Abstract

Hipertensi merupakan penyebab kematian nomor 3 setelah stroke (15,4 %) dan tuberkulosis (7,5 %), yakni mencapai 6,8 % dari populasi kematian pada semua umur di Indonesia. Prevalensi penderita hipertensi di Indonesia terus terjadi peningkatan. Data Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Bantul tahun 2019 terjadi peningkatan penyakit tidak menular salah satunya hipertensi. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan lansia dan pelaksanaan senam hipertensi untuk mengkontrol tekanan darah. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah metode ceramah dan pelaksanaan senam hipertensi yang dilakukan ketika pelasanaan posyandu lansia. Hasil pengabdian masyarakat yang telah dilakukan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan lansia tentang penyakit hipertensi dari 20% meningkat menjadi 65% serta terlihat antusiasnya lansia denga jumlah kedatangan lansia sebanyak 42 orang. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan penyuluhan ini adalah diamana penyuluhan kesehatan tentang hipertensi berpengaruh positif terhadap tingkat pengetahuan lansia dan pelaksaanaan senam hipertensi untuk mengkontrol tekanan darah.

Abstract

Tooth decay is still a serious health problem in Indonesia. Dental health education is important to do early to avoid damage to his teeth. Dental health education must be made attractive, attractive, without reducing its contents. Education is carried out using audio-visual programs and also through direct demonstrations. This community service activity aims to provide education about how to brush teeth well and correctly so that students of the Al Munawwaroh Sewon Bantul TPA Mosque know and can get used to maintaining their dental health.TPA students are at the elementary school age, which is ideal for practicing children's motor skills, one of which is brushing their teeth. The results of community service activities with the theme of the smile dental program: health education about how to brush teeth properly and correctly can be concluded to be interesting and have an influence to change children's behavior for the better in terms of dental care, so this activity must be given repeatedly and requires collaboration between students, parents and teachers.

Abstract

Mushroom cultivation is a promising business because it is in great demand to be used as a food consumption such as oyster mushrooms and mushroom mushrooms. Oyster mushroom is a type of fungus that lives on weathered wood, sawdust ,. This organism is in great demand because of its high nutritional content and very good benefits. Because the nutritional content is very good, many people who use it for cultivation, besides having good selling points and relatively easy cultivation techniques. This sawdust waste is the raw material for white oyster mushrooms. With its abundant availability, this white oyster mushroom growing medium can be made as much as possible for cultivation that is very prospective for development. F1 seedlings that are often used in nurseries are pure culture subcultures. The advantage of using F1 seeds is that the mycelium is still very strong, so that later oyster mushrooms growing on baglog can be more numerous and the production results will also be more numerous . This community service activity is motivated by the large amount of sawdust waste found in many villages. Therefore, a white oyster mushroom cultivation business was arranged. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide skills to the community by cultivating oyster mushrooms using F1 seeds. The method to be carried out is the preparation, implementation and evaluation stages. In the preparation stage, what is done is preparing tools and materials. In the implementation phase of the service, the program will start from making F1 seeds at the D-3 Pharmacy Laboratory Instrument at Solar Global Stikes. Finally, the evaluation stage will see the results of the growth of the fungus misellium, the process of making baglog to the harvesting process

Abstract

The Community Service Program (PKM) have been carried out which aim to process the yield of Family Medicinal Plants (TOGA) into functional food products which high economic value in Numpukan, Karangtengah, Imogiri, Bantul. The method used is socialization and training. The socialization was carried out to increase the awareness of the people of Numpukan, Karangtengah in the importance of processing of the TOGA harvest into functional food. The training on making secang syrup and spiced ice cream was carried out to improve community skills. According to the initial plan, this PKM activity produced two functional food products namely secang syrup and spiced ice cream which are ready to be marketed. The marketing mechanism is through exhibitions and is marketed directly in stalls around Numpukan, Karangtengah. During the implementation of PKM, the products of the community of Numpukan Village were exhibited twice by the PKM team with a significant market response.Keywords : Functional Food Products, Product Marketing, Economic Value Increasing

Abstract

School-age children are the nation's next generation who have the potential to advance development in the future. A quarter of the time a day is spent by children at school, so the nutrition of eating or snacks the child needs to be a serious concern that needs to be monitored and fulfilled properly. Lack of knowledge of students causes them to snack in accordance with their preferences without thinking about food snacks that are exposed to physical contamination, biological chemistry and other dangerous substances. Community service is about the promotion of nutrition about healthy snacks. The purpose of this activity is to get students used to eating healthy foods. Health education methods and demonstrations were chosen to provide information about healthy snacks. The pretest posttest method is used to evaluate students' knowledge before and after health education is given about nutrition of healthy snacks. Respondents in this community service are Jaranan Elementary School students. The results showed an increase in students' knowledge about healthy snacks and observations made by the implementers with the help of teachers showed data that students had chosen and consumed healthy snacks as snacks at school.
