, it is necessary to conduct an assessment of the affective and psychomotor domains, and (4) need to pay attention to the inhibiting factors in online learning.Keywords: CLDW, LKPD, quasi experiment, learning outcomes, ecology.ABSTRAKSituasi pandemi covid-19 telah berimplikasi pada berbagai aspek kehidupan, tak terkecuali bagi dunia pendidikan terutama pada aspek proses pembelajaran. LKPD sebagai salah satu perangkat penting dalam pembelajaran perlu diadaptasi menyesuaikan pembelajaran daring agar tetap bermakna dan mengasah kecerdasan peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh penerapan CLDW LKPD Konsep Ekologi terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas X IPA di MAN 1 Banjarmasin. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen semu dengan rancangan penelitian Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Sampel penelitian peserta didik X IPA 1 berjumlah 29 orang sebagai kelas eksperimen dan 28 orang peserta didik kelas X IPA 3 sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik analisis data hasil belajar menggunakan Analisis Kovarian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan setelah implementasi CLDW LKPD terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik (sig.0,144). Saran untuk penelitian ini; (1) CLDW dapat direkomendasikan sebagai inovasi pembelajaran secara daring maupun kombinasi, (2) CLDW dapat menjadi sumber belajar dengan mengangkat tema lahan basah, (3) untuk penelitian yang akan datang perlu dilakukan penilaian ranah afektif dan psikomotor, dan (4) perlu memperhatikan faktor-faktor penghambat dalam penelitian secara daring.Kata kunci: CLDW, LKPD, eksperimen semu, hasil belajar, ekologi.

Abstract

Kegiatan bimbingan teknis ini bertujuan memberi bekal dan bimbingan kepada guru-guru biologi sekolah menengah dalam menyusun bahan ajar berbasis potensi lokal.  Pelaksanaan kegiatan menggunakan metode ceramah, diskusi, workshop, konsultasi daring, dan penugasan mandiri.  Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peserta menunjukkan antusiasme yang tinggi, sebagaimana terlihat dari proses tanya jawab dan diskusi yang berlangsung sangat dinamis. Banyak peserta yang menyampaikan potensi lokal daerah, serta meminta saran dan masukan terkait bahan ajar apa yang dapat dikembangkan. Berdasarkan data yang masuk, terdapat 33 orang guru (82,25%) dari 40 peserta yang sudah mengirimkan format yang berbentuk draft pengembangan bahan ajar. Hal ini menunjukkan peserta telah mendapatkan bekal pengetahuan dan memiliki motivasi sangat tinggi untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar berbasis potensi lokal. Untuk kegiatan serupa ke depannya agar dapat menjadi lebih baik lagi sebaiknya dilaksanakan bimbingan berkelanjutan. This technical guidance activity aims to provide provision and guidance to high school biology teachers in preparing teaching materials based on local potential. Implementation of activities using lecture methods, discussions, workshops, online consultations, and independent assignments. The activity results showed that the participants showed high enthusiasm, as seen from the very dynamic question and answer process and discussion. Many participants conveyed the local potential of the region and asked for suggestions and input regarding what teaching materials could be developed. Based on the incoming data, there are 33 teachers (82.25%) of the 40 participants who have sent a format in the form of a draft of the development of teaching materials. This shows that the participants have acquired knowledge and have very high motivation to develop teaching materials based on local potential. For similar activities in the future to be even better, continuous guidance should be carried out.

Abstract

Penyebaran virus Covid-19 sebagai pandemi global memberikan dampak pada pendidikan. Pembelajaran daring yang menjadi solusi saat pandemi juga mengalami kendala di antaranya kurangnya interaksi antar guru dengan peserta didik yang mengakibatkan pembelajaran berjalan monoton. Konsep protista merupakan materi yang kompleks, sehingga membutuhkan bahan ajar yang bervariasi untuk mengatasi permasalahan guru dan peserta didik. Modul elektronik adalah bahan ajar el ektronik yang disusun secara sistematis, meliputi kompetensi yang akan dikuasai peserta didik dan dilengkapi dengan tampilan yang menarik. Flip HTML5 merupakan aplikasi atau situs web yang dapat digunakan untuk mengonversi file PDF ke bentuk flipbook yang membuat bahan ajar menjadi interaktif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan validitas dan uji keterbacaan pada modul elektronik berbasis berbasis Flip HTML5 pada konsep protista kelas X SMA. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Research and Development menggunakan model 4-D yang dibatasi sampai tahap Develop. Subjek penelitian ini terdapat 3 orang validator dan 9 peserta didik kelas X SMAN 7 Banjarmasin. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah modul elektronik berbasis Flip HTML5 pada konsep protista kelas X SMA memperoleh nilai validitas 88,54% dan uji keterbacaan peserta didik 86,2% sehingga terkategori sangat valid dan sangat baik.

Abstract

Learning human physiology is a study that we often encounter in everyday life related to the condition of the body, at any time it can experience problems or abnormalities that result in a decrease in the condition of human health itself. In addition, along with the development of science and technology, more and more problems are encountered in learning human physiology, so that the ability to think is needed in solving existing problems. This study aims to describe the profile of students' abilities in solving critical problems on the concept of human physiology. The study used a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The data collection instruments in this study included the main instrument, namely the researcher himself and the supporting instrument in the form of a written assignment to describe the profile of students who had programmed human physiology courses. Students are categorized based on a hypothetical theory which contains five levels of critical thinking skills, namely very critical, critical, moderately critical, less critical, and not critical. The results showed that the ability profile of several students of the Biology Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Lambung Mangkurat University in solving critical problems on the concept of human physiology. Consists of four levels of critical thinking skills, namely very critical, critical, moderately critical, and less critical.AbstrakPembelajaran fisiologi manusia merupakan kajian yang sering kita jumpai dalam kehidupan sehari-hari yang berhubungan dengan kondisi tubuh, sewaktu-waktu dapat mengalami permasalahan atau kelainan yang berakibat pada menurunnya kondisi kesehatan manusia itu sendiri. Selain itu, seiring dengan perkembangan IPTEK maka semakin banyak pula permasalahan yang dijumpai dalam pembelajaran fisiologi manusia, sehingga diperlukan kemampuan berpikir dalam penyelesaian masalah yang ada. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan profil kemampuan mahasiswa dalam penyelesaian masalah secara kritis pada konsep fisiologi manusia. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Instrumen pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini meliputi instrumen utama yaitu peneliti sendiri dan instrumen pendukung berupa tugas tertulis untuk mendeskripsikan profil mahasiswa yang telah memprogramkan mata kulah fisiologi manusia. Mahasiswa dikategorikan berdasarkan teori hipotetik yangberisi lima tingkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis, yaitu sangat kritis, kritis, cukup kritis, kurang kritis, dan tidak kritis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa profil kemampuan beberapa mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Biologi, Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Lambung Mangkuratdalam penyelesaian masalah secara kritis pada konsep fisiologi manusia. Terdiri dari empat tingkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis yaitu sangat kritis, kritis, cukup kritis, dan kurang kritis.
