Abstract

           This research aims to determine the effect of bibliotherapy techniques on career planning of students in SMA Negeri 1 Tarakan. This research used quantitative research design through a quasi-experimental approach. The independent variable was bibliotherapy technique and the dependent variabel was the students? career planning. The population in this research were 216 students and used purposive sampling of 20 students at SMA Negeri 1 Tarakan as the technique of sampling. While for the instrument, this research used student career planning scale with the attitude measurement scale. In this research, descriptive statiscal analysis and inferensial were used as the data analysis.            Based on the results of data analysis and discussion of research results, it can be concluded that the career planning of class XI students at Tarakan 1 Public High School 2018/2019 Academic Year before being treated (pretest) the average score of 105.90 which means the average student has a plan medium career. After being given treatment (posttest) the results of the average score of 124.10, which means that most of the students have experienced an improvement in their career planning. This is reinforced by the results of the analysis shows the value of significance level of 0.000 which means smaller than the significance level of 5%. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of bibliotherapy techniques on the career planning of class XI students at SMA Negeri 1 Tarakan in the 2018/2019 school year.  Keywords: Bibliotherapy Technique, Student Career Planning

Abstract

This research aim to to know Effectiveness Technique of Desensitisasi Systematic To Lessen Dread Learn Student Class of VIII In SMP Country 7 Tarakan. Technique of Desensitisasi systematic is an technique to do change tune by focussed aid to client to make calm client of stress by teaching client for rileks in lessening emotional respon  which worry. This research use quantitative approach of type of quasi-eksperimen with design group control nonequivalent desain. Research population amount to 230 student. Sampling technique the used is sampling purposive with rule of research sampel and obtained by 20 student which divided in experiment group and control group. used instrument in the form of dread scale learn which have passed test of validasi of judgement expert and expressed is valid. The mentioned strenghtened with statistical analysis result of calculation of test of ttest by using Statistical Product And Service Solution ( SPSS) Version 24.00 windows for obtained nby value of signifikansi = 0.000 = 0.05. this matter show value of signifikan less than 0,05 can be pulled [by] conclusion that hypothesis accepted, meaning that technique of desensitisasi effective systematic in lessening dread learn class student of VIII in SMP Country 7 Tarakan School Year 2018 / 2019.  Keyword : Systematic Desensitisasi, Dread Learn.

Abstract

This study uses a quantitative type with a quasi-experimental approach to nonequivalent control group design. The study population amounted to 244 students, with purposive sampling sampling, the provisions of the study sample obtained 20 students divided into 10 experimental groups and 10 control groups. The instrument used in the form of student confidence scale that has been through validation testing from expert judgment and declared valid. Reliability of the confidence scale was tested using Alpha Cronbach and obtained a coefficient of 0.786 which showed a high level of reliability. Hypothesis analysis using the Wilcoxon test through the SPSS version 24.00 for windows program. Based on the results of statistical data analysis results of the calculation of the t-test using SPSS version 24.00 for windows obtained a significance value = 0.000 <? = 0.05. this shows a significant value of less than 0.05 can be concluded that the hypothesis is accepted, which means that there is an effect of self talk techniques on the confidence of class IX students in Tarakan 9 Middle School Academic Year 2018-1919.  Keywords: Self Talk, Student Confidence

Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this study is whether group counseling with self management techniques is effective to reduce students? academic procrastination behavior at Tarakan 3 public high school. This study aims to determine how effective group counseling with self management techniques is to reduce students? academic procrastination behavior at Tarakan 3 public high school.This type of research is a quantitative approach that is experiment. This study uses an untreated control group design with dependent pretest and posttest design. The population in this study is 143 class XI students at SMA Tarakan and a sample of 20 class XI students in SMA Tarakan. Data collection methods in this study use the scale of academic procrastination with likert scale. Data analysis techniques in this study are descriptive statistical techniques and test hypotheses using MIXED ANAVA assisted by SPSS 24.0 for windows program. Based on the results of the study before and after the treatment, obtained the results of calculation of hypothesis testing by looking at the table subject effect obtained F value = 157.370 and p value = 0,00 (p<0,05) and in the table pairwise comparisons shows that in the experimental group is significant (MD=-19.600; p<0,05) and in the control group showed that is was not significant (MD=- 2.400; p>0,05). Based on the results of mixed anova (anava mixed design) test management using SPSS 24.00 for windows it can be coucluded that group counseling with self management techniques can reduce students? academic procrastination behavior at Tarakan 3 public high school.  Keyword: group counseling, self management, academic procrastination

Abstract

Problem formulation in this research is how the implementation of career guidance services implemented by teachers BK at Vocational School Tarakan City. This study aims to determine the implementation of career guidance services implemented by teachers BK at vocational high schools as Tarakan City. The type of this research is descriptive survey research. The population in this study were 8 BK teacher at Vocational High School and the sampel was 2 BK teachers using random sampling. Methods of data collection using questionnaires and interviews. Data analysis technique in this research is percentage analysis. The results showed that the implementation of career guidance services in Vocational High School, reaching 85,55%. This means that implementation of career services program is in accordance with the provisions and mechanisms that have been set, so the school, by looking at aspects of planning, organizing, implementation, evaluation and follow-up.  Keywords : Implementation of Career Guidance Services

