Seni, teknologi, dan masyarakat dewasa ini telah menyatu dalam praktik penelitian dan pengabdian masyarakat di perguruan tinggi seni. Tidak ada lagi jarak antara praktik seni dan teknologi, terutama dengan masyarakat. Pemisaha antara disiplin sain dan teknologi dengan sosial, humaniora, dan seni tidak lagi populer saat ini. Praktek seni sudah seharusnya melebur dan kehadirannya mewarnai teknologi dan masyarakat . seni tidak lagi terbatas menjadi menara gading yang berlindung di balik kredo seni untuk seni. Kehadiran seni semakin diperlukan dalam dunia yang kian berlari menuju kecanggihan teknologi. Seni telah membuktika hal tersebut dengan munculnya disiplin-disiplin baru dalam ilmu pengetahuan seperti disiplin desain, kajian budaya dan sebagainya. Dengan demikian terjadilah dialog antar disiplin yang memungkinkan seni memberi manfaat lebih bagi peradaban. Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat Institut Seni Indonesia Surakarta konsisten mewadahi praktik seni dalam penelitain dan pengabdian masyarakat dengan perspektif yang lebih holistik. Seni dikembangkan tidak terpisah dengan masyarakat dengan segala dinamikanya.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Karya koleksi mahasiswa mempunyai nilai penting terutama untuk melihat capaian hasil pembelajaran, kualitas lulusan, dan kecenderungan gaya serta teknik penciptaan karya lulusan pada tahun-tahun tertentu serta sebagai bentuk apresiasi terhadap karya seni. Hal ini dapat digunakan sebagai acuan untuk melakukan evaluasi kurikulum atau materi pembelajaran. Sehingga pengelolaan karya koleksi dirasa mendesak untuk dilakukan. Setiap mahasiswa yang telah menyelesaikan dan lulus ujian Tugas Akhir Penciptaan dari Jurusan Seni Rupa Murni FSRD ISI Surakarta wajib menyerahkan satu buah karya sebagai koleksi jurusan. Sampai saat ini jumlah karya koleksi mencapai puluhan. Sayangnya karya-karya tersebut dalam kondisi kurang terawat dikarenakan belum dikelola secara baik. Selain persoalan keterbatasan ruangan, peralatan pendukung juga belum ada pendataan karya koleksi yang menyeluruh. Melalui penelitian yang berjudul Pengelolaan Karya Koleksi di Jurusan Seni Murni Fakultas Seni Rupa dan Desain ISI Surakarta peneliti berencana membuat rencana pengelolaan karya koleksi melalui pendataan karya koleksi (inventarisasi dan katalogisasi), penataan karya koleksi, dan pemeliharaan karya koleksi di Jurusan Seni Rupa Murni. Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data melalui observasi, pelacakan dokumen berupa arsip tulisan maupun foto, wawancara kepada pihak-pihak yang mempunyai kompetensi di bidangnya termasuk dosen dan pemangku kebijakan. Selain itu peneliti juga melakukan kajian pustaka untuk memperkaya perspektif serta mengetahui bagaimana pengelolaan karya koleksi di perguruan tinggi.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to form and strive to foster entrepreneurial motivation for economically independent youth groups; productive thinking; and improve the ability of other skills needed to increase income in the future. The training that will be carried out is planned as one of the activities for PIK-Remaja Muda Jaya Bhakti, it is hoped that the development of the Ecoprint startup can support efforts to grow new entrepreneurs which are now needed to increase the entrepreneurial spirit which is still low in the Joyontakan area. Besides this, the Ecoprint training also improves the skills of youth groups which will have an impact on economic benefits by utilizing the potential of nature. Lack of human resource capabilities, lack of insight and lack of equipment causes people to not have this entrepreneurial motivation. The manufacture of interior accessories using the ecoprint technique, which will be pioneered in Joyontakan, is in the form of making interior accessories in the form of cushions, sofa covers, wall panels and decorative lights made from primisima and calico fabrics. Interior accessories using the Ecoprint technique were chosen because apart from an open market share, they also do not require relatively large capital and do not require complex skills for the target community category in the Joyontakan area. The training participants are expected to be able to become strong craftsmen, so that they can increase family income and absorb the workforce of the surrounding community. This activity is planned for a period of six months, the planned activities are; counseling on entrepreneurial potential, training on making Interior Accessories using the Ecoprint technique, namely cushions, sofa covers, wall panels and decorative lights, as well as the use of practical and appropriate tools, then training on the development of designs that are currently in demand by the market.

Abstract

This article discusses the structure of Kresna Duta's shadow puppet show. The theoritical perspectives applied in this article are; the theory of Yogyakarta style shadow puppet performance structure by Mudjanattistomo (1977), and the theory of jejer classification by Wahyudi (2013). The term“jejer” refers to the episodes grouping based on some occassions that happen in the same territory. These two methods are suitably used for the narration analysis, the decissions taken and the behaviour of the character, as well as the phenomenon within the story. The results of these methods show that the story of Kresna Duta performed by Ki Hadi Sugito consist of thirty four episodes which are then classified into seven jejer (seven episodes grouping). There are two types of episodes grouping which are found in the story of Kresna Duta structure, they are; (1) jejer gendhing and jejer gladhagan. This article is one part of the previous study of “Pandhawa Sahaya Dalam Lakon Kresna Duta Sajian Ki Hadi Sugito: Analisis Hermeneutik Tokoh Kresna Gaya Yogyakarta Hadi Sugito”.

