Abstract

The handling of corruption has been extensively carried out by the Indonesian government through a series of policies. Corruption incidents are closely related to the associated risk of bribery. The risk of gratification/bribery has become a dominant form of corruption in Indonesia, and this issue also occurs within the judicial system. The Bantul Religious Court is one of the units under the Supreme Court that took the initiative and volunteered to implement the Anti-Bribery Management System (ABMS) of the Supreme Court in 2023. This research aims to reveal the implementation of ABMS at the Bantul Religious Court and its impact on fulfilling the principles of Good Governance. The research method used is qualitative ethnomethodology, focusing on routine activities and emphasizing the observation of the daily interactions of a group of people within a community. The success of the Anti-Bribery Management System depends on the motivation and background of its needs, as well as the commitment of all parties, especially leaders, who must have a forward vision and a focus on improving public services. Understanding risk management remains a challenge, requiring sufficient planning and resources. The implementation of ABMS by the Supreme Court of Indonesia benefits society by reducing bribery and gratification practices through the improvement of work processes and risk management, enhancing effectiveness, accountability, and inclusivity in good governance. Abstract

This study examines the relationship between capital structure and ESG performance, along with the moderating role of profitability, using a sample of 30 publicly listed companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2021 to 2023. Through path analysis and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA), we find that Debt-to-Asset Ratio (DAR) positively influences ESG performance, suggesting that firms with higher leverage tend to achieve better ESG scores. However, this relationship is conditional on the type and level of profitability. Return on Equity (ROE) and Earnings Per Share (EPS) emerge as significant positive moderators, enhancing the positive effect of DAR on ESG performance. In contrast, Net Profit Margin (NPM) shows no moderating effect, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) directly improves ESG performance without significantly moderating the DAR-ESG link. These findings highlight that not all profitability metrics equally influence the capital structure-ESG relationship. Practically, the study suggests that sustainable financing strategies should consider both leverage levels and profitability types—firms with high ROE or EPS can more effectively utilize debt to support ESG initiatives, whereas low-profitability firms should exercise caution to avoid compromising their sustainability commitments. This research provides valuable insights for corporate management and policymakers in aligning financial strategies with ESG objectives.

Abstract

Public Fuel Filling Stations (SPBU) operate within a highly dynamic and competitive business environment. Fluctuating fuel prices, Government regulations, and changing consumer behavior pose significant challenges to maintaining operational sustainability and profitability. This study examines the application of Break Even Point (BEP) analysis and the Dynamic Capability approach in determining the optimal sales volume at SPBU Siwalan Panji. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method, utilizing data collection techniques such as interviews and documentation and data analysis involving reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that BEP analysis is critical in identifying the minimum sales volume required to avoid losses and is a strategic tool for managerial evaluation and decision-making. Moreover, implementing Dynamic Capability through the digitalization of payment systems, inventory management using IoT, and service quality improvements has proven effective in enhancing operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. These innovations enable the SPBU to adapt to environmental changes and maintain optimal sales performance. The study recommends that other SPBUs adopt an integrated application of BEP and Dynamic Capability to support sustainable business growth in the evolving fuel retail industry.

Abstract

This study examines how trading houses empower local firms to overcome export barriers, including foreign exchange risks and financing constraints, and serve as mediators that provide crucial market intelligence and quality assurance to reduce business risks. Using Structural Equation Modeling and Focus Group Discussions with 300 stakeholders across Jakarta, Bandung, Semarang, and Surabaya, the research reveals that trading houses significantly enhance export capabilities and support green product development through advanced manufacturing technologies and value-added investments, creating competitive advantages for the ASEAN Economic Community 2025. The findings demonstrate that while these partnerships foster sustainable industrial growth, their effectiveness is hampered by inconsistent national regulations regarding taxation, fees, and green product standards, highlighting the urgent need for more coherent policy frameworks to maximize trading houses' contribution to Indonesia's export development and sustainable manufacturing transition.
