Abstract

This research is an analysis of the implementation of public policies that specifically focuses and leads to a portrait of the implementation of youth empowerment policies through the Indonesian Youth Jamboree (JPI) Program in youth development in East Kalimantan Province. This study uses a descriptive qualitative methodology. The results showed that the implementation of youth empowerment policies through the JPI program in youth development in East Kalimantan province has generally been going well. Abstract

The resulting research showed that the Bachelor program in rural development (PSP-3)) in Samarinda is located of Sungai Siring district, Tanah Merah district (North Samarinda) and the Sindang Sari district, Makroman District and Sungai Kapih district  (Sambutan district) has not fulfilled the criteria os effective, efficient, adequacy, similarity, accuracy as for the criteria, not all programs meet this criterion. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe youth participation in the development of tourism villages in Pampang Cultural Village, Samarinda City. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive approach. Analysis of the data used in this study is the analysis of interactive model data. The results showed that the participation of youth in the development of a tourist village in Pampang Budaya Village was demonstrated by active participation in providing input, implementation, and implementation such as performing traditional dances, making handicrafts and mutual assistance as well as participating in enjoying the results and participating in evaluating the development of tourist villages.Keywords: Participation, Youth, The Village Tourist

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe and analyze the implementation of the acceleration of food consumption diversification (P2KP) program on the Women Farmers Group in Lempake Village, to identify and describe the supporting and inhibiting factors. This type of research is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The research location is in Lempake Sub-District, North Samarinda District. Data derived from interviews, observations and documents owned by farmer women's groups. Conclusions based on data processed using interactive model data analysis. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the implementation of the acceleration program of food consumption diversification (P2KP) on the women farmer groups in Lempake Village had been going well, although there were still things that needed improvement.Keywords: Implementation, Diversification,  Food Consumption

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the effectiveness of Indonesia-Canada Youth Exchange Program in Kalimantan Timur in order to increase youth activity, primary data were obtained through key informant namely Committee from Dinas Pemuda dan Olahraga Kalimantan Timur, and 4 informants consisting of PCMI Kalimantan Timur, also alumnae of Indonesia-Canada Youth Exchange Program from Kalimantan Timur Province, also supported by secondary data which is relevant archive. Furthermore, it was analyzed using Analysis Qualitative Data with CIPP Model through the scheme of FAO/Soekartawi evaluation research activities. The result of the research shows that the Indonesia-Canada Youth Exchange Program in Kalimantan Timur is not effective to increase youth activity because in implementation is founded that some components of program success factor were not implemented.Keywords: Effective, Youth Exchange, CIPP
