Abstract

Humans are social beings who depend on social interaction. Social interaction that is often used is communication. Communication is one of the bridges to connect social relations between humans. Communication can be delivered in two ways, namely verbal or nonverbal. Handwriting is an example of nonverbal communication using paper and writing utensils. Each individual's writing has its own uniqueness so that handwriting often becomes the character or characteristic of the author. The handwriting pattern usually becomes a character for the writer so that people who recognize the writing will easily guess the ownership of the related handwriting. However, handwriting is often used by irresponsible people in the form of handwriting falsification. The acts of writing falcification often occur in the workplace or even in the field of education. This is one of the driving factors for creating a reliable system in tracking someone's handwriting based on their ownership. In this study, we will discuss the identification of a person's handwriting based on their ownership. The output of this research is in the form of ID from the author and accuracy in the form of percentage of system reliability in identifying. The results of this study are expected to have a good impact on all parties, in order to minimize plagiarism. Identification of handwriting to be built consists of two main processes, namely the training phase and the testing phase. At the training stage, the handwritten image is subjected to several processes, namely threshold, wavelet conversion, and then will be trained using the Backpropagation Artificial Neural Network. In the testing phase, the process is the same as in the training phase, but at the end of the process, a comparison will be made between the image data that has been stored during training with a comparison image.Backpropagation ANN can work optimally if it is trained using input data that has determined the size, learning rate, parameters, and the number of nodes on the network. It is expected that the offered method can work optimally so that it produces an accurate percentage in order to minimize handwriting falcification.

Abstract

Abstract. With the rapid spread of technology in all sectors of life and the necessary need to increase the speed of payment processes, confidentiality, and privacy in business operations, cryptocurrencies appeared. The cryptocurrency is a virtual and intangible currency, in which transactions are made through the Internet and without any physical exchange between parties. These currencies are characterized by decentralization, transparency, privacy. Because transactions are carried out through a cryptography process and depend on Blockchain technology it is highly protected. Blockchain generally is a distributed ledger or a decentralized database. The Blockchain architecture combines advanced cryptography, distributed consensus mechanisms, and a complex system of incentives and rewards. In cryptocurrency, transactions are created, transferred, and verified through an integrated process called mining. Network members (network nodes) who carry out verification processes of transactions are called miners. As it is a credit or debit card used in banking transactions, in cryptocurrencies there is a so-called electronic wallet that is used for transactions that take place on cryptocurrencies over the Internet through computers or smartphones. Blockchain technology architecture has given cryptocurrencies many advantages and features that increase its strength and distinction from regular currencies and regular financial transactions such as decentralization, high confidentiality, anonymity, speed of transactions, very low fees, unlimited number of transactions, unrestricted by geography and borders, transparency, protection from Inflation, and the peer-to-peer network. The misuse of powerful features in cryptocurrencies and Blockchain technology has led to many disadvantages such as the risks of lack of knowledge, the lack of wide acceptance, the high risk of investing in them, its volatile nature, and the inability to return missing payments. This study concentrates on cryptocurrencies in terms of advantages and disadvantages.

Abstract

The Fused Deposition Modeling method in the rapid prototyping technique was modified using a paste-shaped material with biocomposite material. One of the correction factors for the printed test specimen results is shrinkage. The paste material used is hydroxyapatite [CA5(PO4)6(OH)2] and tapioca bioplastic is one of the biomaterials that has been widely used in tissue engineering. Besides these materials, sericin is added, which is produced from extracts from silkworm cocoons. The composition of the biocomposite paste used with the ratio of hydroxy apatite and bioplastic was 40:50, 50:50, 60:40, by adding 0.3% sericin to the hydroxyapatite solution. The parameters used in the printing process of the test specimens are the perimeter speed of 60 mm/s, the infill speed of 10 mm/s, and the layer height of 0.45 mm. The design in this test has dimensions of 100mm long, 25mm wide, and 3mm thick. The optimal shrinkage of the test specimens was analyzed using the Taguchi . methodSpecimen printing is done by using additive manufacturing method. The process is carried out using a Portabee three-dimensional printing machine that uses a Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) system modified to an Aqueous-Based Extrusion Fabrication (ABEF) system. The size of the printed test specimens with dimensions of 100mm long, 25mm wide, and 3mm thick. The comparison of the biocomposite materials used in the composition of hydroxyapatite suspension paste and tapioca starch bioplastics ranged from 40:50, 50:50, 60:40, with the addition of 0.3% sericin hydroxyapatite suspension. The optimal composition of the bioplastic material was analyzed using the method. Taguchi. The results obtained that the optimum composition for shrinkage of the hydroxyapatite and bioplastic compositions was 50:50 with the addition of 0.3% sericin to the hydroxyapatite solution

Abstract

During a pandemic, all industries suffer greatly, and every sector of the world suffers in some way, including the education sector. Internet expressions reflect users' feelings about a product or service. The polarity of information in source data toward a subject under investigation is determined by sentiment analysis processes. The goal of this study is to examine social media expressions about online teaching and learning, as online education will become a part of everyday life in the future. We collected data from Twitter using keywords related to online education and Google form from engineering undergraduate students for prototype implementation. This analysis will assist teachers, parents, and the student community in understanding the benefits and drawbacks of the education industry, allowing for further improvement in educational outcomes. We used aspect-based sentiment analysis and topic modeling to determine sentiment polarity and important topics for education sector stakeholders. To begin, we used TextBlob Python package to determine sentiment polarity, and Bag of Words, LDA and LSA model for discovering topics. After modeling topics from the collected data, topic Coherence is used to assess the degree of semantic similarity between high-scoring words in the topic. The word cloud and LDAvis are used to visualize data. The experimental results are promising and it will assist education stakeholders in addressing the concerns that have been identified as social media expressions to work on.
