Seni, teknologi, dan masyarakat dewasa ini telah menyatu dalam praktik penelitian dan pengabdian masyarakat di perguruan tinggi seni. Tidak ada lagi jarak antara praktik seni dan teknologi, terutama dengan masyarakat. Pemisaha antara disiplin sain dan teknologi dengan sosial, humaniora, dan seni tidak lagi populer saat ini. Praktek seni sudah seharusnya melebur dan kehadirannya mewarnai teknologi dan masyarakat . seni tidak lagi terbatas menjadi menara gading yang berlindung di balik kredo seni untuk seni. Kehadiran seni semakin diperlukan dalam dunia yang kian berlari menuju kecanggihan teknologi. Seni telah membuktika hal tersebut dengan munculnya disiplin-disiplin baru dalam ilmu pengetahuan seperti disiplin desain, kajian budaya dan sebagainya. Dengan demikian terjadilah dialog antar disiplin yang memungkinkan seni memberi manfaat lebih bagi peradaban. Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat Institut Seni Indonesia Surakarta konsisten mewadahi praktik seni dalam penelitain dan pengabdian masyarakat dengan perspektif yang lebih holistik. Seni dikembangkan tidak terpisah dengan masyarakat dengan segala dinamikanya.

Abstract

Abstract Community Empowerment through the Bothoklo Dance as an Icon of the Dungde Valley Tourism Village, Mlilir Village, Gentungan Village, Mojogedang District, Karanganyar Regency, is an accompaniment program to the community as a tangible manifestation of the implementation of the Vision of the Indonesian Institute of the Arts Surakarta. The preparation of Bothoklo Dance as an icon of a tourist village, comes from the traditional culture of the Mlilir Village community. The preparation process is carried out with the community, this is a form of creative creative education so that the community awakens its creative spirit. The method used in the preparation of the Bothoklo dance is the three R method, namely Re-Visiting, Re-Questioning and Re-Interpreting. The results of the preparation of the Botoklo Dance are then trained to the community as a strengthening of tourist attraction. The training was carried out in the Dungde Valley Tourism Village, Mlilir Village, Gentungan Village. This is intended to be closer and introduce the Surakarta Indonesian Art Institute campus to the public. In addition, the form of training with the community can also be an attraction for the community / tourists who come to the Dungde Valley. The result of this community empowerment is the composition of the Bothoklo Dance with the theme of mythological animals in Mlilir Village, packaged in the form of group dance. The music used is a variety of ethnic groups in the Mlilir area, while the clothing uses the artistic rods of mendong with the current packaging. Bothoklo dance is taught to the Mlilir community to be developed as a tourist village icon.

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this community service is to provide application and understanding of the importance of making publications via YouTube, as a means of introducing that documentation is not only for individuals or institutions, but can be disseminated throughout the world through online media. The problem regarding the publication of works is indeed very vital, for that apart from the workshop technically the creation, it is also supported by publication via YouTube. This high-print technique calligraphy art workshop also uses YouTube publications, so that the workshop process and its work or results can be widely enjoyed and appreciated. This workshop or community service uses 3 stages, namely location identification, training and also work evaluation. The impact of this community service is that this workshop is able to educate and also inspire people who see it, because it is disseminated through online media, namely uploading workshop documentation videos via the Makmoer channel Art project.
