Abstract

Abstract

Pseudomonad fluorescents (Pf) is a biological agent that has been reported to enhance the growth of many plants because it can produce plant growth substance (auxin, gibberellins, and cytokinins), phosphate solvent enzyme, and siderofor. Information about the frequency of Pf in improving plant growth is limited. This study aimed to investigate the effect of  biofertilizer applied frequency on upland rice growth. The study was conducted from October to December 2011 in the screenhouse and Laboratory of Biological Department, Padang  State University. This study is experimental and the design used was randomized block design with 6 treatments and 5 replications. The treatment is the frequency of Pf applied there are without Pf (control), once, twice, three times, four times and five times. Data were analyzed using ANOVA and further test DNMRT the real level of 5%. The result showed that application of biofertilizer able to increasethe number of tillers and biomass of upland rice. However, the frequency of Pf has no effect on plant height, number of tillers, the wet weight and plant biomass.Key words : Pseudomonad flourescen, frequency, upland rice, biofertilizer

Abstract

The band gap of a 1,3,4 thiadiazole of monomer and dimmer in anti position, monomer and dimer of its ? BH2 substituted of those compounds had been studied by Calzaferri method. The optimized geometry had been obtained by optimizing the bond length (l) arA bond angel (?). The bond surface (?) was not been optimized since those molecules were assumed to be planar. The band gap was determined by measuring the different of HOMO and LUMO of the optimal condition. From there studies it were obtained that the Eg 1,3,4 thiadiazole monomer ard dimer in anti position, monomer and dimer of its substiruted - BH2 were 4,35793 eV; 3.31008eV ; 4.8900eV ;3,09322 eV; 3.11124 eV, respectively. Based on Eg. valued it was concluded that monomer substituted by -BH2, 1,3,4 thidiazole diamer in anti position and dimmer of its substituted - BH2 have Eg in semiconductor range (1,0-3,5 eV). Abstract

The aim of this study is to assess the variation effect of the amount and the location of seed  I-125 in dose absorbing behaviors of the target (prostate) and other organs at risk (bladder and rectum). The phantom model is 8x8x8 cm3 cube-shaped with 0.2x0.2x0.2 cm3 voxel size.   I-125 seeds are implanted into the prostate with variation of spacing and number. DOSXYZnrc is implemented to calculate doses.  To analyze dose distribution of each organ, the Dose Volume Histogram (DVH) program is developed using MATLAB. From this investigation, the effect of location of seeds influences the dose volume histogram for all organs. For example, the volume of prostate that receives 20% or more of the maximum dose (VB20) decrease around 40%, if the spacing among the seeds increases from 0.5 cm to 1 cm. But the spacing of seeds has insignificance effect on VB100 for each organ. This fenomena also appears if the number of seeds is changed. The spacing - and the number of seed have important role in the dose distribution not only on the target but also on the organs at risk. Therefore, the optimization for both parameters is needed.Key words: Brachytherapy, Prostate, DOSXYZnrc, DVH

Abstract

This study had been done to determine the diversity of Diatoms in the waters of the Teluk Bayur Padang, West Sumatera. Diatom samples were collected using a plankton net from five different stations. Each station purposive sampling defined by land use considerations. The result was find 67 species of diatoms, 38 species including Centrales orders, 29 species including Pennales order Frequency of attendance 100% match Climacodiumbiconcavum and Eunotia Lunaris. The highest density of C.biconcavum was 15.22 ind./l in waters near Mount Meruwith the highes trelative density wasfound in the waters of Nirwana Gardensis equal to 15.90%. The highest density of E.Lunaris was 15.22 ind./l in Kasiak Island water sand the highest relative density was found in the same water samounted to 10.90%. The waters chemical physics assay, factorlevels of N-total are lower than the minimum limit of 0.116mg/l in waters near the fishing village of Teluk Bayur.Key Words: Diatom, Diversity

Abstract

In this paper it is considered about Amanded Basic Virus Infection Model (ABVIM), with defined R0 which is  free from carrying capacity. R0 makes ABVIM reasonable for interpreting Hepatitis B virus infection. Abstract

This research was aimed at finding out the usage of radiological physics, i.e. the use of radiology in projecting the image of a constituent material without damaging the outer profile, calibrating radiological picture with aluminum profiles and measuring the relative sim card storage capacity of hand phones. The test was conducted to five types of sim cards along with a ladder-shaped aluminum profile. Photography radiology was performed energy 50 kv. Then the analysis of image quality was done by using software of new image analyzer 2007.  Image calibration process was done by using the results of aluminum profile image. The results of the photographic image were recorded 20 times, and then selected the best image. Then the image result obtained was used to calibrate the thickness of aluminum profile. From the calibration it was found the function equationof the grayscale, y=143,9e-0,18x with the correlation 0,974. As the result of the calibration, it was obtained the relative thickness of sim cards toward aluminum; between 0,3877 ? 0,7423mm. The density measurement of the sim card with grayscale was ranging between 125-134. The density shows the relative simcard storage capacity.Key words: storage capacity, radiographic images, simcard

Abstract

STAIN Batusangkar is oldest and require the support of information and communication technology tools in large quantities. It is necessary for procurement planning and management systems are integral and better. This study aimed to examine the overall architecture for business processes that exist in STAIN Batusangkar using enterprise modeling systems. The steps of modeling using EAP architecture is divided into two phases, namely the identification of enterprise and enterprise architecture development. Identification entreprise by defining the organization as an object to describe the vision and mission of the organization associated with the vision of information systems planning. This is done for the development of the campus architecture tailored to the business objectives. The results showed that the necessary framework of policy, strategic planning, organizational development concept of unit information and communications technology management, user management, network infrastructure and integrated information systems. Thus, we can conclude enterprise architecture modeling using enterprise information systems architecture planning can be used to assess the overall architecture of the existing business processes in STAIN Batusangkar using enterprise modeling systems. Key words: model enterprise architecture planning, STAIN Batusangkar

Abstract

The research was done in Nagari Limau Gadang, West Sumatera. The purpose of the research was to study the rate of intestinal nematode infection on the students of SDN Nagari Limau Gadang.The population of the research was the students of SDN Nagari Limau Gadang as many as 100 students divided into six grades, that is grade 1 until grade 6. By using stratified proportional random sampling, 40% of the students on each grade were considered as the sample. The hypothesis of the research was 85% of the students were infected by intestinal nematode and 15% were not. As the result, the hypothesis was accepted; more than 75% of the students of SDN Nagari Limau Gadang in Pesisir Selatan regency were infected by intestinal nematode, especially Ascaris lumbricoides35% and Ancylostoma 8,33%. It was found that intestinal nematode mostly infected female students, the students under 9 years old, and those with uneducated parents. Key words: infection, nematode, student