Abstract

"Creation and Performance of New Karawitan in Feminism Paradigm" is a creative process in interpreting the development of karawitan in wayang performances that have developed recently. The position of women in the world of puppetry is only as stage decorations to become pesindhen, but this work tries to prove that the pesindhen can appear as a determinant of dramaturgy in wayang performances, not only as pesidnhen but also respond to the plot of the play with their creativity as a composer. The play used as a medium of musical expression is the story of "Ken Yasodha". Namely one of the female characters is a sindhen from Mandura. The puppeteer who is believed to be the perpetrator is Cahyo Kuntadi. Through this work, it proves that shadow puppet is not always attached to patriarchal culture, and can be worked on from the perspective of a pesindhen.

Abstract

Abstract Art, technology, and society are three different entities. As distinct entities, they inevitably interact with one another. These interactions produce various types and benefits of technology. The method used in understanding the interaction of the three entities is to use the literature study method. This method generates an understanding of the types and benefits of technology and the function of using art in society. The results show an understanding that although the phenomenon of art technology is a fact that exists before our eyes, there are not many studies related to this problem. Therefore, art technology can be studied more deeply in descriptive and applied artistic disciplines.

Abstract

Desa Karang telah menetapkan diri sebagai Desa Kreatif dengan mengangkat subsektor perfilman. Beberapa kegiatan perfilman telah berlangsung di desa tersebut, namun pemerintah desa belum memiliki rencana program. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode diskusi terpumpun. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah memberikan rekomendasi peta jalan kebijakan dan program pengembangan desa kreatif wisata perfilman di Desa Karang, Kabupaten Karanganyar. Penelitian ini menghasilkan rekomendasi program perfilman yang dapat diterapkan sebagai pijakan dalam menyusun kebijakan desa yang sinergi dalam pengembangan desa kreatif perfilman.

Abstract

In the village of Serenan, in Surtanan, there is a group of batik that has the activity of nyerat (writing) cloth using batik wax. This activity is carried out according to orders from batik entrepreneurs from several regions in Solo and Yogyakarta. The order is in the form of a pattern (writing/image) that has been determined by the batik entrepreneur. Based on initial observations, it is known that there are several problems that become obstacles for these craftsmen. These obstacles, among others, the Surtanan batik group, chaired by Sri Suyamti, was originally a regional community development program under the guidance of batik entrepreneurs and the district government. However, as the development of batik production in each batik producer is different, this group tends to wait and does not have the motivation to develop their creativity. In addition, there are other problems, namely the lack of production and marketing strategies. Based on these problems, the author wants to carry out training and mentoring activities, targeting the Surtanan batik group. The focus of this activity is more directed at aspects of improving production techniques and production quality. By doing several approaches such as assistance in making batik based on product development through technical colet. Then the strengthening of human resources is carried out through the introduction of design development, which is expected to increase the variety of batik production so that it can increase market and business competitiveness.

Abstract

Abstract A Self efficacy is closely related to a person's belief about his ability to produce a certain policy (Bandura, 1999). In this study, self-efficacy is about the beliefs of Film and Television students, ISI Surakarta in speaking English skills. To measure the level of self-efficacy used three devices, namely: magnitude, strength and generality. The method used is qualitative. The research data was collected from informants who are first year students (semester 1 or 2) of the academic year 2021 – 2022 by using purposive sampling finding 18 informants. Data collection techniques are recordings of informants speaking English. The results of this study were eleven informants experienced an increase in speaking time in English. Meanwhile, seven informants did not experience an increase in speaking time.).

Abstract

ABSTRACT Karimunjawa is a National Park area that is famous for its beautiful natural potential and full of charm, besides that Karimunjawa also has a lot of potential - priceless natural wealth potential, namely the cultural diversity that exists in people's lives, which is inhabited by various ethnic groups living in the area. living permanently hundreds of years ago created cultural diversity that grew and developed, making Karimunjawa the embodiment of diversity in Indonesia who live in peace and coexistence in Karimunjawa. As a result, the process of cultural acculturation in Karimunjawa cannot develop and it isn't easy to produce unique cultural products in Karimunjawa. Given this, the PKM implementers assist in making Karimunjawa products and train the community on the batik-making process using eco print, stamp, and natural dye techniques. The method used is Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) which emphasizes community involvement in all activities ranging from planning, implementing, and evaluating program activities and Community development models, namely an approach that involves the community directly as the subject and object of implementing community service activities. The output of this PKM is a product. and KI.

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this study was to determine the application of the concept of Home Zone and Home Range in simple residential interiors, especially the arrangement of furniture layouts related to social distancing and circulation. The data collection method is in the form of deepening related literature and field documentation of related objects as well as interviews with related resource persons. Data analysis refers to an interactive analysis model combined with a pre-design alternative model which includes three components, namely: data reduction, data display (displaydata) and data validation (verification). The results of the study indicate that a good residential design must start from a well-planned surrounding environment and well-planned interior design, including meeting health and safety standards as a Healthy Home that fulfills physiological and psychological functions. The results of this study are expected to be an evaluation material for relevant stakeholders in the fulfillment of development facilities in the future.