Abstract

This Research was to find out how the implementation of placement and the distribution of SMA Negeri 2 Tarakan year 2017-2018. Explain how the implementation of placement and distribution services. This study was conducted with a subject of counseling teacher. The techniques of collecting data were conducted in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques Were data reduction, data display, and conclusion. Then analyzed by using technique of data validity. Abstract

The purpose of this research to find out how parents do parenting in the modern era of tarakan city.  The method of the research used in the study is a qualitative method by using design case study. The subject in this study consists of three parents in the modern era.  As of the subject matter of the research process was snowball sampling. The method of data collection was observation and interviews. The result showed that (1) Cendana?s family is incline to the democratic parenting, it can be showed when the child asks something, the parents are, consider first the good and back side, the parents pay attention about  the hearty, the education, and the child?s religion problem (2) Cemara?s family is incline to the authoritative parenting, it can be showed to each parents? wishes should be do, the child is afraid and the effect rare to cry. Meanwhile the parents still pay attention the health of child. But to the education and religion, the parents incline neglectful parenting. The parents feel when the child in institute, the child is not beeded the guidance at home. The parents feel when they give the complee facilities, the duty of the parents are done (3) cempaka?s family is incline to the authoritative parenting, it can be shower when the child make a mistake, the parents divectly give the punishument. Neanwhile the parents still the child?s health, but in education and religion the parents is incline to negiectful parenting. The parents think handover to institute intentional becaous the parents do not have so much time for the child and the parents give the complete facilities for making happy their child.   The key words: parenting, parents, modern era.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of mind mapping on the learning motivation of class VIII of Junior High School 12 Tarakan in the academic year 2018/2019. This study uses a quantitative approach type quasi experimental design in the form of nonequivalent control group design. The population of this study is 191 eighth grade students of Junior High School 12 Tarakan. The research sample consisted of 20 students divided into the experimental group and the control group. Data collection method uses the AMS (Academic Motivation Scale) scale with a Likert scale. This study uses the relliabel formula to test the validity of the AMS (Academic Motivation Scale) scale with the results of 49 statement items there are 24 valid items. The data analysis technique in this study is descriptive statistical analysis and inferential analysis hypothesis testing using the SPSS 24.0 for Windows program mann whitney u.Based on the results of statistical data analysis results of the calculation of the mann whitney u using SPSS 24.0 for windows obtained a significance value = 0.000 <? = 0.05. This shows the significance value of less than 0.05 can be concluded that the hypothesis is accepted, which means that there is an influence of mind mapping on the learning motivation of VIII graders in Tarakan 12 Middle School in 201/2019 Academic Year.  Keywords: Mind Mapping, Learning Motivation

Abstract

Adolescence is a human life span, where adolescents experience development in physical, mental, social, and emotional maturity so that they tend to accentuate negative behavior, one of which is aggressive behavior. To overcome this behavior, the teacher's guidance and counseling efforts are very important. The formulation of the problem in this study is how the teacher's guidance and counseling efforts in dealing with aggressive behavior. The purpose of this study was to find out how the teacher's guidance and counseling efforts in dealing with aggressive behavior of students in SMP Negeri 12 Tarakan.   This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The informants in this study were principals, BK teachers and students. Research instruments are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that (1) the cause of students behaving aggressively is mostly because they have not been able to control emotions, the character of students is hard, and tend to assume that the behavior they do is reasonable and because of lack of supervision, attention and affection from parents so that children tend to feel able to do anything cool and (2) the efforts of BK teachers in dealing with aggressive behavior of students is quite good by providing individual counseling services, group counseling services, conducting home visits, working with parents and homerooms in monitoring student changes.   Keywords: Teacher, Guidance and Counseling, Aggressive Behavior.

Abstract

This research aims to know the influence of engineering behavior contract against a disciplined learning grade VIII SMP Negeri 6 Lesson 2018/2019 Year of Tarakan. This research uses research design pre-experimental with form one group pretest-posttest. Population of 212 students, people withdrawal sempel by using purposive sampling of as many as 7 people grade VIII. The instruments of this research using a scale discipline studied with likertscale, there is a valid item 29 of the 40 items. Data analysis techniques using descriptive statistics and analysis of inferensial using wilcoxon test with the help of 22.0 SPSS for windows. Based on the results of the study before and after administering treatment, obtained results calculation test hypotheses with decision-making based on the probability obtained the value of asymp sig = 0.018 < ? = 0.05 then Ho is rejected. Then it can be inferred that the engineering behavior contract effect on the discipline of studying grade VIII SMP Negeri 6 Lesson 2018/2019 Year of Tarakan.  Keywords : behavior contract, disciplined learning, students
